My 2 cents. The depth of your stance is a function of stretched muscle. You may sit deep with nothing internal. Internal can happen at any depth. Allowing the qua to sink - spine elongate.

Nothing like answering a question with a question but anyway. I stand every day for one hour. On bad days I sometimes also ask myself why I stand mostly wu wei knees bent a little. Sometimes I hug a tree or two. I stand for health - to let go of tension and to root. Now how long do you stand and how often. You've already said why.

A worthwile practice. I taught myself the reverse of Wu style 108. I did a little at a time - it can be challenging. It is freeing for mind and coordination, breaks fixed patterns. It helps you go deeper into the form and pay attention to the usual side- deeper realizations. Haven't done it in a while. Maybe I'll bring back the practice. -
Well maybe your bodies no longer there but where ever your essence is going you will be there. The 9/11 destruction of the twin towers - I no longer worked there after maybe fifteen years of working in the world trade center. Agreed he is too stiff and his body is not song - relaxed. Stance is too wide with too much stress on knees.

Practice flat footed feet parallel as possible weight on the outside of your feet so you don't pronate. Go only as far as you can without curving your back in. You can hold on to something in front of you with relaxed arms so you don't fall over. Think of sitting down - lead with your behind taking your thighs toward your calves. Relax as much as you can - release any tension. You can also try sitting on a low stool. Hang out as long as you can without straining - a little each day.
