mr Hottie~ we just wanna see if we can slow you down before we want you to speed up. Control issues… we sso bad!! Plus we gotta get it on before we gets it off, non?!! heehee!!❤ Mario, see if you like the one by Mantak Chia about cultivating male and female sexual energy. I think its title is… Taoist Secrets of Love. It is the basic one, whichever it is. All these activities require that the microcosmic orbit be opened first.
-
What HE has said is correct. Traditionally this is a method for older people to induce sexual energy to a refined level where it can be stored and used for mental, then spiritual refinement. Younger people have sufficient vital energy in their bodies and do not need to "graft" the sexual energy. I certainly wouldn't discourage anyone of any age to cultivate this type of practice. The benefits are obvious, though outside of that they may only help to ward off illness as long as the practice is maintained. Ejaculation is not coeval with orgasm if the impulse to ejaculate is controlled. Orgasm is not necessary as the male and female are joining energies. She is a vehicle, the male serves to ignite and sustain the fusion of energies. Orgasm is allowed at certain intervals, but dual angelic cultivation is not necessarily even about outward projection of conventional sexual phenomena. As close as possible (to coming) is relative because the male learns to leak off the excess, but again, the femme is a magnet, a sponge for yang— it's what compels male release. When the male does not release yet maintains a heightened sexual arousal, she has more fuel (his) to burn. The male must stop at sufficiency without letting the arousal dissipate. Since the vital sexual energy is transformed into a less volatile form (cooler), the femme has access to a more refined and usable source of psychic energy. In fact, the sexual dual cultivation has no need of physical proximity to be entirely effective.❤ ed note: add the last parts in response to Mario

Taoist Patriarch meaning of Body fast and inward gazing
deci belle replied to Suliman's topic in Daoist Discussion
Suliman, the others who deal in chinese characters may weigh in on this, but this is basically typical of a "mind-only" meditation primer. The steps are aimed at stilling the body, stilling the mind, then turning the attention around to gaze inward as the various progressive attributes of sensory perception in the head are eliminated for the purpose of concentration on the inner aspect of awareness empty of contents. The Secret of the Golden Flower teaching has been around for 2000 years as the phrase "turning the light around" was first coined by the adept Wenshi, who was said to be a student of Lao Tzu. The Secret of the Golden Flower is activating the capacity and flexibility of the human awareness empty of contents turned around to illumine the source of awareness itself. This practice is somewhat more advanced than the teaching for students you have attributed to Hsuan Hua. As the Golden Flower teaching is an "all at once" teaching, there is no intermediary aspect to this practice. The essential factors involved are open sincerity and inner truthfulness, aspects of the intent of the human body which has no location. When the human consciousness is clarified and empty of habit awareness, it becomes sensitive to the mind of tao also known as Real Knowledge or the impersonal objective awareness. Under the influence of the selfless intent of the human body symbolized by the Yellow Woman, Consciousness and Knowledge are induced to unite as the medicines of Fire and Water to form the original aware nature symbolized by Heaven. One DOES NOT FOCUS ATTENTION ON ANY PART OF THE BODY ESPECIALLY THE HEAD. The technique is to remove attention from sensory centers until there are no feelings or thoughts occupying the mind. ed note: add bulk of this post -
No, Orgasm really has nothing to do with ejaculation. The training is to get to that point. I feel your approach is much too rushed. Urinate completely before beginning. Relaaaaaaaaxxx. Coming is not the achievement. First losing the reflex to ejaculate is the start. "Stopping up" is arrival. When you are like a wooden baton without the inclination to even orgasm …this is expertise. This is how you are then able to drive or follow the femme on her build-ups, plateaus, crescendos and troughs, build-ups, and so on. Advancing yang …stopping at sufficiency …withdrawing and returning❤

Ooooooh!!! new Cleary book!!❤❤ Eeeeeeee!!! i suuuuucha groupie!! hahahhahaha!! ed note: add Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

…not to mention that the present contains the totality of energy potential. Actually, there has never been another moment to consider real regardless of one's cause in terms of times or one's function by virtue of unborn nonorigination.

No level is the highest level.❤ I know, and I didn't have a problem with it. One in a million doean't mean a thing to me. The quote appears in the Bloodstream Sermon and refers to the necessity of finding a teacher: ed note… add chris' and Bodhidharma's quotes; insert "a" in the penultimate sentence; italicize "No level"

I suppose it would be impossible to reconcile the differences between the two volumes. Cleary isn't shooting in the dark, allan. He is actually a "voice" for those who would keep the knowledge alive. Jung actually was several thousand years late in the "deep psychology" game and never knew it. Drop your bullshit non-issue soon, hmmmmmm? Actually, I experienced the the opening of the Golden Flower more than a few years before reading the Cleary volume, allan. Seen from the perspective of realization, I don't see any discrepancies in the text of the teaching I read. You must accept the fact that the two translations are from two different documents, the one you prefer was brought out by complete outsiders ignorant of even the rudiments of the Chinese literal contexts in which the teaching is embedded. It is you yourself who have been muddling about for so long clinging to the words of sectarianism. Don't shoot the piano player— shoot yourself and drop the skinbag. ed note: add second sentence

The Secret of the Golden Flower = The Golden Elixir of Immortality
deci belle replied to deci belle's topic in General Discussion
Yay!!❤ -
mr Marbles sez: You who can only value understanding …what is your part in inconceivability? Is that why you can only value philosophical understanding? Anyone can understand understanding. Why do you choose to ignore that enlightening activity is by virtue of understanding reality; Reality has as its function chaos and the unborn as its substance. It's just that you cannot entertain yourself with the real. mr V does not understand inconceivability, yet acts as if he does …and because you can only make sport of understanding, you willingly follow along to secure your pastime which has no actual part in keeping the knowledge you yourself deny as being the basis of the classics alive. You say the classics are philosophical works with an under and over-lay of spirituality~ ooooooh, what a concession!! Enlightening being partakes of inconceivability as its function by virtue of impersonal awareness— yet you yourself do not see this expressed the classics. Which is more profound, Marblehead— reason or nonoriginated selfless being? Why do you insist that the classics are based on the shallow aspect and not the profound, hmmmmm? ed note: add a (') in the second paragraph
-
Been there, done that, dear~ just sayin' But then you didn't know that because you haven't seen that, hmmmmm mr V? Maybe you ought to re-direct out attention after all. ed note: spell "ought" better
-
It is only confusion that I do not necessarily avoid. I do not need to preserve my little bit of clarity~ as I gave it up to see you. If you knew what not to do with your intellectual arrows— God knows you would only rush to display them all the more. Yet since you do not offer anything in response other than to project your own knowledge of confusion, and do nothing to actually display your ability to apply your quiver of intellectual footnotes to the reality which has no part of your insistence on denying the real inconceivability of this and that. You want to appear as if there is something to understand— and that you do. Confucious said that appearing to know when you do not is a sickness. Erudition without a basis in reality is balderdash and poppycock. I already knew you do not have a partnership in what is beyond the created. Reality has no sum of its parts— You are only a phantom among phantoms quoting antiquity. Absolute presence is not beyond your sum of its parts; not to mention that there is no such sum. The most important fact is that there are many viewers. If you believe I have an issue with you, it is only due to your knowledge of confusion as your identity of projections. You are providing the situation, mr V. The situation itself is providing the context. So would you like to re-direct attention? That would be so convenient. Your inability to apply potential to meet creation is indicative of your denial of the real— and the day-jobs of enlightening beings who have no fear of confusion flourishing as flowers fall. I only speak of the real. So necessarily the sameness of Samsara and Nirvana eludes you, and therefore you must project confusion to express an inability to see through both in order to see reality as is— and perpetuate your high-minded concepts void of reality. You say it cannot be done because you yourself cannot do it. mr V sez: HAW!! (borrowed that from Judo Trend) ed note: add "not" in second sentence; "not to mention that" in the 4th paragraph
-
Thoughts ARE real. Why not your dreams? Life is as much an illusion as these when you know complete reality as the sameness of Absolute and Samsara. They aren't equal~ they're the same thing. This is the source of the Tai Chi symbol swirling in the void (that's where is swirls). That's what each of you will see when you arrive at inconceivability. The void of reality is just this here right now. You yourself do not see it— for those of you who cannot, it might as well be a void. Every bit as empty as you. For those who do see, there is no thing, whom else do you seek? When the emperor asked Bodhidharma, "Who is talking to me?" This is seeking. Knowing the emperor had no grasp of emptiness, he replied, "Don't know." This is no thing. Many of those who are able, interpret his reply as a reflection of the absolute of no distinction; the delusion of samsara. I say he was pointing directly to the mind itself, directly telling the emperor the unequivocal instructions "Don't know". True knowledge has no such knowledge. This is also "don't know". Who can know this can apply the sameness of Samsara and Nirvana as everyday ordinary situations in everyday ordinary situations. Why doesn't mr V ever discuss the application of his wonderful bookwork in everyday situations? Perhaps that's where he gets smacked himself in real-life, where it evens out in his dreams.

Meditation is not a good way for practising
deci belle replied to Lao Tzu's topic in Daoist Discussion
Yes, or be open to presence right now and forget the flow of inner dialogue until something comes up~ then respond impersonally by assessing the situation objectively. That's a way to do it too. haha!! "score another home run for the team" hahaha!!❤ Ya, it's a feeling (for me), that if I did that (step up to the plate), I will never find out what happens, in the end (if I interfere with arbitrary karmic actions). So we learn to ditch the habitual arbitrary thoughts and actions, so they are not habitually there— so we don't habitually follow them and reap their self-perpetuating consequences. It's more like, "What are these poor miscreants doing?!! …we'll see how will this turn out." Our lifetimes are the result of encounters❤ -
Wenshi's turning the light around. Bankei's Unborn ordinary mind. Master Lu's One Hundred Character Tablet's "There is no thing, whom else do you seek?" The deal with energy work is "its something to do"; whereas with there is no thing …this is a daunting prospect, and, unfortunately, this sets off countless people on a dead-end track. The teachers know that at least the student with be "close" with energy-work (as close as teachers are…) But it is working with what is not the same which will never produce the elixir of immortality. How then can students ever enter the path of complete reality by toiling vainly at energy-work. But it is not the fault of teachers. Self-refinement is the student's responsibility. ed note: add "with energy-work", in the penultimate paragraph

mr V sez: And the even more rarely conceived, the Presence which is neither. This would be complete Reality; Suchness, as is.

mr Nerds said: THIS IS EGO'S PERSPECTIVE THROUGH AND THROUGH. When that doesn't work, that's when we hear about it in the news.❤ Non!! Non!! Non!! hahahhahahhaaa!!!❤❤ Noo000o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0oo!! Mon ami~ please. One deals with phantoms every bit as real as you are in your everyday ordinary situations. There is no seems about it. One is embedded in the situation. HELL, you are the situation. Only you see it from your perspective whether it is objective or deluded. So, naturally the sane choice is to see through delusion, hmmmm?!!

The idea of samsara...and the idea that even thinking about it is extremely negative
deci belle replied to skydog's topic in General Discussion
Yow!! This is terribly erroneous, I'm afraid!! Is this really what you meant, Gerard? Gerard said: Maybe leaving your life behind, but leaving society is screwing up. The short path is the Great Vehicle of buddhas and adepts, the middle way; Suchness: selfless adaption to conditions as they are by nondoing, i.e., seeing through phenomena without denying appearances. HE said: -
haha! hi Nerd~ oh well, c'est la vie❤ The Source Progenitor is taken out of Master Lu's One Hundred Character Tablet. There is a fine version of it with commentary by Liu I-Ming starting on page 239 of Vitality Energy Spirit, translated by Thomas Cleary. The first nine lines comprise half of the text, which uncannily echos the sixteenth chapter of the TTC: The source progenitor is the True Lead, the mind of tao, objective awareness, represented as the middle line of the trigram Water. Losing the source progenitor is losing objective awareness. This is how ordinary existence perpetuates itself. Your own awareness is aware itself. This is unborn mind. There is no other mind. Deluded people don't see their delusion. That's what delusion is. Being awake is seeing delusion. Seeing delusion is enlightening activity. When you see delusion by objective awareness, it cannot fool you, so you don't go along. Not going along is reversal. Seeing delusion is itself "turning the light around to illumine its source". The reason for "turning the light around" is to recover this source progenitor of objective awareness to use the light to see delusion. Creation itself is delusion. It has form but no inherent reality. The absolute is itself the source of awareness. It is utterly immaterial, yet real. The Heart Sutra states, "Form is formless; formlessness is form. Turning the light around is seeing through phenomena without negating appearances. Neither form nor formless, reality is Suchness as is. Enlightening being is just seeing reality as is; not following the momentum of Creation. When you turn the light around, the world looks the same, but you don't go along with it. Why? Because turning the light around is following the same light that is creation; following it in reverse, there is no birth and death, so one lives amidst yin and yang without going along with yin and yang. It is incredibly simple, yet who can turn this light around?

Meditation is not a good way for practising
deci belle replied to Lao Tzu's topic in Daoist Discussion
Actually it is in its place, but it has assumed duties that it needs to be relieved of. We relieve ego of these entitlements by not applying them. We just give ego less and less to do. One must never battle mind by mind~ that is insanity. So we just do not employ intellect. Outwardly like a dunce, observe the errant human mentality. If it is inactive …or seems to be… it may be fooling you. Just observe mind by mind with subtle concentration. There is no substitute. Endeavor to observe the internal dialogue whether it is rushing by or just trickling. Just observe. You know how it feels to be observed. It's unsettling. Just observe without following thoughts' seductive ways and without letting up; whether walking, standing, sitting or lying down, maintaining a subtle consistency is the unsurpassed method of self-refinement. As for karma, it is your life right now. You exist by virtue of karma right now. Karma is the matrix of creative evolution. Ordinary people go along with creation, perpetually feeding the momentum of karma, sustaining the energy of creation; enlightening beings, going in reverse, say goodbye to their lives without regret. Since created life is karmic, if you want to be free from the killing energy of artificial polluted deluded existence, one must be able to say goodbye to the source of beginningless ignorance in order to turn oneself around and follow the light of creation in reverse to recover the source of innate living awareness in your own body. Karma is living and dying. Enlightening being is activating the unborn awareness. This awareness is intact and functioning right now, only intellect is using it to create illusion befitting selfish views relative to situations. If you have the will to let the life you know bleed to death without blinking in order to discover what has been glowing all along, then just observe mind without following thoughts. -
"Circulating the light" …would that be a quote from the Wilhelm version, allan? The correct and precise term is "turn the light around". The adept who coined the phrase lived over two thousand years ago. The light is NOT circulated in any way shape or form. It is immaterial essence of awareness. You do not turn it around either: it is you reversing your orientation relative to the essence of consciousness itself. NOTHING IS CIRCULATED. One is never to employ hope. Period. Ever. Practice is not about hope. I'm afraid you have missed the entire point of this meditation. It may be possible that you are not quite ready to effect the teaching yet. Meditation, per se, has nothing to do with realization, much less taking over creation to embody enlightening being in ordinary situations. Meditation is a temporary expedient to train the errant ego-reflective mentality that it is not the focus or identity of the self— meditation is not a method to attain something. The Golden Flower teaching is one's own living quality partaking of the potential embedded in creation itself to adapt to conditions without cloying involvement in karmic momentum. It is not a matter of being enlightened. Sudden realization is only an indication of one's present harmony with unborn selfless essential aware nature. This is not a method for attaining transcendent experience. This is employing the transcendent itself as one's own presence unbeknownst to anyone. I suggest you actually study my post, dear. Your questions seem redundant and out of place considering what I wrote. Which translator "showed ignorance"? What is misleading, and how did you avoid being misled in this case? Such a kind comment by Rainbowvein and such a clarity is not easily come by, I might add, allan. ed note: change "embodying" to "embody", in the 3rd paragraph

heehee!!❤ i'm just a little loud, that's all❤❤ Inner truthfulness and sincerity are the only prerequisites to develop one's own inherent quality of openness. And a strategy in the service of one's duties in the spirit of freedom, yes. Don Juan Matus once said that the only things a warrior has to work with in his bid with Power is will and patience. Regardless of our individual realization and sphere of understanding, we are each surrounded by a circular nadir and horizon extending into the unknown. There is no end to this mysterious world. -
The spiritual is nonpsychological. People do not know this. As for Spirit, pertaining to uncreated nonoriginated impersonal nonbeing, this is potential living awareness. Actually what this pertains to is beyond words, yet it is only your own miraculous aware being right now. After all, I was looking forward to what mr Recep had to offer… now I am not. Until you begin elucidating on the Uncreate, mr Recep, I am afraid this Turkish/Mongol tradition, to the degree you are aware of it, and so fond of promulgating too, has the stamp of Creationism all over it. I'll bet the ancient Turkish/Mongol tradition to which you refer has a lot more to offer in depth and profundity than you are heretofore aware of. And please stop pointing, dear …it is sso unevolved!! haha!!❤❤ ed note: typo in penultimate sentence
