Different schools have their emphasis. In seeking answers to these very abstruse experiential events/phases/refinements, all are based on open awareness before the dichotomy of yin/yang. Those who have penetrated the subtleties are eventually able to point out the pitfalls on a personal basis, though the generalities are often sufficient as everyone experiences this according to their unique combinations. You have the gist of the matter well enough. Know that it is a natural process from beginning to end. You recognize correctly that pre heaven is not the end. Entry into the inconceivable is actually the beginning of the path once one empties out openness in the aftermath of refining mercury with lead and joining the two medicines in pre heaven— but primarily your concern at this time should be using everyday ordinary situations to refine oneself. First refine the self, then await the time. Sincerity and openness is like water on stone. Purity gradually dissolves the false; what is left is the real: seal this away in innocence without entertaining ideas. You be the guest and make other the host. Though one has the heart to take hearts, what gains entry is not one's own; though you do not abandon your heart, at each critical juncture, you do not take it with you. This is the nonpsychological yin convergence process of training post heaven to return to pre heaven I know. As for the unification of pre and post heaven, they are one already— even now. What is involved in the process is refining the self. When one forgets body, forgets feelings, forgets mind, forgets self, forgets being, forgets time, there is a reversion. The proto-erotic and the living spark of your own knowing is one and the same. The impulse of eros is the will to see, to plumb desire, to know psyche …of this life, this world~ but her unworldly essence can only be destined for oneness in terms of true cosmic unity and her partnership with her eros, her fulfilled desire. If by Kunlun energy you mean bringing up silver potential and suffusing this to merge at the crown to shower down, I can assure you, this requires no posture at all. It is possible to witness this before falling asleep on one's back in bed. Observation leading to stillness of processes; concentration leading to cessation of thought: the two things mingle. One does not move energy. It is not the same thing in this instance as beginners' energy work. Do not focus on the pineal gland. It is very important not to focus on any point in the body. It is best to exercise mental stillness and observe the spontaneous massing of potential in the body; since it is a natural event upon stilling body and mind , there is no need to help or influence the process. The most important requirement from start to finish is sincerity and openness. Next, it is important to recognize the time. At the right time, the energy rises; when it meets the crown, sweet dew showers the self. Be sure to sent it off mindfully.

So for a dragon, there is only seeing through appearances: Since a dragon is free, it leaves changes altogether and lives unconfined by creative evolution. But if you are not a dragon Enter the Dragon means your life is in the balance: It is you who enter the lair of life and death At every turn. If by entry one only inspires a complacency to die there how is this different than being born of one's parent's— how high those bones are piled to the skies! Enter the Dragon means just that; You enter the Dragon. Unless you kindle the will to penetrate the dragon and leave its bleached bones to ransom the remnants of action of all time— of all creation… You cannot be said to have penetrated your own marrow.

Wonderful! What the Dharma eye sees is identical to the Dragon's seeing. One's own Dharma eye is itself enlightening function seeing through appearances. There is no other dragon. Although potential is not manifesting, because enlightening activity is just working with potential in terms of situations themselves, there is unfolding. The Real (potential) is trapped in terms of the manifest. Dragons reverse this, freeing it. The working of Dragons is in seeing potential as the heart of ordinary situations and matching oneself to this potential without going along with the karmic momentum of appearances. Random appearances mirror the situation of conditional self and other; a dragon essentially sees nothing because dragons know nonbeing as such. I would say "Dragon" is seeing as such; not that there is existential or nonexistential "dragon", only function. Such a lovely song, XieJia!!❤ ed note: add "nonexistential" in the penultimate line.

You and the universe is the same function as the Dragon. If this is realized, though there be changes, one is not carried along with creation. What is compulsive in the human mind is following partial reflections (partial to, and in terms of, habitual self-reflecting karmic patterns) creating illusion where there is nothing ever having begun in the Dragon. Yes, it moves. When you still mind on the breath, you see movement and witness the alternations, but mind has no movement itself. Though there be endless cycles, one does not experience change. At a certain point, the breath stops and one's own mind enters the Dragon. Then one witnesses a complete cycle in the Unborn; the movement is inconceivability itself, but there is a corollary recurrence in nonpsychological responses to ordinary events. I couched the statement above in terms depicting a formal meditation event but the description of the resultant interruption of normal breathing is analogous to interrupting the conditioned alternating flow of habitual consciousness wherein one "drops off" and sees one's original face and experiences original pristine mind. When one's Dharma eye is opened, one's inherent potential is released and enters the Unborn. Allowing for a maturation period, one eventually enters the tao in reality according to everyday ordinary situations without differentiating between absolute and mundane. Seeing through appearances without denying characteristics and adapting selflessly to conditions as they are is resolving differences in the Unborn as they occur by virtue of manifest potential reverting to essence by the power of your developing Dharma eye. This is because when you witness the change of the Changeless, karmic cycles of created change do not have power over you. Why? Because you know the Unborn, wherein movement and stillness are undifferentiated. In terms of alchemy, one's Dharma eye sees potential, which is originally essence: this is the Self. That's what it does. One's eyes see appearances, which is sense: this is other. One uses essence (potential) to seek feeling (sense). The Dragon's special designation is will, earth, the center, the true intent; which is living awareness itself where there is only complete unity without location, so potential and appearances are naturally, factually and spontaneously resolved in immediate acquiescence by the Virtue of Receptivity. It is up to oneself at all times, because response is a personal affair determined by the karmic forces inherent in any given situation wherein one is wonderfully innocent, open and audacious. I love what taoists call it …operate the Yin Convergence, take over creation and steal potential; sealing it away in darkness. All it really means is not speculating in potential (inherent in appearances) while following desires. This is how one avoids stepping over the line. When the harsh, killing yin energy arises naturally in each alternating created cycle of conditioned evolution, one withdraws without entertaining intellectualism. That's all there is to alchemy: karmic espionage~ trés savage!! By being a selfless interloper of karmic evolution without going along with its creations, one unifies the appearance and potential of inherent complete reality: with one yin and one yang, you re-enact the changeless change within oneself over and over and over in ordinary situations unbeknownst to anyone.❤

Its effect arrived at by deception only to save the lives of the population and eradicate the corrupt. An encapsulation of a force of intent within the inconceivable perspective of nonbeing This is the strategy of selflessness whether hidden in defense or attacking from the heights Assessing advantage and weakness in oneself and other objectively and responding impersonally Neither seeking honor nor avoiding blame; acting only when advantageous and dismissing emotionalism. Complete reality is just this. This has never been told in numberless eons. If you know it, but you are not even one bespoken to say there is no saying it, this is reality as is, and you are as free and untrammeled as your original face before your parents were born. Before a single thought, this is emptiness, suchness as is, unattributable. So it is not something. Nor is it something without attributes. It is unattributability itself. This is the real. Why? Because reality as such having no attributes is your selfless aware nature; one must still take the forward step oneself, without hope or regret. This stanza represents living one's life as such. What could be more natural? And who could ever tell of it? From this point on, the song delves into the realm of the Untold. Stopping short Fitting in Going along Blazing within Outside of traditional mental hygienics as a means to save energy, when one has passed through the veils and tasted the scenery of singularity and has planted the seed of immortals in the homeland of nothing whatsoever and the Golden Flower opens, one gains access to the workings of the Virtue of the Receptive. Sudden realization is a most fortunate event because the compulsion to act unawares is forgotten forever. In its stead is the remnant of nonbeing, aglow, blazing within your breast. Having passed through the Mysterious Female once, one retains, nurtures, develops this power of immediate acquiescence to further enter the mystery. So one uses the power of Receptivity to step over eternity, hide one's light, enter the marketplace and walk with hands open in order to meet the world fully without holding anything back. This is advance practice. Taoism calls this setting up the furnace and cauldron again, performing tasks in everyday ordinary situations unbeknownst to anyone. As before, it isn't really doing. It is selfless response according to the situation. The Art of War states that "victory depends on the other". Immediate acquiescence is selfless adaption. As before (in preliminary alchemic operations of advancing and withdrawing the fire), one follows the course of the yin convergence and withdraws the fire at the first sign of the killing energy of polluted yin energy and gathers potential, sealing it securely. Follow desires and go along with situations to introduce guidance; then stop short as the killing energy arises. Every cycle of yin and yang requiring operation of yin convergence. You do this as before: by not-doing in withdrawl. Over and over and over, for absolutely no conceivable reason, you follow the cycles of evolution in ordinary situations without speculating in potential inherent in the polluted energy of created worldly situations. You must realize there is no hope involved, either before or after; whether giving or taking; expanding or receding, and no one knows. Selflessness is not a matter of caring for people in a special way— it is the way of adapting to circumstances according to people's capacities and neurosis. One uses the fuel inherent in the situation itself. The energy itself dictates your response, which is immediate; not requiring a dust-mote from outside. Ruthless life Ruthless art Ruthless dream Female heart So taking this to the limit of the limitless, adapting to conditions before and after; only then letting the world go on without you without entertaining hope, without misgivings, immovable, seeing each situation through, you find out what really happens. Even though you go along with conditions, you neither invest in nor speculate in outcomes. Having stepped over eternity, time, in terms of situations, is plastic. It is truly up to oneself to stretch or prolong times. One simply does not have any capacity for such things as hope— as hope is an utter time-sucker dependent on outcomes. Outcomes are for those who are invested in selfish reasoning. Selfless awareness completely annihilates time, hope, craving, outcomes. Hope in what, for what? This is not a matter of hopelessness either~ this is the power of the Mysterious Female, transcendent. Ruthlessness is in terms of the world's perspective preferring outcomes. End-Gaming is not concerned with them at all. The End Game has no such preference. The End Game has absolutely no relationship to the world in terms of created energy other than using the world's own momentum to meet conditions. There is no sense of separation because End-Gaming already has tacit accord with the real within the false. No outside energy expended; effortless, spontaneous, selfless. Those who, lacking faith, confused and thinking there is actually something to be avoided or denied in terms of lacking working relationships with suchness, emptiness, potential, or else juggling puny moralistic judgements of right and wrong, stumble past the real time and time again; only degrading themselves and taking misery for pleasure, never in their lives knowing an end to it. Seeing through conditions without denying characteristics is giving oneself without holding back. Even as the world seduces you relentlessly, and you can respond appropriately, still you do not crave desire or results, neither pandering to the future nor second-guessing the past~ there is only life, art and dream of an empty, open, ruthless Mysterious Female heart. But since enlightening being can be resorted to, this is not to be overlooked in lieu of the very means to it as you have listed~ most importantly: taking responsibility for one's own actions. The concept of karma may very well be misused to escape responsibility, but I don't know if that is necessarily the case here. Karma itself is certainly no escape at all. Though I said there is no escape from one's predicaments navigating delusional existence, I will ascertain that the enlightened perspective naturally excludes nothing. Self, other, absolute and discriminatory awareness is included. That's what makes functioning from within the unborn essential perspective real. As for your second sentence, that's a cool comparison— and even though you seem to be aiming the comparison at the lowest level of formative-morality buddhism, it could be carried further as the effects of both sin and karma are transcended as a result of atonement with noumenon, suchness as is. But, then the analogy starts to veer… Karma is both positive and negative. It is your life— intertwined as creative potential potential. When you sever the root of karma in your life, it is still up to you to keep it that way— and that is not a matter of keeping your personal little ball of enlightenment separate from delusion; which is a subject beyond the scope of this thread. In order to discuss karma, it is necessary to gain the perspective of selfless awareness which is not to be confused with conventional notions of good and bad or compassion. These conventional notions are the formative moralities of religions the world over. But the source of buddhism is not religion. Actually, the highest levels of authentic enlightened teaching on this planet regardless of location or civilization are beyond any organizational hierarchy. This is precisely what buddhism teaches. This is called the transmission outside of doctrine, words and meaning. This isn't religion— it's the source of religion. One has to be utterly free and independent to experience this, much less uphold this in ordinary situations. This is why I said that if one really wants to be free, I recommend psychological detachment leading to nonpsychological openness. Karma is the law of action within the confines of creation. Enlightening being is just this nonpsychological open awareness without bias or inclination operating as one's own dharma-eyes outside the confines of creative cycles enabling one to see through karmic evolution (one's own AND others') in the midst of the blood and guts of everyday ordinary situations. This is not just gaining insight— it is using insight like a pro. Expertise and precision come with practice. What is essential is spontaneous selfless response based on pure freedom beyond convention. The Art of War states that quickness, even if clumsy, is superior to preconceived strategies based on (in effect) leading from behind; ie: calculated reacting. This gets closer to the heart of the karmic conundrum because spontaneous movement is based on stillness, openness and clarity, whereas karma is dependent on kinesis; psychological momentum as created conditioned cycles. Enlightening being is the expression of the living aware unborn energy undetermined by creation. This is the Causeless. Severing the root of karmic existence is the same as entry into the Causeless. Causeless action using unborn energy is selfless action responding naturally to parameters set up and determined by karma itself. Enlightening being isn't free of karma~ it's free in karma. Nothing is excluded. Since all the formative moralities and wisdom teachings of authentic traditions the world over are the result of the civilizing function of Universal Good, not a country, nor religious doctrine, I must insist that actions ruled by conventions of compassionate behavior in thought and action do not go far enough to get to the root of the problem of having a self. The most effective way of commanding selfless action responding in immediate acquiescence is by gaining the perspective of one's inherent selfless awareness that operates independently from within one's own spheres of delusion without excluding delusional or absolute qualities in self or others. There is a reason why it is called the Great Vehicle. Karma is not to be avoided in others and is not to be perpetuated in oneself.❤

Information about mum is immaterial and irrelevant. Mum makes no sense~ if she did, you would have figured it out by now. Use the pain. See through it if it kills you. If you are lucky, you will pass through this fortunate irritation and exhaust your tiny self-concept in the process (that's a good thing). The truth is, you have never had one life, much less three. All these are dreams. Even recurring lives and deaths are temporary alternations of endless cycles of creation. Buddhas couldn't care less about it. Why? Because lives and deaths are equal. The intervals between are also equal. The lives and deaths you are going through now are no different than the past lives and deaths we all have gone through. Passing through is transcending a cycle. Passing through (without italics) is being subject to a cycle. Right now you do not have a choice. All enlightenment would convince you of is that there is no escape. Since there is no escape, give yourself a little space. If you can garner a little autonomy, so much the better. Often I am amazed to realize that in the final analysis, if given the choice, some people don't desire freedom at all. If you want freedom, I recommend psychological detachment leading to nonpsychological openness. You ought to be questioning karma itself; not its ramifications on your current ego-centered dream-state. Enlightenment doesn't fix anything. Destroys environment …find out the indestructibility of mind yourself first, then perhaps you will see about how you yourself are responsible for environmental destruction every day. Corporate apologists are careerists dependent wholly on the very producers they demonize; it is a pity these same individuals overlook their own puny, bankrupt, morality-play and thoroughly perforated guts without ever coming to terms with the fact they have no capacity for self refinement whatsoever. It is an egoistic affair to avoid affirming oneself the responsibility for one's own part while simultaneously insinuating that a crowed pseudo-concern must therefore give them possession of a singular repute— albeit to provide an existential respite in terms of a vague social blamelessness. Nondiscriminating Awareness Uphold the perspective that is accomplished neither through striving nor through influences beyond selfless awareness. It is just one's own ordinary mind before the first thought. Just this is one's true identity reaching through mundanity before time right now as illuminating presence. One simply does not have cause for speculating in temporal manifestations in fear of missing out on particulars. Instead, one rests in the temporal perspective described as the perpetual result where spontaneity is the natural and selfless response to conditions. This is readiness without cause or reason. It is one's personal affair. In giving of oneself, other is host; whereas enlightening being responds with precision. Though the guest has it hard, there is no effort. No one else is the wiser, yet all believe the cause is up to the individual. Since enlightening being is the result of causelessness, one acts without acting, outside of karmic evolution. In alchemic terms, this is taking over creation outside of the created cycles of yin and yang whereby, coeval with the creative, one steals potential and restores it to the essence of creation which is unborn. The function of the way is in return. One either follows the tao in reverse or goes along with creation. It's up to you. As enlightening being, the incalculable period has no duration since celestial timing is outside times. It is an inconceivable vessel. In ordinary time, processes may be short or long. In terms of celestial timing, there is nothing to keep track of; everything is a natural affair as one follows the bellows of the creative. One goes along with the respiration of the natural tao. One follows desire without stepping over the line in order to introduce guidance. One controls evolution without being controlled oneself. It is described as selfless adaption, but no one knows. Adapting to conditions couldn't be more natural, so no one notices. The incalculable period is just a reference to that which has no duration, beginning, result, gain or loss. One is abiding in perpetuity not so much in the midst of temporal situations, but as is— all without distinguishing concretions such as one's apparent physical, psychological and psychic states from others' states. One takes all into account without bias or inclination; assessing objectively and responding impersonally to conditions. This is no different than personally actualizing the term "entering the tao in reality", where the parallel mystical vision of the flowing pearl hangs in the void; the great tai chi revolves hovering in stillness; the great wheel of the flux of creation spins in subsuming vortex once one has set it in motion as an enlightening being beyond the confines of creation— a match for creation; a partner in the celestial design. It is entry into the inconceivable~ but not apart from one's ordinary mind. The very same mind of one's individual personality quirks and selfless potential flows seamlessly within and without created sensory perception. This is marvelous miraculous aware presence. Enlightening being does not differentiate between mundane and absolute; one simply does not act out of compulsion: this is the Virtue of the Receptive. This is your own mind functioning in perpetuity in the Unborn right now. The nonoccurrence of illusion in one's own unborn awareness due to psychological nonpartiality of orientation in adapting to ordinary circumstances is all there is to enlightening being; this is buddhahood itself— one needn't wait for sudden enlightenment to walk in the footsteps of prior illuminates. Sudden enlightenment is just a result of true harmony with complete reality. Complete reality has no need of enlightenment. Just be completely real, void of bias or inclination and the circumstantial result of impersonal awareness gone, gone, beyond gone …gone beyond— will come of its own accord. This is working with the basic sane energy one was born with to see essence in the midst of mundanity directly in order to turn the killing energy of created cycles into a sea of jewels. The very bedrock will transport itself and oneself along with it, if one is authentically immovable in the essential quality of earth. What is required is stillness within one's own breadth of heart. Compassion isn't good or bad, just impersonally accepting and responding precisely according to circumstances. One may be entitled to basic sanity, but accomplishing complete reality is a matter of matching circumstances in terms of essential nature which leaves nothing to be desired within or without one's own power of receptivity. Acquiescence is a matter of freedom, not submission to externals. Tao is complete, yet creation is sexual. One who's lexicon is the Virtue of the Way uses essence to seek feeling. It is not the fault of the way or enlightening beings if all essence garners is insanity. Enlightening being expects nothing, so what is the norm for worldly beings does not affect enlightened virtue, which is to adapt to conditions as a matter of course. This is not beyond one's own everyday ordinary aware being; it has never been so, nor will it ever be so.
