Uh... this is Li Chinglin's form. Li (the God Sword) taught Yang Chenfu. This is from the line of Wu Mengxia. Perhaps you could back up your statement.

I think Luo Laoshi would add: Both you and opponent circling around a common center.

"I know a Shaolin master who pushed a person through a solid concrete wall. He asked the person: "Do you want to end up on the other side of the wall on this floor or upstairs?" You can trust ME, Buddy" Steve, I trust you least of all. To everyone else, I call it that way I see it. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...Now, I appreciate that all of you want to believe in these fanciful things and it's a neat little self congratulatory circle. But Steve thinks Max is a liar and a "vampire". Others of you are with the Verdesi group (are any of them still here?). Some I guess are still with HT (or did the Kunlun folks scare all of them away?). And many of you are with Max Christiansen. I'm not with a group. There are people whose work I admire but I'm not shilling for anyone. Joe, show me where ANY of my objections were inane. You don't like my tone, that's fine. If I were to post, for instance, this particualr video on another board (say Empty Flower, or Shen Wu, or...or...) it's going to get the same reaction that I gave it.
-
"There are various types of immortals, seven types I'm told and definitions get rather involved, lets just say I made it up." I think we can pretty much take Steve at his word by the end of this sentence. And he seems to have conveniently vanished do to it.

"If I had more time to waste I'd do a forum search on 'buddy' and 'prove it'...I'd come up with an amazing number of posts. You could at least phrase it a little different...or something........" I'll try, for you, joe. But so far no one has. "That is not really the best approach to this kind of thing. That mentality keeps you in place. I know this isn't what you want to hear but a better approach is just to just develop yourself and then see what happens for you." Well, this is what is always said. It's always up to the skeptic to "develop themselves" so that I might truly "understand." "People usually are pretty surprised when they do experience these things. This forum is sprinkled with them and our seminars are full of them." So, if I show up at a seminar will Max be able to move me with his power? Or will he be surprised when he can't? Please. I'd be more than willing to show up. When is he in NYC next and tell me I don't have to pay to prove to you that he can't do it. I'm in SE Mass, I can drive there. Or he can show up FOR FREE at one of my seminars in Boston and prove to me that he can do it. That seems fair. "Perhaps you could reverse your thinking and challenge yourself to prove how sensitized you can become." I'm happy to. See the above. Richard--- "You still do not address the numerous proofs as to the physical outcome of beliefs." Proofs? I didn't see any proofs. OR, "Buddy, are saying you'd be happy to let Max give you an orgasm by looking at you? " Well, I don't know that my wife would approve...but what the hell-why not? But that's not going to really happen because A. Max can't do it...and B. They are NEVER going to me close enough to prove that it's bullshit. There's the challenge, folks. Bring Max to me or me to Max. I left it alone for the meantime. But...put your money where your mouth is, Max. PS I'll bring a video camera, or won't it work on digital?
-
He could readily prove it if he could move me in any way.
-
It might be on his site, but I can't use the quicktime there.

Sorry, I don't think it shows that at all. I think it shows how people can be duped into doing silly things because they want to believe. I think it's one thing for instructors to do the so called empty force on their students but it's particularly heinous for these guys to trick unwitting sick people.
-
I agree. Wun, No, I don't believe it for a moment. I'd be more than happy for him to try it on me.

Adolescent? I'm not going to dress up the truth to make it palatable. I get weary of the passive aggressive snideness of some here. I'm making certain certain nobody accuses me of that. When someone suggests that I don't understand because I'm not part of the hive, I take issue. Sorry, it's warts and all.

Jesus was a Jew, Buddha a "Hindu," Muhammad...not Muslim before becoming prophet...and the list goes on.
-
Please feel free to ignore me, "joe." If you like this crap more power to you.
-
That guy was from the Zhang line, not Zhang himself (who is dead). Zhang was a Xingyi man before learning baguazhang so that might influence their stepping.
-
When you suggest that I am "of course, lost", you don't see that as insulting?
-
Ain't that the truth!
-
Well, unfortunately saying it's so don't make it so. Simply putting one's attention on part of one's body can stimulate the circulatory and/or nervous systems. Thereby one call feel sensations caused by those systems. And... "He is of course lost, but we cannot prove he's wrong." ...once again, in what has come to be in typical fashion, you resort to passive/aggressive personal comment. Ah, to be a true believer.
-
But I didn't resort to personal insult like you did. Stop being a keyboard warrior, don't say anything you wouldn't say to my face. You like this silly hokum, great. Just don't expect everyone to swallow it. It's bullshit.
-
I'm glad you liked them. I've posted my teachers elsewhere on the site. But I didn't want this to be about me.
-
No, you've pretty much summed up everything about me, Craig.

here's Derren here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=G18NfN76bAs "So what he does has no bearing on someone experiencing a chi transmission from someone who has no training in NLP." But it does bear on that if someone is suggestible and wants to believe that they are experiencing some sort of transmission--they will feel it. The mind is a funny thing and easily manipulated.

Hi Ian, "Not so. You don't merely not believe, you actively assert that it ain't so." No, I've said I'm agnostic. I don't believe in, for instance, the video of the alleged qi master making folks dance as some sort of viable health practice. I don't believe in magic powers or wizards and sorcerers. But the actual existence of qi, I'm on the fence about. I'm open to it being true but the jury is still out.
