No Food or anything else intended for human OR animal consumption is allowed past customs. :/ I found out the hard way. Thought I was getting an awesome deal on 50lbs of premium silver needle tea, too bad I never got to drink it.. LOL

Be careful ordering tea from china. I ordered $300 worth of silver needle tea, only to have it "disappeared" by customs. Turns out a a new law prevents you from importing food or drink without paying thousands of dollars to do chemical analysis on it.

I don't think cohen is a fraud but I don't find his system effective or useful at all.

The tao of meditation is a book worth buying. It has practical real world training info in the second half of the book.

I've been skimming through the book to find some real training info... seems to deal more with magick and ritual, incantations and mantras.... never really believed in any of that stuff... If anyone here extracts some training info on the meditation and neigong aspects please post away

Just for the record I'm not just stock piling food for hard times, I am about to leave on a 5yr retreat and need it for that also. I plan on growing my own food, herbs etc, canning drying, and scavenging from the wilderness. Through meditation I realized we don't live in a universe we live in a multiverse.... A place where all possible worlds exist to account for each possible choice that can be made. Each second we are alive we are navigating in and out of all these possible worlds via our choices, thoughts and actions. In a literal sense this is karma. Every possible outcome has already happened. every possible world already exists, every possible book has already been written, every possible thought has been conceived, and every action already taken. So in essence this person writing this message right now is a work of fiction, so too the person reading it is also. We build up this character and identify with them, but that isn't who or what we really are. In my personal practice discussion there is a post about my six dimensional theory of reality which goes into the nature of reality as I experienced it more in depth.

Due to the imploding dollar the prices keep rising on this set of dvd's. Right now it is at $90 with shipping. I was wondering if I could round up enough people to split the cost with. If I could find 4 or 5 people interested I would go ahead and buy it. If your interesting in putting in $20 for it let me know. In my personal experience, the only way I am able to begin to feel flows of chi inside my body is by first entering a state of suspended animation. This usually takes 3-4 hours of breath regulation and relaxing to arrive at a state where I feel drunk, heavy, and like I am deep underwater. Sounds outside of me are distant and time is distorted, 30 minutes in this state is really many hours in the outside world. Master Lin of SFQ, Robert Bruce, The book "The Tao of Meditation", and many other styles I have studied all emphasize this state of void, emptiness, suspended animation as the first step.
