Ok, During meditation, I really enjoy the feeling of currents and eddies of euphoric energy I feel flow through me. Anyone else do this when their bored?
-
wow jane I had seen your videos on youtube but I didn't know it was you here from ttb until just now. Very cool stuff. I do not smoke anymore but what I am saying here is not to smoke pot while meditating, but rather induce similar feelings of euphoria while meditating. I can do this and get higher than I did with marijuana via meditation. If nothing else its great for killing time when I am forced to wait.

men better at being thoughtless? hahah so true

Sorry should have clarified trance is not necessary to feel qi, but it amplifies your ability to feel it. I recommend people who can't feel it do trance work first. I think women are more inclined to energy work, and can feel qi flows more easily than men. However men in general have stronger will to stick with things, more passion, and sheer determination. It's more of a tortoise and hair type thing. If a woman put her mind to it she could easily surpass a man in cultivation. Women are more in tune with yin, and have access to an unlimited supply of yang energy. If I could be reborn and keep my knowledge of this life I would choose to be a woman. Not because I am gay but because of the advantages they have in cultivation.

Qi is not hard to feel. You must first be in a deep trance, and then do qi circulation exercises. I highly recommend Robert Bruce's ebook http://www.astraldynamics.com/download/NEW-V2.pdf

Just fyi thats the whole of what I said, I do not view women as evil and men as good. I do not view men as superior to women. The dark side of human nature manifests equally in both men and women, albeit in different ways. I view the majority of our race to be selfish apes who seek only pleasure for themselves and follow their biological directives. Eat, sleep, shit, fuck. Just a bunch of wild shit flinging apes. Some people rise above this level, yes both men and women, and a lot of them are here on the tao bums and similar forums. However the sad truth is 99% of our worlds human population are no better than animals. Welcome to the planet of the apes.

The implications of what are expressed in this video are absolutely mind boggling. That there are two infinities, negative and positive. Each mirror images of one another. Everything that ever is was or could be, and their mirror opposites. If they ever collide then there would be, absolutely nothing.

I think ghosts are tied more towards gravitational energies, infrasonic sound frequencies, and ultraviolet light. I don't think ghosts are related to antimatter.

Could it be because 99.99999% of all the opinions ever posted on here are complete and utter bullshit? Just a thought

Not all, but most. It's odd that all the flaming of Verdesi happens right after his forum goes PPV. More than anything it sounds like sour grapes to me.
-
Sean, I may be stating the obvious but it seems these flame wars, are mostly because of the decision to charge for forum access. Perhaps a better strategy would be to make them free for students, and closed to the public. I think that would hush up a lot of the nay sayers.
-
I am posting this here because my forum account is offline until I can save up the forum fee. This post is meant with the utmost respect. I know that Dr. Verdesi IS legit, and has the top masters in the world, and that surviving as a teacher takes lots of money, as well as your whole foundation. I also see the other side of the coin (no pun intended), of the students who are mostly poor like myself. I realize that you guys are getting a lot of "sour grapes" type flames here on ttb. Mostly from people who cannot afford the prices of in person training. So here is my suggestion to make both sides happy. 1. Create video's of your training seminars. They don't even have to be special, just allow your students to see what others do at the training events (just as if they were there), No fancy menu's etc. ( I suggest individually watermarking the video's so that they are traceable if leaked ) 2. Offer so many minutes of free phone coaching, and email support from your top students, after which there is a fee. 3. Make the students receiving these video's sign a non disclosure agreement, and have them get it notarized, before they can receive anything. This way they are legally bound not to reveal the dvd's to other people or the training they received. 4. Charge $500-1000 per level. 5. Everyone is happy, and you earn at least as much if not more than you did before. More students would be able to participate, and afford your training. Due to the increase in volume of non-traditional students you would earn vastly more, in my opinion. You could do this in addition to your real life classes and seminars, as a form of distance learning. This would give students a way to learn without the high costs of travel and accommodation etc. Many colleges do this form of distance learning and I am convinced it could work for you.

A Suggestion To Sean & Dr. Verdesi On Business Models
mwight replied to mwight's topic in General Discussion
WYG, I would assume the classes verdesi holds are very thorough, I don't think it would be as you assume just forms and clips. I am just suggesting that the lectures be taped, and made available to students who want them as long as they sign Non Disclosure Agreements. I think at least this would solve many issues on both sides, make everyone happy. A true win win situation. -
A Suggestion To Sean & Dr. Verdesi On Business Models
mwight replied to mwight's topic in General Discussion
Well perhaps, I just meant this as a distance learning project. Not as commercial dvd project. Making a good commercial dvd requires hundreds of man hours and planning. Taping a seminar and burning it on dvd doesn't. I have seen several colleges which offer taped video lectures of their classes, and for the most part if your a serious student watching a taped lecture of a real class is just as good as actually being there, as long as you can contact your professor afterwards to ask any questions etc. -
It is my theory that we do indeed live in a multiverse, and not a singular universe. This is also the most accepted interpretations of Quantum Mechanics. It is called the MWI (Many Worlds Interpretation), Hawking is one of the most prominent subscribers to this interpretation. All of these seemingly separate universes, are in fact apart of a larger whole. We navigate through them every moment we are aware. We make choices, decisions, actions, have certain thoughts, etc.. etc.. This is the process of navigating through this field of infinite possibilities. The way we fundamentally view the universe is wrong, just our ancestors believed the earth was flat and the sun revolved around us. Time as we know it does not exist, instead past and future are part of a solid whole of which we only experience the present moment. I liken this to how a dvd works, the laser (your consciousness) reads the data from the disc (your life) resulting in the image being played on the screen (your mind). People who spend huge amounts of time disconnecting themselves from this world, via meditation begin to see this. They understand they really don't have a physical body, and the world outside them is no more real than the data contained inside a dvd. It's kind of hard to keep an ego when you know the nature of this illusion. They learn to gain control of the navigation system (third eye), the remote control for the TV if you will. Lets assume they wish to heal another person, in fact what is occuring is that they are navigating into a reality in which the person is healthy. It looks like a miracle to the outside world but really, all the healer did was change the channel from their perspective. I hear a lot of people claim that we "Create" reality, I disagree. There was nothing to "Create". All possible pasts, and all possible futures already exist, silent and still just waiting to be viewed by an observer. Just as a dvd sits on your shelf waiting to be watched. After all were are merely observers. I think through meditation a lot of people can come to realize this and learn to navigate through the dream a little better. Happy Channel Surfing.

I am curious as to who here has had an OBE? I have had three that I remember, vividly.

Verdesi does have the top masters in the world, however I disagree with his business model. Knowledge was meant to be free, not secret and sold to the highest bidder. Also I think if Verdesi made instructional dvd's for the foundation training, and sold them for $500 (requiring a NDA) he would make MORE than he is now, because it would be available to more people and vastly more affordable. -
Group Re Translation of Taoist Yoga by C. Luk
mwight replied to mwight's topic in General Discussion
Just an update I have the book OCRed to a text file and have been batch replacing some terms. I estimate maybe a month or three on my personal translation to be finished. I may take it further and do a complete rewrite of the book after that. Anyone who can prove they actually own the original book (take a pick of the book next to a current newspaper) is welcome to a copy of my translation when its finished. -

Verdesi has the market cornered, and he knows it. He charges accordingly. Its simple economics. I wonder if he ever achieves enlightenment if he will drop his prices a little. Just a thought. -
I get eyestrain also, I flush my eyes frequently with a weak saline (salt water) solution, and that seems to revitalize them for 20-30 minutes or so. I recommend taking bathroom breaks every 30 minutes to flush your eyes out if they are getting strained. Too much salt, or too little salt will cause your eyes to feel burnt or dried out. If you can get one of those older eye wash bottles that go over your eyes to flush them out, refill it with saline solution. If you can't find one of these any container which would make a good seal around your eye will also work. You can also use a water bottle that has a sport top, to spray saline solution into your eyes but you will make a mess unless over a sink or shower. Make sure you change your water a few times a day, preferably each time if your using it alot and wash it out with soap and warm water when your done at work. This is to make sure you don't get any bacteria build up in your container that could be very bad.

Perhaps the use of infrared light could benefit healing other organs also. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7208768.stm

bad ass profile pic!

the wavelength used was around 1072nm which isn't light and isn't heat, not sure what it is really. It was first used to treat cold sores and wounds as it sped up healing tremendously, it was later found to help regrow all cells. this maybe perhaps a form of yang energy?
