Does the HH Dalai Lama say he currently remembers his past lives? He says he doesn't.
-
I don't trust either you or ralis on the pronunciation.
-
I think both you and ralis need to learn what a dead language means. Oxford Dictionary of Linguistics says: dead language: One that is no longer the native language of any community. Such languages may remain in use, like Latin or Sanskrit, as second or learned (e.g. as liturigical) languages.
-
And what implications are those?
-
Dead language means not spoken by the general population. That's why Latin is considered a dead language, even though the catholic priests speak it etc.
-
lol this is exactly why I said go ask your local Brahmin priests. Sanskrit is a dead language like Latin.

Dalai Lama on the Buddhist Violence in Myanmar

As there is no Creator in any level of Buddhism, Islam and Buddhism are diametrically opposed. -
Is your Buddhism just an ego trip?

Which of the 5 skandhas is ego? I'm not understanding this whole discussion. -
You gotta be pretty much a Buddha to recall true memories of past lives. Even highly reputed lamas don't remember their past lives. Grandiose false memories created by self delusion or "spirit guides" are easier. This is what New Agers do.

Dalai Lama on the Buddhist Violence in Myanmar

Yes its documented historical fact that Muslims decapitated every Buddhist monk they could in India. And they burned all the texts. -
The first book explains sexual yoga in Dzogchen.

Rigpa has 3 wisdoms (aspects) Kadag lhun grub thugs rje When some people say rigpa, they are actually only referring to kadag / treckho.
-
You do realize this is the Buddhist section right? Just because you are throwing in pseudo-Buddhist terminology nowadays, doesn't make your thread relevant. This is where your thread belongs: http://thetaobums.com/forum/15-personal-practice-discussion/

Probably this comment makes sense to you, but it doesn't to me.

You confuse view with practice. If stability of unfabricated presence was the end of the path, Dzogchen would be the same as Zen. Kadag is only 1 out of 3 wisdoms of rigpa.

I agree. Many people pointed out that Krishnamacharya-Iyengar yoga is downright weird with its constant referral to Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. Their type of yoga is really more or less ancient Nath yoga. (Although modern Naths don't practice asanas anymore. Its confusing. )

I said almost the exact same thing previously, so I know where Malcolm is coming from This is what I said previously: "Of course. Naropa had Hindu students etc. There are many christian, jewish Dzogchenpas. Thats why tantric systems are independent. Its not based on an intellectual view. " The problem is that you view intellectual views as "an obstacle, after recognition". Malcolm never said this, and it is a fantasy on your part.

I don't meditate. Meditation is not the Vajrayana way.

You are on the right track. Vajrayana sexual practices are better than meditation. http://www.dharmawheel.net/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=4704&sid=9170ac65f35ea34dd1e72f1cc7d92061

TI has been posting these type of experiences for years on AYP. He is not a Buddhist, nor do these experiences have anything to do with Buddhism.

In Buddhism, karma = intention. http://books.google.com/books?id=jfcNc23bFWgC&pg=PA72&dq=Buddhism+karma+intention&hl=en&sa=X&ei=AjpwUabhK9PC4APVpoCwDQ&ved=0CDcQuwUwAA#v=onepage&q=Buddhism%20karma%20intention&f=false -
The quoted material is from a Tsongkhapa related book. No thanks.

I don't think this is the Buddhist understanding of karma.
