Nah, this the best Madhyamaka book on the market. Nagarjuna and Candrakirti will straighten you out. -

Neoadvaitins don't have the Two Truths of Candrakirti: http://www.dharmawheel.net/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=6423&start=40#p77631 This is a very confusing post, so you have to read it about 20 times to start to get it. But its also the best presentation of the Two Truths of Candrakirti that I know of. -

Tell him to read "Center of the Sunlit Sky" by Karl Brunnholzl -
I've described tummo previously. This is the 3rd time I will say the same thing: Vase breath is not synonymous with tummo, anymore than a clutch is synonymous with a car. There are other Vajrayana techniques that also use vase breath.

Buddhist and Taoist energy cultivation differences

It might be easier to get transmission for qiqong, but.... do you consider the physical routines of qiqong superior to the physical routines of Vajrayana? -

Your guy is just another neoAdvaitin who thinks they are enlightened. Your enlightenment is our day 1 in Vajrayana. Have you not heard of direct introduction? -

Namkhai Norbu - "One of the most important means towards this aim is the practice of kumbhaka, a special method of holding the breath" Namkhai Norbu - "The method for mastering kumbhaka.......a cycle of four for the inhalation, six counts for the closed hold and a cycle of four for the exhalation and empty hold. Then the inhalation remains at one cycle while the closed hold increases to two cycles etc. "

Clear Light of Bliss "holding the vase breath" "holding the vase breath" "holding the vase breath" "stop all inhalation and exhalation" "We remain concentrated like this without breathing until we are to feel discomfort. Then, just before exhaling..." "This entire visualization is done while holding the vase breath. Just before it becomes uncomfortable to hold any longer, we release the breath..." "holding a vase breath" Bliss of Inner Fire "holding the vase breath" "Lama Tsongkhapa says that you should hold the vase breath with strong concentration during all exercises. This is important. If you don't hold your breath during the exercises, you can hurt yourself in various ways." "If someone falls from a great height, such as from a five-story building, they won't die or even be badly hurt if they hold their breath in the correct way." "Do the vase breathing in a reasonable way, holding your breath according to your ability." "There is no point in rushing through them just to get a reputation for doing all five exercises in one breath." "With the third step, while holding the breath" "Hold your breath and tense the upper and lower muscles for as long as you can" "There are various ways to assess your progress in vase breathing. Kagyu practitioners have a method of timing the vase breath in which you.....Being able to do 108 of these while holding a vase breath is considered a sign of great success.....For advanced yogis and yoginis, there is no question of counting; they can hold their breath for an extremely long time." "Finally, we come to the fourth step. When you can no longer comfortably hold your breath, you should exhale through your nostrils"

Dude you don't even understand the difference between karmamudra and kagyu. Seriously get a reality check.

Thats pretty hilarious, since people have specifically said the same thing to you repeatedly.

Ponies a question does it lead to enlightenment?
RongzomFan replied to mewtwo's topic in The Rabbit Hole
It kind of funny, since Catholic priests wrote the magick grimoires like the Lesser Key of Solomon in the first place. http://www.amazon.com/Grimoires-History-Magic-Owen-Davies/dp/0199590044 -
Its a more than nibbana. Arhats are aroused from nibbana, and urged by the Buddhas to take up the Bodhisattva path. Have you not read the Perfection of Wisdom Sutras, Madhyamaka, and Tathagatagarbha Sutras? These are basic Indian texts. All these texts talk about Buddhahood as the goal.

Light body is not nitpicking. Its the point of Vajrayana. Paraphrasing a Sakyapa, 'as long as you have a physical body, you still have work to do'. -

Except, Jesus had a physical body even after his death. Thomas poked him. I haven't heard of Christians traveling around in a light body. -

Whenever I see Malachi, I think of Malachi Martin and the Satan enthronement at the Vatican. -
Its one technique. You take a deep breath, and hold it for as long as possible. You should read the books you cite.

You are not even a Vajrayana pracitioner.
