  1. Bodhisattva vow

    Did you receive Mahamudra transmission?
  2. Bodhisattva vow

Even Buddhahood is not knowable by others. Its impossible to judge realization.
  3. Buddha kept silent about God

Dzogchen is not similar to the the Nikayas. Its totally different.
  4. Buddha kept silent about God

This is non-logical since Buddhism is based on the teachings of many Buddhas such as the Mahasiddhas, Dzogchen tertons etc. Not just Shakyamuni Gautama Buddha.
  5. Buddha kept silent about God

Like zombies? For me, Columbia PhD in Ancient History Richard Carrier convinced me that Jesus never existed. And this video convinced me that Mohammed never existed:
  6. Bodhisattva vow

Vajrayana makes more sense to me. Its simpler.
  7. Bodhisattva vow

Yes you correct in that the bhumis are illusory, as is the path in general. Technically speaking the only difference between you and a Buddha is delusion.
  8. Bodhisattva vow

Yes thats right. Philosophical emptiness is supposed to help in realizing emptiness though.
  9. Bodhisattva vow

Realizing emptiness means you are on the first bhumi, atleast.
  10. Bodhisattva vow

It would exclude both you and I
  11. Bodhisattva vow

That would exclude most bodhisattvas. Understanding Madhyamaka is sufficient for now.
  12. Buddha kept silent about God

Just to clarify. None of the deities or Buddhas in Buddhism are Creators. And non-enlightened deities have a lifespan and get reincarnated.
  13. Bodhisattva vow

    A bodhisattva understands sunyata.
  14. Bodhisattva vow

A bodhisattva is a) anyone who has the aspiration to achieve Buddhahood as fast as possible for the sake of infinite sentient beings, or b ) someone who has achieved that goal (Buddhas are still bodhisattvas). If you have the aspiration, you are a bodhisattva. There are no vows necessary to be a bodhisattva.
  15. Buddha kept silent about God

I would agree that the Perfection of Wisdom Sutras and Madhyamaka are the distilled essence of Shakyamuni's teachings. Mahayana arose in reaction to the crypto-realism of Abhidharma.
  16. Buddha kept silent about God

Why should you care? I don't care about what Shakyamuni taught, and I am a fundamentalist Buddhist.
  17. Buddha kept silent about God

The point is that there are different Buddhas besides Shakyamuni Buddha.
  18. Buddha kept silent about God

You do realize that Vajrayana is Indian right? Practiced in India for hundreds of years?
  19. Buddha kept silent about God

Longchenpa, Chokgyur Lingpa, the Mahasiddhas etc. are all Buddhas. Why do you care about Shakyamuni taught?
  20. Buddha kept silent about God

Again see previous post. Vajrayana is the teaching of the Mahasiddhas, not Shakyamuni Buddha.
  21. Buddha kept silent about God

Vajrayana is based on the teachings of the Mahasiddhas of India......not Shakyamuni Buddha. The Mahasiddhas were Buddhas in their own right.
  22. Starting again from the beginning

Mahayana is a reaction to the crypto-realism of Abhidharma. This is pretty basic.
  23. Starting again from the beginning

    You didn't show anything.
  24. Starting again from the beginning

What assertions are those? What logic are you talking about?
  25. Starting again from the beginning

You don't threaten my faith, since whatever you say doesn't make any sense.
