A novel assertion. But yet again you cite no book. I find this extremely entertaining... Lmfao at YOU dwai. Dig your hole even deeper and keep pretending that your hooves aren't in your mouth.
-
Actually looking at the dates, it does seem to be a coordinated attack
-
Who do you think discovered the Harappan civilization and Ashoka? I'm pretty sure both of these were discoveries by Westerners, off the top of my head.
-
Here is another history book by an Indian. Again primarily Western references. http://books.google.com/books?id=Y1e2V_4Um10C&printsec=frontcover&dq=Burjor+Avari&hl=en&sa=X&ei=_tr0ULWvOurQ0wHFxYCIDw&ved=0CC0Q6AEwAA

No you asserted the superiority of Indian scholarship. And I showed that Indian scholars cite Western scholars. But nice attempt to reframe things.
-
White and Doniger are not even remotely in the same category. Stop the bullshit.
-
Its interesting how every Indian history book on Amazon is spammed with these Hindu fundys complaining about Aryan migrations, or biased Western scholarship.
-
Again no citation or reference for your assertions. I guess a couple of your friends in that Hindu fundy group spammed the Amazon reviews of Kiss of the Yogini? http://www.amazon.com/Kiss-Yogini-Tantric-South-Contexts/product-reviews/0226894843/ref=cm_cr_pr_hist_1?ie=UTF8&filterBy=addOneStar&showViewpoints=0

That implies you have higher worth or knowledge, yet you haven't cited jack shit except a discussion group of fellow Hindu fundys.
-
You slandered David Gordon White (a gold standard scholar) in the typical Hindu fundamentalist fashion.
-
I guess you concede that major Indian authorities cite Western scholars all the fucking time.
-
"European Orientalism profoundly influenced Hindu fundamentalism" http://books.google....ntalism&f=false
-
Dr. Upinder Singh's momentous history book cites Gavin Flood and all sorts of western scholars. Get your head out of your ass dwai. Stop being a weirdo Hindu fundamentalist. http://books.google....nderson&f=false
-
The most ironic thing is that Hindu fundamentalism is a branch of the same European orientalism they claim to abhor.
-
Point to something specific. Thats pretty hilarious. David Gordon White is cited repeatedly by top scholars such as Ronald Davidson, Alexis Sanderson, Gavin Flood and on and on. Obviously your incorrect opinion means nothing to me, but you shouldn't spread false notions to other people.

I used to own various grimoires in the best translation (usually by Joseph Peterson). I used to practice enochian magick and fuck around with the goetia. Then I realized that enochian magick and kaballah (the philosophical basis of the grimoires) were both realist like most other religions and philosophies. http://thetaobums.co...on-is-not-good/

I never made up the meaning of realist. "I do not say that entities do not exist, because I say that they originate in dependence. “So are you a realist then?” I am not, because I am just a proponent of dependent origination. “What sort of nature is it then that you [propound]?” I propound dependent origination. “What is the meaning of dependent origination?” It has the meaning of the lack of a nature and the meaning of nonarising through a nature [of its own]. It has the meaning of the origination of results with a nature similar to that of illusions, mirages, reflections, cities of scent-eaters, magical creations, and dreams. It has the meaning of emptiness and identitylessness." -Candrakirti, translated by Brunnholzl
-
It seems like you are unconsciously falling victim to the reformist Hindu agenda, as described by David Gordon White in Kiss of the Yogini.
-
I still deny he said it. Its a translation.
-
Its a translation.

Except this isn't a quote of ChNN. So no dice.

Why are you buying into Shugden propaganda????

The "center channel" (dbu ma or avadhuti) is the whole arterial system, or more specifically the aorta. The two "side channels" are the venous system (roma or rasanā) and the spinal column and nervous system (rkyang ma or lalanā). A chakra is any place in the body where there are clusters of arteries, veins and nerves. In the practice of tummo, the visualization of lower ends to the three channels is primarily used to focus body awareness in the subnavel area. Khumbaka, mulabandha and uddiyana bandhas force vāyu and ojas into the arterial system. The heart rate slows and the karmic winds suspend. Ojas itself has two stores within the body -- the heart and brain. Thus there is the visualization of blazing and dripping.

You are trying to make things New Ageish again.

My point is that Buddha boiled down karma into something like intention. Although I'm not a specialist in this Hinayana stuff.
