Most atheists are actually realists as well. -

Everything is dependently originated. Thats easy enough to understand. The trick is understanding that dependently originated phenomena never arise in the first place. -

There are more explicit refutations of realism in the Pali Canon, but I would have to find it again. Its somewhere in "Center of the Sunlit Sky"

You don't count as "a whole lot people"

TI, You don't see to be willing to learn about or be initiated into Dzogchen. This Theravadin book suits your inclinations. Its all about mundane psychic abilities and seeing shit. Mindfulness, Bliss, and Beyond by Ajahn Brahm

Seeing through closed eyelids is in OBE/astral projection books at Barnes and Noble.
-
Seeing through closed eyelids is so common, its ridiculous. Go onto lucid dreaming forums. Experienced it many times. You have a grandiose sense of yourself.
-
New Age, Hindu, Theravadin people have clairvoyant visions all the time. I don't see them attaining rainbow body.
-
Your clairvoyant visions etc. have NOTHING to do with kati channel. If it did, anyone who meditated could achieve rainbow body. On any Buddhist forum like Esangha or Dharma Wheel, you would have been banned by now..... P.S. I have the same psychic abilities as you, but I don't go talking about it all the time like a freaking maniac.

Why do I have the feeling you mixed up Tsongkhapa with Kelsang Gyatso (the guy who is shunned for promoting Shugden)? HH Dalai Lama writes from the viewpoint of Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelug school. http://books.google....ved=0CDAQuwUwAA

I read it again. And?
-
TI, Are you part of the Shugden cult now?
-
What does Shugden have to do with anything? I'm so lost at this point.
-
Now you are changing the subject from the rigidity of Malcolm to something else because you know you lost that argument.
-
There is a sequel to this book called "Tibetan Renaissance"
-
This is a great book. I'm surprised someone cited it on this Mara forum.

There was no fight in what I'm reading on page 47 of Cakrasamvara Tantra by Gray. And there are further stories of stealing the girls of the Hindu gods and enjoying sexual yogas pg. 52 or using their corpses for seats pg. 53 Now I don't take these stories literally, but I DO believe Vajrayana masters have subdued the Hindu gods at one point.

One traditional story is Vajrapani killing Shiva and his wife, but then subsequently reviving them by pressing them with his feet (which is extremely insulting in Indian culture).
