  1. Its only unclear, because you refuse to accept the truth. You may have physically bought Flight of the Garuda, but it belongs to Dzogchenpas.
  2. You are just interpreting it in your own New Age way. I think the translation is really referring to dang, rolpa, rtsal.
  3. All of buddhism, even theravada, acknowleges mundane psychic abilities. Anyone can develop these abilities through meditation. See jhanas. Noone acknowledges them as liberative.
  4. Typical pattern since Dharma Wheel. You make some vague New Age statements about energy, and then refuse to explain it. I'll be honest, I don't even think YOU know what YOU mean.
  5. So what happened to this??
  6. Jeff understands I'm sure. It just doesn't fit into his New Age paradigm.
  7. Can you further explain your New Age views? I can see auras, but I certainly don't mix that up or conflate that with Dzogchen.
  8. This is a shell game as Garab Dorje, Padmasambhava, and Vimalamitra etc. are not historical characters, but are rather the manifestations of the terton's own wisdom in a lucid dream, where clarity is 7 times higher. But to play this shell game, Garab Dorje was a nirmanakaya.
  9. Of course one can recognize the instant of unfabricated freshness (ma bcos shes pa skad cig ma) without a Vajrayana transmission. For example, Zen people do this. But recognizing the instant of unfabricated freshness, doesn't make you a Vajrayana or Dzogchen practitioner.
  10. This is indeed the case, whether you accept it or not. I never said you couldn't read it though, as it is an unrestricted book. But to put it into use, requires transmission. Those are the wishes of the tradition. page 10; "The basis of Dzogchen achievement is not attained without initiation; initiation is the function of the lama"
  11. If I'm wrong then all Dzogchenpas are wrong. So I guess you are smarter than all of us. You should email Keith Dowman yourself. You are the one thick as a brick, and always were.
  12. I prefer precise Dzogchen terminology rather than dubious second hand translations. A book in that vein would be "Approaching the Great Perfection" by Sam van Schaik.
  13. Hi "Creation", Please address the fact that Dzogchen termas are revealed directly by Buddhas and are thus divine. Not all scriptures are equal....
  14. Well thats a translation. Those are not ChNN's words.
  15. I guess you have no response to this "Creation". By the way, Malcolm has spoken extensively on tactile sensation and felt sensation in the chakras etc. So its not all about holding your breath.
  16. no response "Creation"?
  17. You are the New Age type that is contaminating us all. Even David Gordon White calls 'nadis' "breath channels" on page 14 of "Yoga in Practice." http://books.google.com/books?id=1ii7D-bR0osC&pg=PA14&dq=david+gordon+white+breath+channels+of+yogic+practice+hevajra+tantra&hl=en&sa=X&ei=hpXKUOf6FIWO0QHBuIHABA&ved=0CDQQuwUwAA#v=onepage&q=david%20gordon%20white%20breath%20channels%20of%20yogic%20practice%20hevajra%20tantra&f=false
  18. Like I said above, read even Hindu ancient tantric texts. Malcolm is 100% right.
  19. "have been unwittingly influenced by new age concepts about channels, cakras and so on." Malcolm is talking about how New Age concepts are nothing like Indian concepts. And he is right. If you read "Khecharividya of Adinatha", "The Hundred Verses of Goraksa", books by David Gordon White etc., you will see Malcolm is right.
  20. Why are asking Jeff, who is now pissing off Malcolm and everyone on a different forum? LOL You can read this thread: http://www.dharmawhe...php?f=40&t=3979 You are way out in left field. Malcolm, on Esangha, would frequently say statements like 'The sooner people realize Vajrayana is all about working with the body's channels, the better.' Thats a paraphrase from my memory.
  21. page 9: "The Starting Point: Initiation" page 10: "The answer is initiation, initiation by direct introduction to the nature of the mind."
  22. Well yes, you are actually somewhat correct. Some Zen people may have recognized the instant of unfabricated freshness (ma bcos shes pa skad cig ma). But like you say, this would only be 1 out of the 3 wisdoms of rigpa.
