  1. What ARE you talking about
  2. The Flight of Garuda is for those with transmission. I'm pretty sure Keith Dowman says that in the introduction.
  3. What the heck is energy and light? I can somewhat understand the energy part, but that would be anuyoga/HYT completion stage, not Dzogchen.
  4. Out of all the Buddhist Wikipedia pages, that page is among the worst. Where is the reference for: "Kundalini is etymologically linked to candalī. Kundalini and tummo are the same thing, but not because the word kundalini is etymologically linked to candali, because it isn't. The Dzogchen pages are alright though.
  5. Dzogchen transmission is free. Just click on this link at the scheduled time. No need to log in. http://www.shangshun...bcast/video.php
  6. Feels like Death -shamatha before bed

This is a complete non sequitur. What does this have to do with shamatha not being Dzogchen?? If you are confusing the most preliminary Buddhist practice (shamatha) with the highest Buddhist teaching (Dzogchen), thats a problem.
  7. Feels like Death -shamatha before bed

You do realize shamatha is not Dzogchen right?? Start listening to Alan Wallace at 1:25 "not Vajrayana. Not Dzogchen."
  8. Feels like Death -shamatha before bed

Yes I'm a believer in karmamudra, although I don't have the empowerments to actually test it out. Meditation is just contrived and conceptual, from the Vajrayana point of view, even if the conceptuality is subtle.
  9. Feels like Death -shamatha before bed

At the most Ramana or Tolle recognized the nature of the mind. That is not considered the end of the path. In fact, thats just the beginning. And Buddha was held to have engaged in karmamudra in the tantric tradition. He did karmamudra with Sujata at the bodhi tree. http://books.google....mamudra&f=false
  10. Feels like Death -shamatha before bed

Again sounds like a meditative altered state. real nirvikalpa samadhi is attained through karmamudra. http://www.dharmawheel.net/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=4704
  11. Buddha vs Mara short video

    Malcolm still posts here: http://www.vajracakra.com/search.php?keywords=&terms=all&author=Malcolm&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search
  12. Buddha vs Mara short video

Even the mods on Dhamma Wheel bash the guy who runs that
  13. Buddha vs Mara short video

Karl Brunnoholz translates Pali Canon passages using identity for atman
  14. Buddha vs Mara short video

I am not sure thats the case. What does it mean to say a table lacks "self"?
  15. Buddha vs Mara short video

He was tired of repeating the same things over and over again. And he's got better things to do.
  16. Buddha vs Mara short video

I think that post is abundantly clear in itself. The post is also an excellent explanation of the Two Truths from Candrakriti, although you have to read it about 100 times before it sinks in.
  17. Buddha vs Mara short video

No thanks. 99.9% of the world's philosophy is realist.
  18. Buddha vs Mara short video

Well he actually does: http://www.dharmawhe...start=40#p77631 Encyclopedia Britannica And as you know Namkhai Norbu has translators that write for him. That passage you cited was translated TWICE, into Italian by Adriano Clemente and into English by John Shane.
  19. Buddha vs Mara short video

Its not complicated. You are just a bundle of 5 aggregates.
  20. Buddha vs Mara short video

Its funny you cite a Wikipedia page that is specifically labelled as crap in the top banner
  21. Buddha vs Mara short video

Buddhism - lacks the identity (atman) imputed by mere conceptual labels Advaita Vedanta - identity is actually Brahman
  22. Buddha vs Mara short video

self" is like Intel 486. Old and outdated. Loppon Malcolm, Allan Wallace etc. uses the word identity, and so does everyone else nowadays.
  23. DD

I will stick to the biography of Dudjom Lingpa or Chokgyur Lingpa or Dudjom Rinpoche.
  24. I don't think he even mentions nonarising once. If you read the Madhyamaka texts themselves, thats the main emphasis. He is just parroting the Tsongkhapa view of emptiness being lacking inherent existence. Stick to the original Indian authors.
  25. I may have created a Tulpa...

Next, create for yourself a sexy tulpa. Thats what I would do.
