  1. You either know about the instant of unfabricated freshness [ma bcos shes pa skad cig ma] and the conceptualizing mind. Or you don't.
  2. For the love of "god", no more of this Thusness crap. I've exposed him as a fraud.
  3. Again with the rituals? You have no idea what Tibetan Buddhism is about. Just admit it.
  4. If Simple Jack quotes another website, I might lose it.
  5. Also, keep in mind there is no fundamental difference between a human and a Buddha.
  6. Yes. A recent example was KDL.
  7. I think its some zen bullshit. I follow the Indo-Tibetan tradition, rather than the china / jap crap.
  8. Don't get me started on Shentong
  9. Because those websites are trash.
  10. Instead of reading websites, you could read the original Indian Madhyamaka authors.
  11. Madhyamaka: Nonarising because of dependent origination Advaita Vedanta: Nonarising because Brahman Dzogchen Upadesha : Nonarising because of the _________ (secret stuff).
  12. Illusion-like is wrong. Its all an illusion. Nagarjuna and sons are pretty clear about this, if anyone cares to read the original Indian texts.
  13. What do you mean by nonduality? There is the realist like Kashmir Saivism. There is the nonrealist like Madhyamaka etc. Or do you mean the nature of the mind? Vajrayana is about direct introduction to one's nature and working with the body to gain omniscient Buddhahood. I hope this myth of rituals dies one day.
  14. I don't know about exclusively. But Malcolm did say it more than once. I actually brought this specific example up to Malcolm, and he said I was being too conceptual about these things. I know in general Malcolm says that one's own wisdom takes the form of deities and dakinis. He has been saying that repeatedly since Esangha.
  15. There is a word already: Illusory / illusion
  16. Vajra Sliver Reasoning on why one cannot claim anything exists: http://books.google.com/books?id=8zeh8VAFCvAC&pg=PA238&dq=vajra+is+indestructible+Center+of+the+Sunlit+sky&hl=en&sa=X&ei=6_iWUKuCGMb40gHN5IHQBQ&ved=0CCwQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q&f=false
  17. All that stuff can happen in a dream. Research the "vajra sliver" reasoning.
  18. I mean it in the sense of existence. One cannot claim anything exists.
  19. I'm pretty sure, all three of those claim things exist.
  20. Buddhas are not Creators. And maybe this is ad hominem, but Pure Lands are merely bardo experiences according to a Sakya Loppon.
  21. Atman = identity. Thats how Karl Brunnholzl translates it in "Center of the Sunlit Sky" for just one example. P.S. Studying Buddhism or Hinduism on Wikipedia is a joke. No wonder you are confused.
  22. Buddhas of aynak

  23. Every other path besides Buddhism is 'realist'.
  24. Right but these gods have a lifespan and die. So they are not gods really. Certainly not "Creators".
  25. atman means identity. If you know that, then all the buddhist and hindu texts become clear.
