the main hermit practice is to abide in the natural state

Bon came after Buddhism

Can we PLEASE limit this thread to Robert Bruce's take on kundalini? Thats why I started it.
-
Namdrol told me, that if a practitioner obtained like sixth, seventh eithth bhumi because their channels were modified by tummo, when they become a Dzogchen practitioner, the visions would start from scratch but go fast.
-
People may obtain a body of light in other traditions and not be a buddha, but if they obtain it via thogal, they are a buddha.
-
My understanding is that the speed of thogal is based on the configuration of the channels etc. in the body. Raising kundalini once would allow one to complete the four visions before death. P.S. If you obtain rainbow body you are a buddha. To say anything different is heretical and really invalidates anything you else have to say.

Is the path the following? Preparation: Say once "I go for refuge to the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. By the merit I primordially have by abiding in the natural state, may I attain perfect Buddhahood to benefit infinite sentient beings." Step 1. Realize nature of mind using Dzogchen or Hinduism http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dzogchen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaivism Step 2. Raise kundalini http://www.forums.astraldynamics.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2602 Step 3. Practice thogal till rainbow body is obtained http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dzogchen#Rigpa_and_Rainbow_Body

Yes I understand your position. I just don't believe in it. Why? Because in the buddhist texts, even those that have experienced rigpa may not become liberated. They all say the best is to achieve Buddhahood while alive.
-
I don't believe in shaktipat. Where did this stuff come from? I have never come across it in the texts I read.
-
Only one priest knew about kundalini, and he was a young guy like me. I asked about 7.
-
Anyway real kundalini is something that spirals up from the perineum till it hits the crown. Even the ancient texts talk about perineum specifically.
-
I have never seen kundalini worshiped. Even most priests have never heard of kundalini. I am Indian by the way.
-
It is a very good book It covers kundalini in addition to kechari
-
nice stuff there, except none of that is true. You should read Khecarividya of Adinatha by James Mallinson.
-
Wow you really need to look yourself in the mirror. You should take your own advice.
-
Buddhists and Hindus share the same 84 Mahasiddhas. Shit, some of them like Gorakshanath and Matsyendranath are veritable kundalini masters
-
My understanding is the Mahasiddhas, who are famed for attaining enlightenment the quickest used kundalini. Yes kundalini. In buddhism.
-
Chakras are not visualized. When you feel in an emotion you will FEEL them in your body's chakras. There is nothing imaginary about it.
-
How do you know? By the way, who is suggesting kundalini is an intelligent force? Kundalini raises when the chakras are manipulated correctly, as described by Robert Bruce.
-
I am in contact with ACADEMICS (Ph.D's in eastern studies) who have written about what traditional kundalini is all about using the oldest texts we have available in critical translation. Robert Bruce's account is the closest by far to what the traditional understanding of kundalini is. Now what YOU are describing is based on Carl Jung's nonsense theories. Hardly traditional.....

Not every energy movement is kundalini. High energy events often suck energy up the legs. http://www.astraldynamics.com/home/healing/heart-center-healing.html

I thought you were sarcastic at first, but then I clicked on your link. Good Stuff!
-
According to Robert Bruce, unless one has experienced a fist sized very physical "thing" go up your perineum, sloshing your internal organs around, experience the brow strobe flash etc., you have NOT experienced kundalini. Not every energy movement is kundalini. So called "masters" don't know shit about kundalini.

Vase breath is the same as kumbhaka. I mentioned that. Reread what I wrote.
