I suggest medical help, exercise, and minimization of tv. Take a break from the internet and go on a jog. -

I am not omniscient I can only know my mindstream. You might want to seek medical help. My friends are quite happy and active. Minimize your tv content, and go to the gym, is what I would suggest along with medical help. -

I am talking about the table near the top of the page Vast majority of your food insecure people were WITHOUT hunger. Even under the new terminology, it says "no indication of reduced food intake" -

It was defined here BY THE GOVERNMENT, specifically WITHOUT hunger http://www.ers.usda.gov/briefing/foodsecurity/labels.htm The old label was "Food insecurity without hunger" -

"Low Food Security: This term replaces “Food Insecurity without Hunger.” Generally, people that fall into this category have had to make changes in the quality or the quantity of their food in order to deal with a limited budget. " BOOO HOOO. They had to make "changes" to the way they eat. WAAAAHHH Atleast they have something to eat!. -

Even from your biased source, it is very clear the majority of these people have something to eat. They are just limited in choices. -

There is a good documentary on our amazing food system. It is called Food Inc. Our corporations do an amazing job to feed our exploding population. Our food to salary ratio is amazing compared to everyone else. Tyson, Cargill, Swift should be commended, not demonized. -

don't care as long as American middle class lifestyles as defined by sociology are preserved -

Some corporations should be given the Nobel Peace prize and the thanks of a grateful humanity, not the jealous scorn of left wing idiots. As long as the majority of Americans live middle class lifestyles as defined by sociology, I don't give a flying fuck who controls politics, even if it is corporations. -

Since you feel "insecure", go to a psychiatrist. Don't take it out on everyone here. Atleast not on me please. Your personal situation is not applicable to this thread -

I already addressed this. As long as the majority of Americans live middle class lifestyles as defined by sociology, I don't give a flying fuck who controls politics. As far as I am concerned we should thank the corporations for their leadership in maintaining our middle class lifestyles. The middle class lifestyles are derived from corporations. -

Honestly, you have REAL mental problems. This doesn't make any sense. Stop watching TV! Is someone forcing you to watch TV? -

My formal education in economics, sociology and history probably is greater than anyone else's here. Also I have lived in various places in Europe and Asia. -

There is NO way you are a critical thinker. You honestly think ALL immigrants are illegal Mexicans, and based your entire argument on this. And when I corrected you...surprise surprise...no response. -

I don't know about Vortex, but I have already totally demolished your main argument about evil corporations controlling America. Got anything else? Again, I say, let the corporations keep doing a "terrible job" as long as the majority of Americans keep their middle class lifestyles. -

I am glad, someone had the sense to ban GIH. He is always wrong about the points he makes, and when I correct him he never responds GIH, you have more leeway to insult people if you are RIGHT -

Travel around Asia, and see just how much food is a luxury, especially meat. Thats why I don't like staying with certain relatives in Asia. They can only afford meat once a week...if that. Tyson, Cargill, Swift....these corporations should be given the Nobel Peace Prize and the thanks of a grateful humanity. -

I don't have a problem with corporations. Corporations gave us all the good things in life, including cheap meat. Who else is going to keep food production up with population growth? If anything you should be on your hands and knees thanking corporations for our food supply. Only a handful of companies make most of the food. And they do a damn good job. -
