Are the writings of John Levy higher than translations of medieval Advaita Vedanta? http://www.amazon.com/The-Essential-Vedanta-Treasures-Religions/dp/0941532526

I think the whole point is that Advaita Vedanta is a rip off of Madhyamaka.

People are nothing more than incarnations of ignorance.
-
Lmao gatito. you are just like james schwartz, anadi, jeff foster etc.

If everything is self, hop into my body right now
-
Rebirth in all Dharma, Hindu, Jain, Buddhism etc., traces to ignorance. Only New Agers think rebirth is good.

I have noticed a lot of internet Buddhist realists (Buddhist definition).

The ultimate Shakti ritual is sitting on a corpse on a new moon and calling Tara etc. The goddess immediately comes. In Wellsprings of the Great Perfection Sri Singha is seated upon "a celestial Vishnu stripped naked". So is this the same thing?

Advaita Vedanta is just a plaigarism of Buddhadharma. Read The Method of Early Advaita Vedānta by Michael Comans. And for Simple_Jack: http://www.dharmawheel.net/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=8318&p=102251#p102251

Self is not the aggregates, because the aggregates are plural, yet self is singular. Also we say "my body" which indicates possession of the aggregates by self. But if the self is something other than the aggregates, you should be able to observe that the self and aggregates are completely distinct and have no relationship. But in actuality they occur together. In the end, self is not established.

The problems only come in when you read Tibetan shit like Tsongkhapa, Mipham etc. If you have to pick a Tibetan view, Rongzom is the best by far.

Every Neoadvaitin, like James Swartz, Jeff Foster, Anadi etc., think all the other Neoadvaitins and Buddhists don't "get it".
-
yo just read Indian Madhyamaka texts. They are self-explanatory.
-
Ah yes, secrets.
-
Well obviously there is a lot of emphasis in Vajrayana on practicing in funerary grounds. But I'm trying to find out about sitting directly on a corpse.
-
You are the bear on the right.
-
Yes, we all know every NeoAdvaitin thinks they are the second coming of Jesus. I've been saying it for years.
-
So basically you got no reasoning.
-
That's called Neovedanta, not to be confused with Neoadvaita. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neo-Vedanta

"I" is just a concept.
