Qigong For Weightlifting? More Effective Than Steroids?
RongzomFan replied to mwight's topic in General Discussion
Squat all the way to the ground before worrying about stuff like qigong. I see people in the gym doing 1/8 squats. LMAO. -

I am not opposed to the notion that something like Kundalini is in the Bible. However, the person making that argument should stick with the Bible. If the concept is really there, then that should be sufficient.- 106 replies

West has long history of stealing Indian concepts. Research Rajiv Malhotra's U turn theory. If the Bible really has something like Kundalini, you wouldn't need to use the word Kundalini.- 106 replies

Its funny you Neoadvaitins think self-inquiry is profound, when its just a muddled version of Chandrakirti's Madhyamakavatara, a preliminary sutra level teaching.

If something like Kundalini is really in the Bible as you say, then you should be able to sustain that without referring to Kundalini.- 106 replies

What you call Direct Path doesn't have direct introduction. Not very "direct" is it?

The point is that your teachings don't have direct introduction like Mahamudra.
-
I don't think you understand what direct introduction is. Your favorite guy Ramana, never gave direct introduction.
-
The point is that Vedanta / NeoAdvaita / Direct Path does not have direct introduction like Mahamudra.
-
Neoadvaita is a recognized term. Direct Path is not.
-
Ramana is Neoadvaita http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neo-Advaita
-
All the Neoadvaitins criticize each other. Jeff Foster and Anadi come to mind. James Swartz is yet another Neoadvaitin.

Well that's good you keep Holy Spirit and Kundalini separate. Blaspheming against the Holy Spirit is the only unpardonable sin.- 106 replies

If I found Buddhadharma when I was younger, then maybe it is possible. I am aiming for liberation in the bardo.
-
So without direct introduction, after many years the poor neoadvaitin finally recognizes unfabricated presence vs the conceptualizing mind. Then what?
-
Well without direct introduction, you got nothing.
-
Just like you don't believe in Tibetan Buddhism, I don't believe in your Consciousness Neoadvaita stuff. I am familiar with Neoadvaita, since I am a former neoadvaitin.

The rules of transmission, samaya etc. are from the primordial termas. There is no native context. These things are not made by man.
