  1. east and west together

There is no Western path. That's what I'm trying to tell you.
  2. east and west together

Nope. He made up an entirely different ritual from his own mind. Not even close to Abramelin.
  3. east and west together

Dedicate 18 months of your life to find out.
  4. east and west together

Yeah that's this book: http://www.amazon.com/Book-Abramelin-New-Translation/dp/089254127X/ Good luck trying to get that to work. Noone has ever done it.
  5. east and west together

Absolutely not. You have to understand many grimoires were written by Catholic priests, working within the Catholic worldview. Here are some of the top grimoires by the best translator around: http://www.esotericarchives.com/books.htm None of this leads to enlightenment, or is meant to lead to enlightenment. The Lesser Key has standard Jesus salvation prayers in one of the books. The Goetia assumes the reader is a Catholic priest. Enochian magick is also squarely in the Christian worldview. You might as well say Sarah Palin is on the path to enlightenment.

Yup its all about meditative visions. Just like Ajahn Brahm's Mindfulness, Bliss, and Beyond.

ChNN uses the eye analogy elsewhere as well. If you open up your eyes even a little, you see everything. I take this to mean you either recognize or you don't. There is no middle ground.
  8. Meditating in a graveyard

He has his own unique and different views on things, apart from the mainstream.
  9. Meditating in a graveyard

    I don't believe in Tsongkhapa.

no no no You recognize X (whatever you want to call it). Then you can rest in that knowledge.
  11. The Highest Level Of Immortality

Yes that's pretty standard. For example whenever the 9 yanas of Nyingma are presented, the lower 8 yanas are criticized. Dudjom Rinpoche trashes the lower 8 Nyingma yanas: "The eight lower levels have intellectually fabricated and contrived that which is changeless solely due to fleeting thoughts that never experience what truly is. They apply antidotes to and reject that which is not to be rejected. They refer to as flawed that in which there is nothing to be purified, with a mind that desires purification. They have created division with respect to that which cannot be obtained by their hopes and fears that it can be obtained elsewhere. And they have obscured wisdom, which is naturally present, by their efforts in respect to that which is free from effort and free from needing to be accomplished. Therefore, they have had no chance to make contact with genuine, ultimate reality as it is (rnal ma'i de kho na nyid)." Detailed criticism of each of the lower 8 yanas is available in Dudjom Rinpoche's big red book, among other places.

Whatever you want to call it, its definitely recognize, not realize.

    nevermind. I was confused.

Sure. The sutrayana approach is by reading text. For example Zen. In certain teachings of Vajrayana the approach is direct introduction and rushan.

I think "natural state" is a complete newbie term. I've never seen Loppon Malcolm use it for example. He talks about recognizing the instant of unfabricated awareness (ma bcos shes pa skad cig ma).

According to Dudjom Rinpoche and others you are supposed to recognize the "fourth time" as opposed to the conceptualizing mind (i.e. the three times). Here is one public reference: http://books.google.com/books?id=E8C3_VZr-QsC&pg=PA168&dq=dzogchen+fourth+time&hl=en&sa=X&ei=6SdkUrVI69zgA_OlgagP&ved=0CDEQuwUwAA#v=onepage&q=dzogchen%20fourth%20time&f=false
  17. Meditating in a graveyard

That's just Tsongkhapa in my profile picture.
  18. The Highest Level Of Immortality

Its in your own quote genius. How many times do I have to say it?
  19. The Highest Level Of Immortality

TI, The problem is that you seem not to understand basic English because you mix in all your own weird views. This is like when you said the Dalai Lama dropped Tsongkhapa all over again.
  20. Before Shaolin there was India.

Chinese emperors used to have Tibetan lamas.
  21. Before Shaolin there was India.

It was at one point. When Indian culture spread over Asia, it took the dominant Indian religion at the time, Buddhism along with Ayurveda etc. India is the guru country of Asia.
  22. Before Shaolin there was India.

    Is that guaranteed in stone?
  23. Name request change

    I have no idea
  24. Before Shaolin there was India.

Does someone need to invent fighting? Even little kids fight without being taught.
