Bon is not same as Dzogchen. Bon includes sutra, tantra, Dzogchen etc. Don't waste my time with your typical bullshit misunderstandings.

Ramana Quote does not belong in CN Norbu's latest book

I am not representative of the Buddhist population. My specific Andhra people came up with Mahayana in the first place. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andhra_Pradesh#Early_history And then Andhra continued to be a strong site of Mahayana/Vajrayana for a thousand years, according to Ronald Davidson. -
Does anyone have practical first hand experience with urethral suction practice?

I don't think Swamis are an authority on anything, except bullshit.
-
Here is the thing. Kundalini is from the tantric traditions. Technically speaking, a Swami is not an authority.

Indian Esoteric Buddhism by Ronald Davidson talks alot about funerary ground subculture of both Hinduism and Buddhism.

The whole Madhyamakavatara is about I thought
-
I only quoted a bit of Candrakirti. You can read the rest in Madhyamakavatara.
-
Its there, buts its extremely preliminary. And what you quoted is more like rushan i.e. recognizing the conceptualizing mind. Ramana never taught anything similar to what you quoted.
-
I don't think Ramana gave any sort of direct introduction.
-
Ramana's self-inquiry is the equivalent of newbie CandrakÄ«rti's chariot analysis. CandrakÄ«rti, in ''MadhyamakÄvatÄra'' VI.151., comments: "It is not asserted that a chariot is something other than its parts. It is not something that is not other, nor does it possess them. It does not exist in the parts, nor do the parts exist in it. It is neither their mere collection nor the shapeāthus is the analogy." Its certainly not a direct introduction to the "fourth time", as Dudjom Rinpoche puts it.

Title of the thread always said "Mystical Buddhist Readings".

C.A. Muses is utter crap. And this thread is about MYSTICAL books
-
You can refer to Gavin Flood's Tantric Body page 34. As you know Gavin Flood is arguably the top Hinduism scholar in the world, apart from Saiva specialists, yoga specialists etc.
-
Except, who destroyed all the genuine tantric lineages? It was Islam. I have an academic reference if you like. So if dubious Swamis are a problem, Abrahamic religions are to blame.
-
Christians are liars. For example in India, they make up this whole bullshit myth about St. Thomas, the apostle to convert people. This is a myth that no one accepts in the west, not even Christians.
-
Dude, rainbow body is a central Tibetan Buddhism concept. Its discussed everywhere in Tibetan Buddhism studies published by universities. I only provided one example. But you are the one who wanted academic references
