universal mind is just some New Age stuff.
-
The point is sexual bliss is generated by the body and not the mind.
-
Right speech is only Hinayana. Tantric sexual bliss is not mental. That's the whole point.
-
Jhanas are contrived conceptual meditative states.
-
Yes. Jhanas have nothing to do with tantric sexual bliss.
-
Again its not entrenched in Indian culture. That's the whole point. Gang rape is entrenched in western culture. 25% of American rapes are gang rapes according to Wikipedia. I already posted several examples of American gang rape.
-
Its an academic fact that the British are responsible for the caste system and dowry. These are not Indian scholars saying that. These are western scholars at Ivy League universities. Correct. That's bullshit. And most rapes are unreported in America as well. Regardless America has a much higher rape and gang rape level. More bullshit. By the way, here is a judge in America blaming the victim getting raped. http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2013/08/29/montana_judge_rape_comments_montana_district_judge_g_todd_baugh_apologizes.html More bullshit. This really shows your ignorance. India is neither conservative or third world.

Which spiritual teaching were you following that says you can't weight train? Scientology? Spiritual ignorance has nothing to do with how many degrees you have. Are you saying sensual desire is good or bad?
-
Buddha taught Hinayana, where jhanas are important. Mahasiddhas taught Vajrayana, where sexual bliss is superior.
-
I like this thread on the inferiority of the jhanas compared to sexual bliss http://www.dharmawheel.net/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=4704&start=0

Buddhas gurus were Sramanic, not vedic as far as I know.

Why do we have such a hard time remembering our "dreams"? Shall we put effort into remembering? What benefit?

Wow, that's a lot of gang rapes in America! "some of the twenty men who gang-raped an 11-year-old in Cleveland, Texas, were sentenced in November, while the instigator of the gang rape of a 16-year-old in Richmond, California, was sentenced in October, and four men who gang-raped a 15-year-old near New Orleans were sentenced in April, though the six men who gang-raped a 14-year-old in Chicago last fall are still at large. Not that I actually went out looking for incidents: they’re everywhere in the news, though no one adds them up and indicates that there might actually be a pattern." Then when you add the massive one that just occurred in Delaware, we can conclude that the media has an agenda in publicizing Indian gang rapes, and minimizing American gang rapes.

And Rongzom trashed all of Madhyamaka. Rongzom said that while sutra subscribes to the 2 truths, the better tantric view subscribes to 1 truth. http://www.amazon.com/Establishing-Appearances-Divine-Reasoning-Madhyamaka/dp/1559392886- 117 replies

First off, I'm not the one disregarding Alan Wallace.
