Yeah...except for one little thing, which has little to do with sex, imo, and that is Power. If your boss (male or female) asks you to do something (sexual or otherwise) that you really don't want to do, the first thing in your head is a version of "ok... do i do it anyway? or do i risk my job by refusing?" So... by choosing neither of the two options (to save the scorpion or not)... the outcome from my 'not choosing' might turn out to bring me joy or sorrow, but both joy and sorrow are temporal and temporary. The scorpion would drown; I would go about my day and whatever comes, comes.

Without derailing the thread, may I ask you if the empires you are familiar with used economics as the basis of their power? That might not be worded right. ralis, good morning IMO, the political system is corrupt across the board; both sides. What I like about Trump is that he is so obviously not a political hack - cause if he was, he'd know that half the shit that comes out of his mouth would bury him. It's becoming more obvious (and likely, imo) that the ship is going down, regardless of who is at the helm, and having a non-politician holding the rudder wont stop that but it does have a degree of entertainment value...and no, Trump's behavior doesn't bother me in the least, sexual or otherwise. Regarding Moore's behavior? Honestly, I hope he did do what the women are claiming he did. Because if he didn't ? And it's all a bullshit political set-up? Then this ship will sink faster and deeper than even you could imagine - and I'm sure you can see why and how that could happen. I hold no opinion or judgement on Moore's actions, whatever they were or weren't, nor do I need to. Not my circus, not my clowns. YMMV.

Here is a little zen story, as a gift, for allinone: Two monks were washing their bowls in the river when they noticed a scorpion that was drowning. One monk immediately scooped it up and set it upon the bank. In the process he was stung. He went back to washing his bowl and again the scorpion fell in. The monk saved the scorpion and was again stung. The other monk asked him, "Friend, why do you continue to save the scorpion when you know it's nature is to sting?" Now...unlike the second monk, my nature is not to 'save' others, scorpion or not lol, but rather to let people be who they are without needing to change them. My being a Mod is a practice in balance for me...as sometimes it seems I'm forced to enforce rules that appear to push folks in a direction away from their nature. I can do that, though, because I truly believe that everyone has love at the center of their true nature...and sometimes they just stray away from that. On the other hand, if someone's true nature actually is scorpion-like, I hope that second monk is around for them, cause I'll just watch it drown.
