  8. Taoist Philosophy - Chapter 75

Yep. When it's available I use 'rene' in forums; primarily because it's my name and therefore one of the few things I can still remember. Usually. ***** 3deedit, tkx & greetz (-:

Thanks for clarifying your ideas. My path doesn't concern itself with 'mind'; instead finding only the usefulness or non-usefulness of this or that - and I find discrimination to be rather useful when deciding if that left-over salmon in the fridge is too far gone. warmest regards

Make up your mind. We each understand these things according to our own natures. That our perspectives are different is natural; I like that we each have our own way. (-: warm regards
  13. Power

Yep. And, if memory serves, your mouse effectivly neutered a few of the guru persuasion. Fun times, there, then. Fun to be had here, now, methinks.

Under his feet. And yours, and mine. Subscribing to the concept that there is only non-dual is no less effectively ignoring half of the whole than ignoring the non-dual aspect would be. Understanding the nature of the whole as being simultaneously both boundaried and unboundaried is not complicated, as long as one is open to the possibility. warm regards

Thanks for sharing that. The Lakota also have some pretty powerful animal stories, as do most of the Nations. Nice to see you again, btw. I still recall your post from years ago about mouse Te. (-:

I settle for crumbs. Their taste reminds me of home, I am again full.
  17. Tao te Ching brings not wisdom, people do

Manitou, hi The Laozi is wonderful, isn't it. (-: For me, the first chapter nails it and the rest of the chapters are delightful elaborations; yet it seems there is something for everyone! warm regards
  18. Tao te Ching brings not wisdom, people do

Agree. No need to cross the same river twice, even if it could be done. (-:

  22. euthanasia [not youth in asia]

The greatest gift we can give to our beloved friends, is to accept the pain of loss so their suffering ends. I held our little guy in my arms while the vet put him down; it was a good and peaceful death for him. I have no problem with death, death is natural. I have a real problem with animals suffering. If ending their suffering brings me bad karma, then screw karma; bring it on.
