quiet damnit. you're going to blow my $471,250 finders fee.

So.. if your group wins a 10 million dollar lottery, figure 35% goes to taxes. The rest 6.5 million goes to Sean to buy this site and create a win win situation of no more Mo Pai discussions here. A worthy dream. When that glorious day comes (& Sean gives me my 7.25% finders fee) What will you do with all the extra time you'll have? The new sense of lightness that comes with not having to answer stupid questions. What will you do?

There's cold showers and then there's the Wim Hof method. A hard 10 week program that has challenging breath regime, ie long retention holds after fast breathing, resulting a mind/body hack where you come face to face with will power and mortality. It involves cold adaption, increasingly longer cold showers. Facing pain, the 2nd program starts pretty quickly w/ putting your hand in ice water for increasingly longer times. Doing a hard program requiring daily discipline might act as a substitute for a bad habit. The fact that the program involves cold showers is a plus. Information is all over the place. https://www.wimhofmethod.com/ It's doable but hard, with many internal and external lessons.

I'll take this one.. I haven't even started beating my wife yet. I fear its too late to begin, after 25 years she knows all my tricks and would probably get the better of me.

For most, chastity is hard and can lead to problems and/ or addiction. Finding a disciplined schedule for release can lead to a more even keel.

out of curiosity.. Do you mean that for others? Or including yourself? Everyone? tell you what, when I, either violently overthrow Sean or am elected king of TB's I will institute a moratorium on Mo Pai discussion! further I'll create a purge, the likes of which this board has never seen. One so thorough that it'll be a blog for myself. Plus even I won't be allowed to write every day.

I was reading to hire a professional Spam group to spread disinformation/insults costs $50 per page generated, for professionals. So in some ways the MPG group has generated over $1,500 of insults to there art. This is/was totally predictable. They could pay there hard earned money to Russian or Korean spammers but instead create the conditions where its done for free. Is there some some mad masochistic genius there? I suspect they'll go for another $1500 or so of insulting pages before giving up or changing strategies. Megamind is there a possible better strategy here? Just spitballing but maybe have someone else come on, talk about the art but don't use the name or JC videos. Discuss it like any other art. Without putting down others. Write about benefits and experiences, then in 6 months or a year bum bum buh- it was Mo Pai all along!! Or if being here gets you street creds w the wmp group fine but its probably not good for you or this board.

never said it was. I'm surprised you could even volunteer that much. Isn't that giving out too much information?

I started out with breathing and sitting. Where I think basic and comparative study of any cultivation art should begin. There's a world of depth in both. How to sit.. how to breath. Do them correctly, half the battle is won.

I woudn't say we discuss it here. More flame fest. I remember starting a new thread on Mo Pai with instructions no insults, no history, just philosophy and comparative techniques. I got nothing but sarcasm from WMP. They could not add anything positive or abide the existence of a thread without insults. They tossed fuel trying to get it going. Why?? I don't understand it, this thread is typical of Mo Pai and I suspect its exactly what they want. Why?? attention? it gets them attention. and the ones who suffer most are the authentic Indonesian Mo Pai who find mention of there art on the net being spammed by Westerners.

I think that sentiment is fine. There are arts that are loose (ie casual/new agey) others that are hard core, requiring much dedication. Some practices have schools in both sides of the spectrum. A. I think all practicess are liable to get some criticism here. Its natural. If defended without obsession, it goes away. B. I think the schools that present themselves with We are number one, all other practices are fantasies/bullshit/fooling themselves, tend to attacked worse. Again, that's natural. I'm interested to see if Western Mo Pai goes to other sites to proclaim there singular greatness and end up with the 30 page repetitive threads that we end up with here. Are we so lucky because Mo Pai Bear started here, was kicked out and holds grudges? Does Mo Pai exist peacefully on other websites? for these and other questions, don't tune in here. go practice. new years coming, don't be a gawker.

So.. in an art with 72 levels, you think the highest Indonesian students have gotten to is 2B or maybe 3? huh. You'd assume being a native that they'd have a chance to do better. Does the Western Mo Pai group assume most Indonesians are like level 1 and can't do better. They don't have a Jim McMillan to show them. (I don't mean to dis Jim, rather that you're willfully naive and slightly r*(%ish in your thinking.) You know in his book Jim said (something like)- for the first two years I did it wrong. That doesn't seem like a live student to me. More like a seminar guy. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but the seminar student generally doesn't reach the level of the uchi-deschi, live in student. Lots is lost in culture and language. Did Jim speak the Malay. In an old art of mine, Aikido. It was clear that Westerners viewed the founder Ueshiba with starry eyes (some of that deserved) and that while very very respectful Japanese natives were much more realistic. Not as easily regaled by his wildest stories. Seeing him as man(&mystic) not a superman.

The funny thing about that quote is that he doesn't say my teacher is like that. His teacher is even better. And or some of the guys I rose the ranks with are also that good. Why is that? He doesn't have brothers or classmates at his level? Even teachers? No one close or above? How small is Indonesian Mo Pai? Even if its just a dozen or two guys, you'd think there'd be a generation of teachers and students above his, cause he's not that old. In the Magus Of Java don't you have a level 34ish fight a level 42? and one kills the other. Is Mo Pai like Highlander? There can be only one. I doubt it. I get the feeling, and its only that, that one of Mr. Changs powers is an excellent sense of humor, and he didn't mind mixing and spinning tall tales and folklore to the wild and round eyed gaijin. It wouldn't be the first Asian taking advantage of Western gullibility.

So "We wish we could force people to do Mo Pai" is the new permanent addition to the bot speak. Refeshing to see a new bot phrase come into existence. Bad mind set though. A bit fascist. Perhaps you have children or elderly you can force into it. What we write or brag about is less a show of cultivation then how we conduct ourselves. Your inability to add to any subject on cultivation and merely cut and paste repetitively to insure long circular arguments doesn't show cultivation or strategy or wise use of time. Your oblivious that you feed and continue long negative threads on Mo Pai. You are programmed to turn a single or few negative posts on Mo Pai, ones that like all negative posts would quickly die down and vanish within a day or two. You findem and keep them alive, fan them for weeks. I assume you're on orders from the More Pie Bear. They want long insulting Mo Pai threads because.. I don't know, maybe they dont either, its a bad attention is better then no attention kind of thing. Obviously you could infiltrate us better by becoming a regular respected member. Join in discussions, share thoughts and ideas. Gain some site cred for being insightful, helpful. Note you couldn't rely on cut and paste. But as a respected member you'd actually have more influence and not just be a bot punching bag that I assume your group sent you here to be. Cause the WE HAVE VIDEOS OF MISTER CHANG. WE ARE RATIONAL. ONLY OUR SYSTEM & Wm Hofs ARE REAL. WE WISH TO FORCE YOU. EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE. Just kidding about the exterminate part but not the robotics. Are you getting the results here you want? Is keeping negative MoPai threads going forever really what you want to do with your time? Yes it doesn't require any thought on your part but you could do something creative or practice or make your art look good instead of spray painting 100 insult pages across the net each month. Yeah I know, you got nothing to do with it, just helpless to follow the program. Keep writing the same thing to keep the stupid negative Threads alive as long as possible, cause thats what you were told.
-
For free you could stop 99% of all Mo Pai threads by stating your truth and going away. You create dozens, 100s, 1000s(?) of negative posts here. Are there other sites your on where you do the same thing? Go full MP bot on them? Spend hours posting over and over? Are we lucky enough to have this drama month after month? Imo its gotta be a crazed drinking game . No one could think generating so much negativity and bad press day after day could be a good thing. Unless ones a masochist. The new party line of 'We dream of forcing others to do Mo Pai', is not going to be a hit. You've repeated it, what, 6 or 7 times, not a winner or persuasive outside a cult. I'm back to repeating- if you talked about benefits and experiences of your art, like everyone else here does you wouldnt create long bot threads. No more of your crazy drinking games, having to take one shot for every page you generate. Forget the bad press you generate for your art think about your liver.

Jim died young, Kosta stopped practicing. If you mean it about migrating, in his TB interview Kosta was asked what other art was a worthy substitute. He named a couple. But that not relevant to you cause is a set 'bot' point. You were taught to repeat it, alot. And you do. Seems like its not true or you don't trust Kosta. Similarly you'll mention Wim Hof as the only other authenticated art. Do any you practice it? We have giys here who've made it thru the 10 week course and beyond. Other then dissing other arts you rarely join in any discussion of cultivation. Is such speech is forbidden to you? Lastly, you practice an old Indonesian art. Do you ever feel a twinge of guilt that by posting 100s or 1000 of inane posts that generate a mountain of negative posts. That you've covered up and disgraced the native art. If you pretended to be an actual Indonesian student and found the first dozen search pages of your art was the Tao Bums moronic repetitive posts kept alive by WMP. You realize you have like 4 posts you continually repeat to keep MOPai a continual target. Either you want the negativity or.. Thats the only reason I can think of. And damn unfair to people who study it natively. You've created 1000s of pages of Mo Pai spam. And show no signs of slowing down. Or self reflection. Do you why they'd see you as a bit discrediting there art? We've had an Indonesian student come on the bums and say that, then leave cause they weren't here for attention. Just to set the facts straight.

How to develope good intuition /decision making ?
thelerner replied to waterdrop's topic in General Discussion
My 2 cents. Keep an impartial record. Look for opportunities to make decisions without conscious thought. See how you do. How your state of mind is. I guess the trick is accessing the vast subconscious mind without getting tripped up by egoic fears and desires. -
Do you know any Indonesian Mo Pai students who'd back that up? You realize they, by definition have current masters as teachers giving them inspiration and feedback. The books you use were not supposed to be used as bibles.

Cameras exist. Showing a couple of practitioners doing something or even doing nothing is better then relying on 10 or 20 year videos of someone who's disappeared years ago from the public eye. Crap, I've written that before. Imo, its not that powers are bad but when they're a main selling point or over emphasized.. Its easy to head in the wrong direction. Wisdom, compassion, equanimity need to lead 'power', otherwise dreams of grandeur, paranoia and manic wobbling are likely to ensue.
-
Cool, you have a WMP member we could do this to? Just kidding. I know I know Only Chang. Thing is, every now and then you mention Wim Hof. His top students often even his seminar students can replicate his 'powers'. They can, because the system works. Its no big deal. If proof was only based on Wim Hof videos, the system would be questionable. Maybe another tack. If I asked what you expected to get out of the system, would you show a JC video or claim its secret or give a circular answer? Or just write it?

Jesus guys. At what point does it become apparent you're dealing w a human "bot". One who could keep this up all day and for 100s of pages.

Guidlines for group purchase of land/buildings retreat center
thelerner replied to Spotless's topic in Buddhist Discussion
No real information, though Step A is getting your group Tax free status.. maybe that goes without saying. My relatively poor Aikido group had a member who was great at writing and getting grants. We somehow incorporated with a charter laying out who's in charge and probably had a section of our purpose and philosophy, and how votes were taken. I believe there are people who work with charities and do this kind of thing pro-bono. If you can find one, who has experience, you've found a great short cut. < which is pretty much what you're doing here. >- 1 reply

Appeal to Forum Community to Ban Member “Everything”
thelerner replied to Earl Grey's topic in General Discussion
IDK, there have been times I've heard strange bumps in the night and I'll wake up startled. My wife will nudge me and say "Probably just Sean. Go downstairs, type an apology into the computer and it'll go away..' -

While I agree with the sentiment above, I'm hoping Sean doesn't visit these people, at their homes, in the middle of the night and drop them off at some dark web site.
