my high school classmates who drink coffee on the regular would disagree with you

this thread was discussing having someone banned simply because they didn't like them, can't ignore that.
-
glad to see you believe my post applies to you

i think it's kind of sad that anyone who has a different opinion is immediately pointed the finger and laughed at; ESPECIALLY considering this is supposed to be a "spiritual" forum where people want to heighten themselves. if you didn't think his stuff was for you ignoring was and has always been an option, making a topic asking for someone you don't personally like to be banned is a little outrageous in my opinion. but wait, don't make a topic about banning me too please! edit: and for those trying to be "heroes" and attacking people under the guise of exposing frauds; please. the average age for this forum is at LEAST 25, if by that age you still cannot form your own opinions purchasing a online course should be the least of your concerns.

this practice looks very interesting, although bodri seems to catch some heat for his views (circulating being thought of as useless) he has a lot of information on his website although some of it seems somewhat strange (meditation for beautiful skin) ?

my 2 cents is that don't take it too seriously; if the sages of old couldn't come to an agreement on whats the fastest method to enlightenment i doubt you'll find the answer here. we all have our karma and our destiny, what works for you might not work for me.

a good idea would be to make a list of effective home remedies and obtain the necessary items for them. expect to be treating burns, cuts, infections, etc.

the general rule for body building is as follows 1-3 repetitions for mass 3-5 repetitions for strength 5-8 repetitions for growth i did a program where all the exercises where on a 5x5 scheme (as in, 5 sets of 5 repetitions) and my body was strong but not defined; i have then switched to a 3x8 scheme and my muscles are now both larger and more well defined. also, a type of mantra i try to repeat to myself in the gym is "quality over quantity." in other words, do as many as you can with good, solid form, instead of doing a ton of sloppily done repetitions. doing push-ups or pull-ups fast isn't as productive as doing them slower with good form. peace

that's probably why the mo pai is closed to westerners

hello MPWay, my age is publicly displayed on this forum, i don't know why you'd want to assume. what nonsense am i believing? i corresponded directly with jim himself, the only person who is openly teaching us westerners. i really have no idea what you're talking about in that barely coherent wall of text you posted but it still remains, john chang doesn't want to be bothered. peace
-
i spoke with jim a few times until he told me he wanted money for the teachings, at which point in time i said no. there are also people on this forum that DO have experience with the mo pai and say it's a dead path, so no, only you seem to be making an ass out of yourself. here's an excerpt from one of my emails sticking to one practice for ten years isn't something everyone can or will do; not to mention there are other paths that produce results much faster. also, note that he said there are certain signs you must look for, if you aren't meeting with a teacher in person this type of training is pointless.
-
why don't you all just accept that the mo pai door is closed? even if jim teaches you level 1 or 2 that's all you'll ever get, level 1 or 2 (which isn't much in terms of spiritual evolution).
-
just so you know another member of this forum has also confirmed the existence of his spiritual baby.
-
some real sincerity... i bow to you peace
-
the mo pai training methods are secret and yes, according to a number of its past practitioners it is dangerous and apparently someone even died because of it.
-
don't try to learn john chang's method from his videos

hello, no, i haven't, i did post a video though which shows the qigong routine (i think it's on the 3rd page). peace

hey qijack, yes, i agree, this isn't something you should be playing around with, but the possible benefits of this type of practice far outweigh any possible "danger" one could get. remember, plato injured himself once he was lifting over 25lbs, i believe his post said he went up to 45lbs. that is a weight that i'm simply never going to attempt, i probably won't even attempt 10lbs. i do, however, appreciate your words of caution and mjjbecker, as i can see how this practice seems crazy or whatnot but when you try it yourself you see it's no big deal (at least with the weight i use). also, i believe that tu jin-sheng hangs around the scrotum as well; if you look at this slightly graphic picture you can see for yourself here as i said before, i appreciate your sentiments but 5lbs simply isn't anything in my eyes. peace
