so i've been thinking, is chi weightlifting the practice that allows one to eventually suck the testicles up into the abdomen? i've scanned through ron jeremy's old posts and he seems to think highly of "testicle pull ups" which i can do. how would you get them back down if you did get them in the abdomen though you'd have to be careful not to digest your children!

the main difference is that internal martial arts are usually (and i'm generalizing here) practiced by older people and not for their fighting aspects but for internal health. mma fighters don't really care about health (if they did they wouldn't let themselves get hid in the head so often which can cause serious problems) and their main concern is usually beating people up. that being said, internal martial artists aren't always pussies like some of the MMA crowd tries to make it seem. this is an excerpt from one of the top bagua guys in china http://www.chinafrominside.com/ma/bagua/machuanxu.html as for shaolin vs muay thai or bjj or whatever, you can't really compare a celibate, vegetarian, serene monk with a MMA fighter who probably has the best nutrition and training regiment available. does that mean that shaolin kung fu is any less effective? i don't believe so.

i'm not entirely sure of my main motive but this type of training is held in high regards by nearly everyone who uses it (i say nearly only because plato seems to be dissatisfied by it). if what they say about it being good for the marrow or what not is true then that'd be great, i have external strength but i'm sure my internal is seriously lacking.

does anyone else get an erection when weight lifting? every time i try to do it i have to stop 5 or 10 seconds in and wait for it to die down before i can start up again. it also may be just me but i think my testicles have gotten noticeably larger too but wouldn't it be way to early to tell?

yes but look at the amount of weight plato was putting up, that's dangerous even if you have an instructor. i believe the bone marrow washing method is supposed to tie around both, which causes me absolutely no discomfort (in fact, it causes pleasure, i had to stop cause i kept getting erections). try it yourself vortex, it takes 5 minutes to prepare and you'll see what i mean. take a pair of scissors and make an incision on the bottom of a shirt (the part that's stitched) and then rip off the rest with your hands. get any small bottle or container and fill it with water (it shouldn't really feel heavy in your hand), use the knot described in the video and voila. edit: almost forgot to mention, make sure the knot is on bottom and in middle so that the weight is equally divided, i believe it was plato who mentioned that this was essential.

so, with using the tying method detailed in the above video, i have had my first go at hanging. i took a old shirt and cut off the bottom part of it and that's my "cloth" and as for my weight, i got a old bottle of a supplement i used to take and filled it half way with water. i used the same knot that's described in that video to tie the bottle. to my surprise, this doesn't hurt or feel bad at all, it actually feels pretty good.

hey plato, i had seen your post and was considering PM'ing you but i saw you hadn't been active for some time. i figured that it would involve tying around both to develop the "thunder power." while i really don't want to stretch anything down there (i wouldn't mind if it was shorter) i wouldn't mind having some marble testicles. why do you think it causes impotence and do you think any of your vast array of injuries could have contributed to your perspective? i'm not doubting your experience, in fact, i'm glad you posted as to offer another opinion other than "it's a good practice." but you did seem to get injured pretty often. from what i have read online, the people who study under either james mcneil or tu jin-sheng, the experiences are positive in their practices of weight lifting. another thing to take notice of is that apparently the shaolin version of this practice was for monks, who i doubt wanted to have amazing sexual powers when they where celibate. then again, the practices james mcneil teach aren't from shaolin and i'm not sure of tu jin-sheng's origins. however, thanks to your post, i do realize this isn't something to joke with and i am for the most part going to at the very least halt this down. i think i somehow pissed off james mcneil in that he is no longer replying to my e-mails so i'll have to find a way to study with tu jin-sheng! edit: this seems to be a better alternative http://www.qigongpenis.com for those of us who can't afford to fly, it's $60.

alright, sounds good. i'm going to try to find some type of cloth i can hang with, or maybe make my own device to hang some light weights and see what it's like; light in this context is 2.5lbs. another thing i'm training with is... you guessed it... testicle pull ups! i think the goal of that is to be able to suck them into your stomach but i'm sure that must make you sterile... your stomach's heat would cook your to-be children.

this topic, i hope, will serve as a tool to everyone who is attempting retention. so far i am on record time, having not ejaculated for 19 days now. i have tried a lot of practices and try some today which may even seem crazy - i do not care, if it helps me in preventing nocturnal emissions i will do it. thus, i will cover some things i believe need to be addressed. first subject: pornography, masturbation and women. if you want to get past three days i heavily advise you stop watching porn; this instant. stop for a moment and enter a meditation like state while keeping your eyes open. look at all the weird thoughts going through, crazy huh? when you are watching porn and pleasuring yourself, as these usually go hand in hand, you are receiving tons of subtle information and gestures from the film. one is that women are here to give you your pleasure and must obey your command (hence men guiding the positions without regard for the womans feelings in most films). this will create fantasies in your mind where things must go a certain way or they're wrong. pornography i believe can also cause a form of erectile dysfunction, but that is merely my opinion. masturbation, something else you must drop too. by this point if you haven't already gone back to the tao lounge muttering "this guy is nuts" you may be onto something. masturbation is in essence the physical manifestation of all of your sexual thoughts and desires. notice when you masturbate in your mind you are thinking of a pretty girl, maybe a model, maybe your girlfriend, doing things just how you like them. desire. once you quit masturbating you may find days to be significantly longer depending on how you go about your life, take the hint and use it as meditation time, or if you're into that type of stuff, qigong or energy work. lastly, women. no you don't have to drop them but you do have to change how you think about them. look how filthy our minds are, we see an attractive woman and all we think about is having sex with her! this is how your desires have taken over your life. if you see an attractive girl just take her for what she is and move on; instead of staring at her tits all day and thinking "man i'd totally hit that." it is because of a woman that we're all alive, i'd believe some respect is due to them as they are genuinely the creators of all that is and all that ever has been. something to keep in mind is that the path of great sacrifice is the path to great rewards. a lot of willpower is needed to do anything on the spiritual path, and being chaste is no different. at first, it is hell; you do not want to do it and you want it to end right now. within time you get a hand of the ropes and learn what you thought was terrible really isn't. an example of this is learning how to play an instrument. at first your music will sound terrible, so bad even to your ears it sounds vile. you will be greatly discouraged, even in jest by your peers. if you can learn to overcome this and continue to practice, within time your instrument becomes a second voice, another means of expression to you; then your music is loud and beautiful to the ear. and thus it is so with retention. you will want to watch the pornographic films, you will want to masturbate, you will want to have an orgasm, accept all this as this is the only way. upon starting you will fail, many times over again and will wake up only to find your energy has been taken from you in your sleep. do not give up, this is imperative for this process. write down what caused you to lose your seed and meditate on it and begin the process again as this is the only way to slowly purify yourself; overnight change simply does not exist. so far, one thing i have found that works in time is not laying on your stomach, rather sleeping on your sides. when you sleep on your stomach you usually naturally get an erection, at which point any movement on the mattress could cause enough friction for you to have an orgasm even without the aid of succubi. when you learn to sleep on your sides there is no friction and thus, no unnecessary excitation of the creative organs.

so was your main practice the MCO as detailed by mantak chia? i checked out the bib hanger and it's $130, which is a little more than 99 power qigong's DVD; which one do you believe would be the wiser purchase? i believe the shih shui training james mcneil does includes wrapping around both the penis and testicles at the same time with the goal of "iron body" and glandular health. do you believe celibacy with regular mco practice to be the best or sex/masturbation + mco? thanks a lot for all the answers

did you mean a CCO when you typed CCA? as for objectives.. hmm. i'm starting the MCO practice as outlined by james mcneil of the little nine heaven system (which includes weightlifting) as it's recommended to start on a monday. i do believe in semen retention and if having a crown chakra "experience" (orgasm doesn't seem to fit) is the byproduct of these type of practices then by all means sign me up. i have light weights, my problem is finding a device or building a device to hang from. i don't know if i'd hang from my sack though as pulling them down lightly with your hand hurts enough; currently practicing getting used to that. this is something that i've wanted to do for a while as well, kegel weight training.
