  1. paying attention and indulging in them are two very different things. buddhists are mindful, not obsessive.
  2. humans are animals with intellect, you can choose to do what you wish. i don't think monks "indulge" in anything, they are constantly reminded to not pay attention to physical sensations and they live a very bland life. the animalistic portion of the mind does want to continually feel pleasure and always have climax but that is physically impossible - you will never satisfy the want or need for pleasure; this is why hedonism is blasphemous. i'd see my spiritual resolution as going back into the 4th dimension, eden. from my basic understanding humans have been taken off of of auto-evolve and placed on manual, giving you two options. you can de-evolve (welcome to numerous mental ailments that did not exist back when) or evolve into a real man with an awakened consciousness.

  6. i am in no way down bringing sex; you can have sex without the presence of lust and it is encouraged and necessary on the spiritual path i'm on. you don't tell a fat person to eat their heart out so they can overcome overeating, why? because they are addicted and the next day they will resume. they may not want to eat for a little while because they're full at the moment, giving the impression they've conquered their obese ways; it will be the most attractive diet until you gain even more weight.
  7. i am in no way abstaining from sex - from masturbation and ejaculation yes. i simply do not believe in indulging in the hedonistic pleasures of life only to later say i've mastered them. i prefer to master first and then proceed with caution.
  8. if i was to masturbate for a week and watch pornography - all of my work up until this point would mean absolutely nothing. i do not think the path of excess leads to wisdom - quite the contrary i think; i think it leads to disappointment. the more you feed something, the more it grows; this is true for our egos as well. while yes, being a virgin and never having a girlfriend can sometimes make me feel needy and there is no doubt about it, it lets me study myself and find my flaws. here is an example of one of my self-analysis; keep in mind this is all in thought usually during meditation. why do i want a girlfriend? i'm not happy as i am now, i am lonely and bored most of the time. why do i want to lose my virginity? i want to experience this great deal of pleasure everyone else is partaking in and that i read about. just by doing that alone i can find out that i need to work on my character and that in reality i'm my own best friend. as for the second part it's all plain lust - the heat and the connection with the opposite gender in the flesh is enough to spark anyones lust; i'm having trouble with this one and i'll plainly admit it. (woah i just had a deja vu like experience lol) this is what i believe we all must do. self-observation to find what you lack in and what you have in excess. buddha was right on point when he said the middle path - you have to have a balance. positive people attract other positive people and positive events so if you feel lonely take solace in your own company and do some ego work.
  9. also, mikaelz, it is very possible that you may not think anything lustful but your subconscious mind is. this is often the case with wet dreams. a seeming normal situation can arouse deeper centers of the mind. i could click on the website and watch the videos and not be fapping away but deeper in my mind i am feeding a ego of lust, the want to see women, especially naked. meditation has somewhat become a constant task for me and i can usually always see what i am thinking and now is when i notice how many perverted thoughts arise and how lustful and desirous i used to behave. for example, a girl in a class of mine wears her pants low so when she sits the slit of her ass comes out. unconsciously i used to always look and not realize why, i'd just find myself looking randomly. it's lust. you may think it's a.ok and then you wake up wet. this isn't even that hardcore, i almost never watch tv or browse odd sites as they're often flooded with pictures of women with giant breasts and of course as a guy that's the first thing i look at, lol. the only way to keep your seed is through permanent change in behavior. for someone who is starting their 100 days, as is cameron, it does him no good to be looking at those kinds of videos. here is an example of his lust. 1.) he finds an attractive actress 2.) he asks for more information about her, who is she, where is she from (ego looking for more to feed itself) 3.) even after saying back to 100 days he posts yet another video of her (proof the ego has been satisfied for now) 4.) the ego comes up and talks to us by saying and then it weakens and is counter acted with if you all cannot see how he is feeding into his lust to view women as seductive creatures that lead to voluptuous pleasures then you too will fail in the path of brahmacharya. once you begin to crack the ego of lust and desire then can you live a life of brahmacharya and pure, clean thoughts. it is the same for the road to enlightenment. the same way i broke down and showed how lust is in all of us you can too find anger, greed, jealousy, etc.
  10. you know what i meant
  11. my reference towards why meditate was a joke because of something i see happen a lot on this forum. darinhamel can attest to this as i've seen people tell it to him over and over. i think it's because there isn't really to many words to speak about enlightenment and realization but it stems from members telling each other "you're already enlightened" and then i'd reply with "if so, why practice?" you are not enlightened, and unless you meditate, you will never be. this, you must create a stillness and learn to control the ego, or if you're a taoist, perform the internal alchemy and make the da dao. you have to create a change because not everything is flowing through you, including the divine bliss. the entire idea of kundalini is dualistic - you fuse ida and pingala, fire and water, prana and apana to rise the serpent; remember that i am not a taoist. nothing that i study has anything to do with the new age movements as if i where to attend a meeting no one would try to spark my chi or do anything crazy. no, instead there would most likely be study of texts to find the esoteric meaning. for example, i believe that the bible is a book that is not meant to be taken literally. it is written in code and some western eyes have noticed this but they are studying it in the wrong way. they are looking for patterns and similarities between the text. to truly understand the bible you must have the esoteric eye and know what to look for. i'm going to stop here as my beliefs will simply cause conflict should i say anything else. if you're interested just say so.
  12. you can do that at the higher levels of celibacy, you have to learn how to control your lust and desire before hand. it is fully possible to look at naked women without dirty thoughts going through your mind but it isn't something someone new to celibacy should be trying out.
  13. even in a non dualistic approach you have to create this is something i see happening on this forum a lot "you are enlightened!!!" really, why meditate then? or do qigong or neigong? "you are immortal!!!" i suppose i'll shape shift into my house then i simply do not believe it is as easy as realizing this all and just snapping back in tune with nature. if that's the case babies would be enlightened since when they're born they have no ego - yet they aren't as most spiritual texts say we have been asleep for thousands of years.
  14. there are different realms, each with a different amount of laws. our physical realm is governed by 48 laws, the astral by 24, the mental by 12 and the casual by 6. this in turn means that in our physical realm it may not be possible to do certain things due to the amount of laws (48). if you ascend to the astral or mental, however, a lot more is possible (flying, walking through buildings, etc) i think that the entire idea behind being immortal is that you create your spirit, if you're a taoist this equals to building the immortal fetus. the way i see it is that not everyone has a soul - you must create it. and when you do create it you become immortal, as even after your physical body decays and eventually dies you still have your soul which can travel through the realms. in gnosticism it is said most of the true masters reside in the astral realms.
  15. cameron you really need to learn how to listen to advice man, you're too thick headed for your own good. oh great, i click the website and there's a bunch of naked women. celibacy sure is difficult.
  16. oh that's great to hear, good luck dude!

  18. Secrets of Female Formless Awareness

you'd be lying to yourself if you really think anyone on this website has read more than 3-4 posts in this tpoic.
  19. mal, if you have a partner that doesn't think you're crazy already, try talking to her about maithuna. having sex without orgasms is great - you mustn't indulge in the sensations though. very tricky to word, i suggest watching "sex - the secret gate to eden." you can find the entire movie on youtube.
  20. Escapa!

  22. applying that white tantra principle to me are ya augustleo, lol! "imagine it all as a tough white fabric"
  23. thanks, cameron. augustleo, i know what you're talking about but you don't know what i'm talking about. i am not enlightened and my ego is very much intact, pretending to be "you me and all in between" is fun but it's not practical. only once you look at the problem and admit there is a problem can you fix it.
  24. you are your lust right now, and i am very much "me" right now as well. while talking like if we're in the matrix is fun and all, no one on this website is at that level; you dismantle your ego piece by piece.
