I've spent the last two nights on the floor, really comfortable. Going to try and find a decent platform bed or futon this weekend and trash the old box and spring.

Why don't you get a Tatami mat?

That video is god awful. Really? Rock music to a video where qigong is being displayed? No wonder they don't want to teach the practice to Westerners. We think we're going to be Star Wars rockstars. -
I guess I'm lucky, Hispanic parents ftw

I'm uncircumcised and curious on what genuine source you might have on the taoist sexual practices.

Cheapest source I'm aware of for Piracetam: http://www.amazon.com/Piracetam-Powder-Serious-Nutrition-Solutions/dp/B004M4BT46/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1316283115&sr=8-1

What kind of dosing did you use for Piracetam? I have like 500g of Piracetam sitting around (I hate the taste) along with another 500g or so of Choline.

Hey, I'm curious what take you all have on this. I'm an average 21 year old male that has been hitting the gym for 4-5 years now, currently around 5'9-5'10 170lbs. One issue I've been having is excessive body heat in that I am hot nearly all the time and as a result sweat very easily. I didn't pay any mind to it at first (it's been going on for a long time) as I thought it was a normal reaction to sweat when it was hot until I noticed that I'm typically the only one dripping sweat. I don't have medical insurance as my employer doesn't really offer any (they do, but it's purposely unaffordable, they're just bound by law to do so) so getting blood work is out of the question for now. I match quite a few of symptoms for hyperthyroidism but I'd prefer not to self-diagnose myself and get frantic about what could be nothing. Basically want to get a TCM-ish perspective on what excessive heat/perspiration entails. Thanks in advance.

Interesting, Scotty.

Sleeping surface and the health of your back

Pretty cool thread. I sleep on a pretty soft old spring mattress and don't have any real problems (but then again, I am 21). I am interested in these "super firm" mattresses though. I just came back from a vacation from Punta Cana, DR and at the resort they had these super hard beds on what appeared to be slabs of concrete or marble (I'm not sure). I slept like a baby on them. -
Cool thread, I like drinking the Hazelnut coffee at work occasionally, black with no sugar. I like the taste.

Thread title. What's the most efficient way of achieving a Kundalini awakening?

I have on several occasions dreamt of something only for it to later happen on real life. The last dream I had like this was a few month maybe even years ago and it was of my current place of employment well before I had ever found anything out about it. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
-
Not thinking twice about it, just curious if it's a common phenomenon.

No problem, I made this thread on my smartphone so I tried to type the least possible. I was living in Florida (I had been living there for the past 10 years) and I was planning on relocating to where I currently live (Massachusetts) to get a job working with my uncle (where I work now). While living in Florida I had a dream in great detail of what it looks like inside the building I currently work at which I have never in my life seen/been inside before. I realized this while at work I just got a kind of "click" and that was proceeded by a mental holy shit when I noticed I had dreamt of the same exact scenario/place in my dream many months beforehand. This also happened to me when I was in 2nd-3rd grade (I cannot recall exactly which grade it was). I had a dream of some girl I had a crush on giving some sort of speech at class and a week or two later she did exactly that when she was called up to the front of class to receive her report card.

i'm sure i don't have to find any articles to show how calcified our pineal glands are; now, what methods could you use to de calcify?

why is it that the very active fizzle out while the medium and the not so active dont?

It's simple; the higher the intensity, the shorter the duration. -
Been taking Chlorella and Kelp for a few weeks now and I think I'm going through some detox, as I do get headaches occasionally and a bit of acne on random areas of my body. I'm keeping water intake high and taking coconut as well as fish oils (with a LOT of EPA/DHA, this brand here). I just received some Magnesium Citrate which I will be taking daily before bed along with some Zinc Glycinate (most bio available form). Will keep this thread updated.

There is an incredible feeling of accomplishment after finishing some heavy ass squats, you really must try it. If you want some pre-gym motivation, check out this guy:

I would like to hear more of this "Master Luo", seems like a very interesting fellow (and I wouldn't mind the trip to Thailand)
