Well, I guess I'm not on a lei shan dao? (I might be, but lomax is notoriously mysterious and "you'll discover if you practice" about it), but SM does have you differentiate between yang and yin chi, but you don't have to do rocket science with it. I am not at that point though. The practice takes care of itself. So beyond a solid practice, I don't if you are making the assumption you have to be touching the ground(yin) to get yin chi... I believe the book says what you said... and I understand that's what you have to work with till you meet another master who can say otherwise. So good luck with it then. John

That is a nice belief, but there are plenty of taoists that started young, and zen monks that started old. And you state 'succeed' as if there is a goal to zen. Or even one to taoism. What you goal is may not be other's goals. According to your view and that belief of taoism and zen, it could be more realistic... but that is just your perspective. John

I've been practicing for a month over a year now, and it has definitely contributed to healing in me. Psychologically it's been very calming and emotionally releasing, and physically it's been very healing and reducing/removing pain in general. And I've heard from a number of qigong systems 'you'll need less sleep' and the like, and this is the first system that I've experienced that in a very noticeable way. It very seriously seems to charge me up, both in body and mind. Chronic pain in my shoulder is gone, long term tightness in my lower right psoas is gone, corresponding right knee pain healing. And it has taken some time, but now when I focus on my lower dantien I can feel the energy kick up. Like I had to develop the dantien before focusing on it would create any kind of energy movement. Now though, I can feel the energy start doing things when I focus on it.... like a subtle bliss or feeling headiness. One of the biggest things I attribute to it, is my life is on fire lately. Work life is going awesome, relational life is awesome, and everything seems to be coming together really well. It's like the more I practice the more I feel supported in my life and what to do/where to go/how to do it comes really easy and effortlessly. So... there you go. John

Yea I think one of the ads was pushing the file... I don't think the site is doing it, but I'm not sure not being able to get into your database/hosting/etc. Then your site got marked as 'an attack site' which google flagged, and now firefox is flagging as well.

I would actually only recommend citrulline and arginine. But also with Tongkat ali, from this guy: https://premium-tongkat-cheap.com/ Which is from the Indonesian source, where most tongkat ali is farmed. Maca there is still a lot of misinformation around, and from what I hear, there are 12 different types that people just lump together. It really just cranks up my stress. Tribulus as well, ups the hell out of your luteinizing hormone, which is good initially, but can be converted into estrogen, which is bad unless you like boobs on yourself. Tongkat ali is one of the best all around amazing herbs that increases potency in men I've found and used, even better than ginseng for this purpose. It kickstarts your leydig cells(what has your balls grow and starts you into puberty) and cranks up hormone production and testicular health. I also notice when I take it, qi gong is more effective. It's like it gives you more jing to work with. Or something.... all I know is energy seems more available to work with. John

Dude it probably has something to do with your relationship to the work/schooling your doing. Tired could be it, or your sick of the schooling, or... any number of things. So some questions to help shed some light on things: What is it about school that your hating? Did you enjoy it before? Did anything change? It might be if you took a break, and relaxed for a while you'd come back refreshed. I know that when I used to do 2 summer semesters then back to school, I would be burnt the fuck out and wouldn't put up the effort needed. John

I don't think it's complex as that, I think it's just due to the physical simulation. I've been rubbing my balls 100 times every morning and I agree with it's increase in sexual energy. I'll be adding slapping now, to try out. John

Chinese Taoist Medicine & Stillness-Movement Medical Qigong
JohnC replied to Ya Mu's topic in Group Studies
So just posting how things have been for me with SM lately. Almost every time I practice now, I'll do the movements, close my eyes, then space and time disappear. I'll set the alarm for an hours worth of practice and I'll come to with the alarm going of. Just a general sense of timelessness. Or my fiance will ask me a question, and I'll think I've opened my eyes, looking around, when I've still got my eyes closed. It's like everything occurs so vivid in my minds eye that I'm looking at. Generally feels great, sometimes bliss, usually heat, but for the most part timelessness and energy moving. Regardless, practice seems like it is moving along really well, and majorly excited to be going to the November seminar. John -
Neither and both.

I agree with this. Just as there isn't anything that is un-natural in the foods we eat. It is all of the universe, and from the universe. There are just things that are poisonous to humans, and things that are very good for us.

Awesome post. Two paths same mountain.

So uhh.... how do you know it's real info, if you don't know if he's trained, or where he might have gotten it, or.... anything other than that he charges 300$. Sounds like your hoping it's true, and only believing it because you see multiple sources that also have similar info. But just because tons of people share incorrect info, doesn't make any of them correct. John

Woa. Those aren't the levels. Your not going to get very far... as altruistic as that is, and nice of you. Your master may not wish that, nor might you not understand until you get to a higher level why. And from what I understand of the higher level systems, you only progress if it is a matter of karma and destiny. As in you'll find the system right for you. John

Why did you remove your post info? I was digging it, and have been thinking about lightness qigong recently.

In fact there was a bunch of discussion about him a while back. Some previous students calling him a scam, others vouching for him. Yea it's here.

So you think the past will = the future? How does change happen? You missed the point. According to you. What if he doesn't agree? Whats positive about it? Yes but I'm asking you. What is so bad about fundamental christians(others) thinking terrible things and having bad opinions about taoism(any subject really?) Good thing nazi germany is gone. John
