I liked the history of the planet being presented. The snowball periods of evolution are fascinating. Calling upon Medea for inspiration is very bold, it would naturally follow that Medea is contrasted to Gaia. The comparison of a woman to a titan is an extreme use of imagery calling upon the minds ability to put together different scales of understanding reality. Quite stimulating! But back to the science, the fact that life on this planet has gone into extinction on a global scale before mankind's interference brings a new light to my understanding of truth. To quote Ward "The main threat to life is life itself." Unfortunatly the article ends with geoengineering. Essentially suggesting that humanity start developing the science for transforming Venus and Mars here on earth. This brings to mind a project that attempts to stop glacial melt by covering the icecaps in plastic. The researcher only managed to cover a square acre and his results showed that the ice does stop melting. But there is a solid square acre of plastic littering the arctic ice. Hum...finding harmony with nature is not quite, quite what it seems to be.

I bow to Lord Yama. It was requested of me to not name the school in question. Here's the letter I received (one of many): "In the xxxxxxx school of Taoism, there is an account of a man named Ching Fung Dao Shr -- the Taoist name that Max uses for himself -- who lived hundreds of years ago. This man attained tremendous, other-worldly powers but used them unethically: He gained, for instance, the ability to move people against their will, effectively turning them into his puppets. To make a long story short: Ching Fung Dao Shr died and became a demon. This "Max" may be another incarnation of the original Ching Fung Dao Shr (but even if he isn't, Max's choice for a name is alarming). "As you may know, even demons can practice Taoism and heal people and do seemingly wonderful things... when people are looking. "I hope this shed some more light on the matter." While in the presence of a teacher I once heard. " I hope that by working with them that this will lift the curse." this was spoken to another student that has a strong karmic tie to this teacher and not to the assembled class. The teacher was working with a shaman from the local pueblo, and for the next month was not allowed to speak to any of the students and was made to wear an amulet of protection. The true intent of the amulet is not known, nor has it ever been knowable. That summer while walking the Tao in Portland I was stuck by lightning without thunder. This happened while drinking tea with a disciple of zen. The curse had been placed on a shao lin lineage named Forced Ghost. The Forced Ghost lineage has no known beginning and no known end. If a lineage has no being and no end does it exist? Later while in the presence of this teacher I asked about being struck by lightning without thunder. His response Some lessons of the heart of compassion are difficult. May all sentient beings benefit. Namo Buddha Namo Sangha Namo Darma

I bow to lord Yama. Point the way. I remember that day in class. I wanted the teacher to show taiji. All that was accomplished that day was to raise hands from a jade table and point the way. Several years later I was able to enter Kun'lun from the plaza and manage my anger. A Taoshih still likes to hide swords in my loads of wares. I keep teliing him that he's confused and that I don't like trading in swords, but he insists that it is good karma. At times my fourwheel barbarian cart is pulled by white donkeys, and as I take a route from Kun'lun to Shambala a white ape rushes from the cave. That's why I love to do the dance called the Brass Monkey. Uh tiss uhuh tiss Crazy... Namo Darma Namo Buddha Namo Sangha

I bow to Lord Yama. A hole-e mind? Great a new attachment. I believe that I can put enough attachments together and get a Factory. Namo Buddha Namo Darma Namo Sangha

I bow to Lord Yama. I respect the teacher that taught me the mysteries of tea, and have been respectful of his students. The quote came from a different school of taoism, based in the Seattle area to the best of my knowledge. The book of great profundity a Mao Shan text has a teaching on the union with the Tao by using a whirlwind. Namo Buddha Namo Sangha Namo Darma

I bow to lord Yama Quotes from a Harvard lecture on Macroeeconomics The Chinese Money Controversy Most people think that the chinese yuan(renmenbi) is undervalued Reason? China is accumulating large dollar reserves This means it has to buy dollars and sell yuan to keep the exchange rate fixed Would China's dropping the peg cause the yuan to appreciate? Not necessarily- if capital flows were also allowed, alot of Chinese citizens would probably want to invest abroad They would represent a source of yuan that would want to yuen into dollars, strengthing the $ against the yuan Personal account from Kun'lun practice While in China gaining entrance into Kun' lun I walked into a bank to exchange travelers checks for renmenbi. The man in front of me was exchanging American currency at the bank. I had the thought that he was exchanging more currency than what my college education cost. The image to understand. An american standing in line at a chinese bank A chinese man with $20,000 to 40,000 in hand exchanging it for renmenbi(aprox. 8rmb to 1us$ exchange rate) I would add my encounter with yamantaka but it would only confuse. I bow to Lord Yama. I work on keeping a civil and respectful attitude for this man and his students. I bow to the opponents of this Kun'lun school of philosophy. Personally I wonder what my ancestors would think about my study of eastern philosophy. Namo Sangha Namo Buddha Namo Darma

I bow to Lord Yama. Yaksa a spiritual state that is the result of quick attainment and following the paths of evil destiny. Yaksa are demons and are real people, I had a chance to meet one recently. There was a meth ring that was broken by the police in Albuquerque, and as a result of playing with harmony(liu he ba fa or aikido) I spent a day in the drunk tank. One of the individuals in the drunk tank was a yaksa. He attained power by directly insulting the president of a nation. From the Medicine Buddha Sutra, " Moreover Manjushri, there are sentient beings who love to quarrel, create schisms and engage in legal disputes. They constantly suffer from hatred and others suffer, creating and increasing all kinds of evil karma with body, speech and mind. "They plot against one another without mercy, while invoking the spirits of mountains, forests, trees and tombs. "They kill sentient beings and use their flesh and blood to propitiate the Yaksa and Raksasa demons. "They may also write down the names and make images of those against whom they harbor grudges, curse them with evil mantras or try to harm or kill them with potions, witchcraft or demons-raised-from-the-dead. However, if these victims succeed in hearing the name of the Medicine Buddha, none of these evil practices can harm them." A recount of healing While in the presence of a teacher revealing to me the mystery of tea, individuals would approach for healings. Some of them the Taoshih could heal while others could not be affected. Such is the power of the Taoist Heavens over mortals. Indeed, some lessons of the heart of compassion are difficult. Why not use your own mind? Two sides of a coin..... The coin and the viewer of the coin. A simpler one is the difference between good and evil. The judge and those that are to be judged. They are the same, yet not. Hence the duality

Don't get too jumpy but, Lord Yama is Lord Yama....or in english ya born ya gonna die! Quote Jarjar binks Messa gonna Die? Boss Gungan Yousa gonna Die.. (how do you write check jowls flapping?) Lord Yama is Death. It's very healthy to respect the power he has over all of us. Personally I'm working on overcoming some inner obstacles that I created for myself by understanding the Tao. Not just what was created while working with the Clearwind taoshih but also the Dancing Wuli masters, Sifu Cook and Prof. Krull. Understanding ones death usually makes one very jumpy and sensitive to truth. May all sentient beings benefit.

I bow to Lord Yama! Would you recount some of them? Here is one of mine A nice spring day at the park. I had been talking with Anastasia (Chris's ex-wife) and heard that the inner practice had turned into watching the WCW. Kira(traveling female student) was giving Max(Clearwind taoshih) a hard time about being a skinny white man, and that he'd have problems fighting the wrestling star The Rock(Dwayne Johnson). So I come walking into class and use the People's Elbow on Max. His response is a furious use of whirlwind palm(maoshan pai technique). He then starts doing push hands with John (close disciple). As I stand there watching the Tao their shadows disappear and reappear. Whoosh a whirlwind of envy, which pretty much ends class. As the students start to walk away from class I have enough presence of mind to my karmic duties by offering a payment of tea. As this exchange is happening a huge wall of wind rises behind the Clearwind taoshih and hits us as the tea is exchanged. Nobody hurt each other, but there was a little bit of dirt in my eye as I walked home. Whirlwind palm is an interesting technique....but I'm more interested in the sunflower seed story. May all sentient beings benefit.

Cake, It is as simple as. One of the highlights from working with the Kunlun taoist path was living in a Teashop for a Fall and practicing taiji in the plaza. The Teashop owner had a working medical practice, and I was finishing the Short forms of the Clearwind tao shih. I also taught an anger management class at the same time. The yin would be drunk angry men that had to be there, the yang was older people that wanted to be there. That was a decent fall for me. All sorts of people would stop in and share Taiji. Joining pieces of wood to make a house that will withstand a lightning storm. Open the door and enter. The threefold flower guides thru the wind, Travel the ways to harmony. The threefold flower white with understanding. Each segment grows the next branch. The center radiates directly to each path of growth. A poem from a vision of lotus born. wind blows the lotus leaf

With in the body Kunlun is the upper dantien, if you are empowered in this tradition. The Clear Wind Tao shih has stated this on his forum. Externally Kunlun is providing enlightenment for the city that you live in. Like a whirlwind of envy....

Kunlun is a city.

There's a month between the empowerment in Texas and the empowerment in Hollywood. Does anybody think that Max is out in the desert with the Hopi? Probably pacifying totem animals and talking with the Blue Kachina. Off again like a whirlwind of envy.

I had a good Dream last from spending time at the monastery. The dream was near a mind stream of bodhichitta, from the practice of Kalachakra a yogi can enter into different streams of consciousness. But what this means is that the dream was mostly in blue light. A small gathering of people had assembled. Amongst them was the Clear Wind Taoshih and Professor Lisa Randall. Prof. Randall was lecturing on higher dimensions and their use in understanding string theory. Prof. Randall had brought in an object that had eight pieces to it. The object was assembled on the table with six pieces, and with the other two pieces she was able to be on the other side of the room. Bi locating using technology. This is an example of super symmetry.

You sweet little strumpet you. Trifling with my affections? Still One month between Texas and California. What would the Tao want from the american southwest? What would the Tao give to the american southwest? A possible Harmony to play with would be the image of the weaver. The Indians know that spiders are the best weavers....but horses and spiders don't mix well. I don't really know since I don't have a real horse. But Black widow antivenom comes from horses....and brown recluse antivenom comes from goats..... Maybe that's the secret, umm I mean Tantra... Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Some drumming and dancing would make some good karma and improve my observation. Or maybe stopping by the jewelry kiva and sweating things out. haha haha ho. But only fancy boys go into the jewelry kiva....(pueblo humor) What does it take to part a wild horses' mane?

As the Tao gets ready to shake the world on another Ego Trip. I sit and try to figure out if I want to be a father. Lets see how correct Pietro is with his prediction of world war three. The vines that grow the gourd of ashes are very healthy. Lets all eat from those gourds and become happy. The Hopi have some words of wisdom and gourd of ashes is a term that stands for nuclear war. I'm not granting this wish.

From my teaching that I recieved so long ago. Roleplaying the nights away instead of underage drinking. Studying the texts to learn the rules, waiting for my personal book of mystic words. Finally in 2006 there it is, after a couple years of retreat and empowerments. Timothy Leary and Ram Das don't get lost in the Wuji dimensions. Maybe a half century floating near formlessness will clean up their use of soma for enlightenment.

Do more with less. While I was walking around Portland after having started the spontaneous practice the catch phrase kept surfacing in my thoughts. Do more with less Dorje(Max) and I had had some discussions and due to the science of Kalachakra I was on a journey to china to find Kunlun. While in Taos, Dorje told me about three Taoist monasteries and that I was already a member of Kunlun and that a handshake would let me into the mountain. Cho Tien Sun And that there was no need to go to china to find Kunlun as it was all right here. In my mind and recall emptiness is the way to stop suffering. SO interesting to be a member of a monastery that exists only in the mind. While walking around Portland my mind was being purified of attachments and sometimes the though would surface Do more with less. It wasn't a mantra. Just a surfacing thought. So I get back from China and I had found Kunlun. Couldn't wait for that first class after having gone all the way to china to test Dorje's words. Class starts and there''s the crew Sasha, Chris, Anastasia, John, and the others. And then there's Dorje But they were calling him Max, when I left it was important to call him Willow, but I was sticking with my Karma from my Tibetan history. My first thought as I heard his western name. Max!!! Wait, that's my name! Go half way around the world studying emptiness and come back to a man that had shed his identity, like a snake sheds it skin, and he has taken my identity! Hum I must study emptiness and do more with less. Cho Tien Sun

Man this is soo kewl!! It's exactly like a game of mage the ascension were all the competing factions have a realm for practicing their personal truth. I mean sorcery. I showed up once in one of the books, I should get a royalty check. But nooo public domain being what it is I get screwed out of how much money? I 'm gonna find a way to file a lawsuit........

Man this writing is sooo kewl! It's exactly like a doorway from a secret text that I have were I remembered that I'd studied with Padmasambhava. Man I gotta go find Kusum Lingpa. Trots off in the direction of the plaza looking for a kachina..... Oh yeah do more with less and become productive.
