What exactly is the Red Phoenix technique? Is it the same as the "red sun" practice in the Kunlun book?
-
That is so funny!! I think someone was speaking through you!

wow this is really cool! Take one and give two back!!

Right on!! We're on the same wave!

HA that is a most excellent post!! I believe you are right in some ways. But the woman's work of surrender is as challenging as the man's work of presence. The whole teaching including "superior"man could be a bit of an ideal that is more conceptual than possible...

The question "Who am I?" is a process not a goal. Its function is to turn the awareness back upon itself. I find it uncovers what isn't "I" more than finding some "I"

David's Stuff is fantastic! I've done a couple workshops with him and I really recommend them. I think he has become a bit of a superstar lately?

We are the wolf right? Not one of the sheep?

Yes I agree..WHY is the forum closed? And why put a book out there that you can learn an incredibly powerful technique from and give absolutely no backup support. I'm just talking about basic questions about the process not leaning on the teacher or making him/her responsible for what comes out of us when the bliss stirs our muddy glass of water. I've asked the admin of the Kunlun forum to be let into the forum as a sincere practitioner of what is presented in the book. Never heard back...so the experiences here on this site are the only feedback I can get outside my own wisdom experience. I can't help feeling it is a little irresponsible to present this stuff in book form, but if this practice wasn't in book form I wouldn't have been able to find it! So its a double edged sword, sharp on both sides. As far as demons and dark entities go, my belief is that they are only alive by fear, and most likely they are usually just our darkness that we don't want to face up to.

I wanted to share with the forum an experience with a friend that I have been working on with some "tantric" bodywork techniques that she learned from Nityama "the tantric mongoose". She has never heard of Kunlun or practiced this technique, but I can tell you that the same spontaneous bliss energy/body movements happen using this bodywork as my experience of Kunlun (practiced from the book only). So I don't think that this energy is specific to Kunlun, it is just a name for some energy channel or process that gets activated. I don't see anything that is dangerous in any of this. It is natural and only causes problems with lack of integration or understanding. The bodywork technique has a sexual basis but isn't fundamentally sexual. It is about letting go into the bliss of energy that is inside us, freeing up fear and tensions. It is very interesting to me that I have come across these two methods at exactly the same time!!

oh that kind of attack! well bring it on...
-
Witch, Why would you want to "attack" Max or anyone? What is the point of this?
-
Yes I know but this was years after developing his own bodywork. So he must have seen some compatibility with his own work 'The great taboo in our culture has nothing to do with sex, drugs, or controversial theater--it's ecstatic experience.' Bradford Keeney cool stuff thanks!!

Thanks fiveelementtao,I was hearing about it on the forum and wondered if it was the same practice. I am amazed at how these extremely powerful techniques and practices are being unleashed onto the planet right now from many traditions. She must be desperate to awaken planetary consciousness! Possibly at the expense of a few dabblers practicing without proper preparation. This was the purpose of years of Asanas Pranayama etc.. in the yogic tradition as a preparation for the more powerful "kundalini" awakening methods. I don't know what the taoist preliminary preparations would be, perhaps qi gong? Experience has taught me to take these things slowly and integrate them, or you'll end up with a lot of undigested energy flying around inside you.
