Received your payment Cameron. Thank you so much! And check your email. Sean.

Try now. I set TaoBumsMerit style as the default. (This style includes Google ads, Amazon search bar, and the Paypal link all which I hope will help defray hosting costs, save up for better forum software, purchase materials for donation to lending library, etc.) I wish I could continue to convey how appreciative I am of this generosity with out sounding repetitive and sappy. Thank you. Looking forward to studying. Sean.

Really appreciate that Spyrelx. You and anyone else can donate money to Taobums through the Paypal link down the bottom or from repeatedly clicking the Google ads from different internet connections in your neighborhood and local library. But Spyrelx, I'm gonna feel really bad if you toss $25 my way but you yourself don't have a copy while we are going through the study. Because the thing is like 700 pages long, it's going to take awhile to get through it. I am going to donate it to the Taobums lending library (after checking with Bodri) but it'll cost around $50 to print. Hey, lend what you can, but don't lend anything if it will prevent you from getting your own copy soon for the group study. I can probably scrape the extra together. Thanks again! Sean.

You have to link to an image off site. So you enclose the http:// address of your img in the tags. IE:

I'm flattered by the offer. Thanks Cameron. I can afford $25 of it so if we can find another $50 on top of your $25 I'm good to go. If we do come up with the money for my copy, I will first confirm with Bodri if it's actually ok to loan a single copy of his E-books out, and if it is I will print mine out and donate it to Taobums. Sean.

I think this is a great idea and I would really love to get involved with this discussion but I probably can't afford the $100 at all this month. I'll see if I can scrape some cash together but it probably won't be until after the holidays.

Oh I forgot to mention, Yoda. Hira Ratan Manek, the guy from www.solarhealing.com, shows up on that yahoo group I posted from time to time to answer questions. Sean.

Just finished reading the WSM that you sent me. I'm excited to give it a try. Looks like a great practice and it's opening a lot of doors in my head for how it could integrate with all sorts of other practices (I've noticed you already started doing yourself). For example, I'm picturing how it could be done with the Five Animal Frolics, Six Healing Sounds form by Winn. Inhaling in the color/element/emotion/etc. to an organ and then using the sound to explode all your flesh and dirty chi out. Very cool. Thanks again Yoda! Sean. PS: Craig, you're next. I'll send the practice out to you in a couple days. I'm actually probably going to shell out the $7.95 or whatever so I can have my own copy. Or Yoda, didn't you say "Beautiful Skin" comes with WSM? Maybe I will just buy that one.

Create an image that is 100x100 pixels and 7k or less. Then in the top menu of this forum go to Profile>Upload Avatar from your machine. Alternatively you can choose Select Avatar from Gallery and choose one from there. If you have a particular image and are having trouble creating an avatar of the proper size/dimensions, send it to me at [email protected] and I'll create one for you. Sean.

I integrated Google Adsense bars into a new style that is now the default. I also threw in a little Amazon quick search box on the bottom of topic and forum views. You can still switch back to the old style in your Profile. But give it a chance. Maybe you will see an ad you like. And the more clicks the closer we get to being able to afford Invision Power Board which has some great features, including an incredible, integrated blog. Not to mention that I hope the ads will help me me recoup some of the hosting costs. Sean.

Thanks Max! I think I get around 5% of anything bought from using that search bar.

I installed MediaWiki. Feel free to play with it any way you like. I have no clue when it comes to wikis. You'll also notice I created a main "News" page and a navigation frame up the top. Sean.

You mean the "I got here first!" text? I think Pietro edited that. You can edit any page. I'm sure the text Pietro put in won't stay like that for long either. It should constantly evolve.

I'd really like to step in line for this DVD somewhere. I imagine it's a fairly long line already. Does someone know who has it now and who all it's going to afterwards?

Ahhh... It's finally sunk in what you meant about donating these materials to Taobums. They are part of our community now to be circulated indefinitely. You are the man Yoda. Thanks! So I guess we can do a "tag I'm it" thing with these items. Currently I the WSM is en-route to me. After me I'm sending it to Craig. So whoever wants it after Craig, reply to this thread and he'll send it your way. Sean.

Very very very briefly one time. It's kind of scary for me because I generally have this ultra-scientific voice in my head and in this case it's saying "medical science believes that looking directly into the sun for a few seconds can cause permanent blindness. Do you really want to trust your vision to something you've read on the Internet?" Also, the guidelines I've gathered about a proper beginning sungazing practice are a little tough for me. I think the ideal starting practice is 5 minutes at sunrise with barefeet on the earth and no contacts/glasses. Well I live in a very urban area and the idea of getting up at 5am to find a patch of dirt in my concrete ghetto so I can stand in it barefoot and without eyewear (I'm blind as shit) does not get me too energized to set my alarm for this practice. But it's comforting to join the Yahoo Group and read the posts of dozens and dozens of people that are doing it every day with no ill effects. It's actual very synchronistic that you posted about sungazing (I've been noticing a lot of odd synchronicities on the forum lately) because just this week I was thinking about sungazing again and about posting if anyone had experience with it. I tend to get really run down and somewhat depressed during the winter time. The other day I actually went to a tanning bed for the sole purpose of seeing if it would improve my mood/energy and I believe it actually did help me significantly. It got me thinking about how I can integrate more solar energy into my life and naturally I thought of sungazing. Maybe I will ease into a practice. Like once a week for 5 minutes. It'd be a nice excuse to get up for a sunrise anyway. From what I know of you though, this practice sounds right up your alley. Definitely let us know what your experience is if you begin trying it. Sean.

I found this page very informative: http://www.rawpaleodiet.org/sungazing/ The page is by Vinny Pinto as are all the pages on rawpaleodiet.org. He is an interesting guy who seems very grounded and reasonable and is outspoken on a variety of things most of which loosely relate to the Raw Paleo diet as is defined by Aajonus Vonderplanitz. His favorite practices outside of rawpaleo diet though are pretty interesting and you can find great resources on his site for effective microorganisms, the releasing practices of Lester Levenson, something called HeartMath (http://www.heartmath.com/) that I have yet to explore further, and, to steer right back on topic, sungazing. If anything you should definitely check out the Yahoo group he runs for sungazing. It's filled with generally serious practitioners that can help you: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sungazing Sean.

Please ask your question anywhere you want to. This boards purpose is not defined by "ichabod". Sean

They'd still apply because it's still his work and it's used as an incentive to sign up for his mailing list. What I believe is ok though is to describe in your own words the White Skeleton Meditation. I'm pretty sure it's legal to describe the gist of a book you've read as long as the concepts themselves are not trademarked. Sean.

I'll work on this. When we make the probable move to IPB it will support file attachments in your posts so you can upload attachments directly to the taobums server. In the meantime you can link to remotely hosted attachments in your threads here. For example, you could upload a file to your own webhost and then include a link to it in your post. The problem with an open fileserver at this point though is that I only have so much disk space/bandwidth on my hosted server here. Also a fileserver requires constant moderation because, to Ron's dismay, I don't want to start a porn-ring. Sean.

No worries Pietro. You're restlesslness and the feedback it produces is most welcome here. This is a common complaint on forum software forums. I imagine eventually forum software creators will figure out elegant solutions for integrating wikis and forums. I agree. We need a blog setup. And I think the best one I've found so far, when it comes to a site wanting to provide both blog and forum, is the blog add-on to Invision Power Board. Not to mention that IPB is one of the slickest pieces of forum software around; check out the feature list: http://www.invisionboard.com/?features (Notice it has a threaded feature. It's built in and very quick as opposed to the threaded view on this forum which is a mod, slow and I'm afraid a bit buggy.) And you can see the blog add-on in action here: http://www.lioncity.net/buddhism/index.php? Just click on "Blogs" in the top menu to the right. (You can also check out the gallery feature which let's users have gallery pages) The great thing is that all the posts in this phpBB forum can be converted to IPB very easily. The only downside is that IPB costs $200 and the blog add-on is another $50. So I'll have wait to save a little cash. Maybe I'll start a Paypal donation fund for moving to IPB. Right now I'm also working on integrating Google ads into this forum to try to generate a little income for the move to IPB. Sean

Wow. That would be great if you could find them. I'm not sure how Winn/James would feel about this (I'd most likely just ask them directly) but I may even be able to write a script to import the old messages directly into this forum. That would be sweet. 8) Sean.
