Have we forgotten about the people being straw dogs ... and feed their stomachs and empty their heads ... etc?

How about some good grace - she was a volunteer for a very difficult job.

It is connected but not one I know or use. But nice - thanks.

yes but I think that just reflects that things have become very polarised in the political field. People move right or left because they are dissatisfied with how things are. Really of course we should look inside to find harmony and balance. But even then we might have view about what's happening which hopefully transcends right/left dichotomy. Maybe some people on here forgot that - but I don't believe the board as whole has forgotten.

Actually as I understand it, there is no going from one kaya to another. I used the image before on another thread of looking at a pool of water or looking into it. It seems different ... but same water of course. But you have a point about what chooses or wills to see it this way or that way. Indeed what is 'will' anyway. Interesting thought.

I agree on too much politics.

But it did work - this place is diverse and healthy - and thriving.

Also @Nungali if the Australasian DNA in Amazon tribes originated through land bridge migrations from the Beiring Straits where are the traces in the rest of north and central America? through which they must have migrated? -

Not really. But what is your point? I'm lost.

Its to do with the different aspirations of the realised masters.

This standard teaching of the Sravaka, Pratyekabuddha and Bodhisattve/Buddha paths which you can find in any main Mahayana Buddhist text.

The various 'types' are Nirmanakaya and Sambhogakaya emanations expressed to help beings in a variety of ways dependent on the needs of those beings.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. I can see why perhaps Buddhism isn't your natural home. But there are many valid paths IMO. I don't quite agree about the 'differences' in terms of issues and obstructions but maybe this is one way of seeing things.

'One' only in the sense there is nothing other. Multiple means 'many folded'. So perhaps in reality it is both one and multiple both/and and neither. You could say these are just concepts you may project upon it - sometimes useful and sometimes not.

relatively speaking other beings - from an absolute point of view just Mind (both at once).
-
Not really.
-
beings are just bundles of interacting processes

I'm sure there's Vajrayana in Canada - depends which part of course. If its Buddha-dharma then you really do have to be a Buddhist.

What country are you in? If you have faith in Jesus or Mohammed then why would you practice Buddhism?

Interesting as in surprising do you mean? I think all tantric sadhanas have something you might describe as merging - although I guess sticklers would say that 'merging' implies a you and an it to merge together - while Buddhism might say the it is real and the you is not - or something along those lines if you see what I mean.

Hi, Yes i practice tantric buddism (Karma Kagyu) - the only way to get started is to find a teacher and have an empowerment to do a sadhana. My opinion is that it is a very effective and powerful form of practice provided you have a connection to it. It is usual to study for a period and to do some basic Mahayana first.
