There is a kind of resonance between the different effects in our world and I think that is behind the intuitive feeling that the natural events and our state of being are connected. I would cite the sensitivity of animals in predicting earthquakes and so on. This is only possible when you see the world as being about complex interconnectedness. John

Hi MH, I wasn't thinking so much about evil events/schemes but more that somehow we resonate with our environment and it seems, at least, to be getting more turbulent than it was. This is not so much 'bad' but just reflective of how things are. Cheers John

Well said GiH, its odd that so many people apparently seeking freedom want to tie themselves up in something and then get angry when that thing seems to let them down. Its also interesting how keen certain people are to ridicule and destroy the reputation of anyone who writes something powerful which might actually impact on people's lives.

Yes - interesting. I see the throat (internally) as communicating between head and heart which is why language is both about logic and feeling at the same time cos it translates the heart's feelingness into the head's thoughts. The solar plexus plays a similar role between heart and belly. Sorry if this is not very clear or developed but I'm writing in a hurry. Cheers John

I agree that the solar plexus seems to store negative emotions but it is also very sensitive to field energy (by which I mean the energy in your environment). I have always associated neck tension with abdominal tension but then everything is connected anyway. I would suggest the best way to balance and attune the solar plexus is slow rhythmic breathing from the diaphragm - its a kind of nexus between the lower tandien and the heart and if you image those to centres coming into harmony and alignment it should help any tension/imbalance in the SP. I agree about the last phase of his 'work' and wonder how much of Tensegrity is actually coming from him or was it those around him (the cultish bit). He died of liver cancer which for most people would invoke sympathy rather than criticism - and he clearly enjoyed an active sex life! - again this might otherwise be impressive if it were not for the context. We only have one death of his 'party' proven so far - and if she chose to take her life after he died - well that's up to her I suppose. I watched the BBC vid linked above and found that it was ok up till the last 15 mins when it seemed to loose all balance - it even blamed him for all the hippies who took peyote. He was portrayed as somehow culpable for it all while a couple who followed him around and stole his garbage were shown as acting completely normally as was the woman (whose name I forget) who was his one time lover but now quite happy to dish the dirt. So in the end I make up my own mind and trust my intuitive feel for his books (up to and not including magical passes). John

I would say that the weapons represent the active power of the god/goddess, for instance a spear or arrow would be the ability to vector energy in to a specific locus. Also we have expressions like the 'sword of truth' which illustrate that truth-seeking can cut to heart of things. We don't have to place negative imputations on weapons even though in the age of nuclear armaments and cluster bombs its hard not to see the martial side of things as anything than ultimately harmful. I saw a TV program recently about astronomy which showed that the planet Jupiter - having massive gravitation pull - can influence asteroids in the belt between itself and Mars. Over huge periods of time its sets up repeated tugs on particular asteroids which end up pulling them out of fixed orbit and sometimes sending them into near collision with earth - it could have been one of these which did for the dinosaurs. Jupiter = Jove = Zeus who was shown sending thunderbolts crashing down to earth - I wondered if the ancients knew something of this effect. My point being that powerful natural forces as being described which sometimes will be described as weapons. Just some thoughts Cheers John
