  1. When I first came onto DBs in 2007 Drew was very active but his posts were completely tangential to whatever the thread was about. I was completely confused but Yoda (an old time member who recently came back) explained to me - its just Drew don't worry about it. If you donate then I'm thinking you have to immediately let go of it ... otherwise ... regrets
  2. Unusual post-ejaculation fatigue

Yes some deep seated energy block could function like this. Not be apparent until energy depleted. But its only speculation - you need to find someone to advise you in person.
  3. sexual energy and Promiscuity

    Rubbed it out, mate.
  4. Unusual post-ejaculation fatigue

I don't know the answer but I won't let this hold me back from replying If you feel physically ill at these times it would be a good idea to see a doctor and maybe get a blood test (which could check out your hormones as you suggest in 1) ). Once in ten days is certainly not excessive and at your age its surprising that its causing you problems - although I think you should not practice any qi gong for at least 24 hours after ejaculating to allow your subtle body to normalise. If I had to guess I would say you are suffering from an energy backlash where you don't just get the usual slight lowering of energy but more like it gets sucked down the plug hole. The cause of this could be quite deep and maybe some Chinese meds or healing (from someone who knows what they are doing - finding such person being a problem) is the answer. Don't self medicate tho' (its easy to get the wrong remedy online by misdiagnosis - I speak from experience ). How do you feel the rest of the time? OK or still low energy?
  5. sexual energy and Promiscuity

I wouldn't presume to tell you what to do, its up to you - but if you are cultivating in any system that I am aware of this doesn't sound like a particularly good idea (on any level).
  6. sexual energy and Promiscuity

Do you have sex with people without speaking to them then?
  7. sexual energy and Promiscuity

Don't have sex with random mentally imbalanced people.
  8. You were young and needed the money (?)
  9. I read one of his books once - it was quite a trip - half mad, half interesting.
  10. He's talking about 'it's so bad it's good'.
  11. releasing the diaghragm

I know that a lot of spiritual/emotional tension can be stored around the solar plexus. How's you back? Do you carry a lot of tension? You might try therapeutic massage - but in my view stear clear of both chiropracters and osteopaths.
  12. Even when I was young and flexible I never managed full lotus - I later found out through an X-ray for back pain that my L4and L5 are fused together (from birth) - which probably explains why. I think that it is advantageous if you can do it - certainly Buddhist tantra recommends having your knees below the level of the LDT. This is to align the nadis and so on so you don't get problems arising from poor posture. But not essential, half lotus, or chair sitting is ok - but cross legged with your knees next to your ears is not ok. The Orgasm at a Distance thing is a bit controversial (there are a few threads on it) - my personal view is that while it is possible it should not be a goal - it might happen spontaneously but should be let go of immediately - especially if it is occurring with random people including underage girls (as in the case of Voidisyinyang) - not only is it unethical but also the subtle bodies of such beings are undeveloped/very mutable and should not be interfered with. There is a heart centre 'orgasm' which occurs which is more or less benign and more loving than sexual - it has to do with joy and wonder and wishing the best for everyone and world. This is free from the desire/lust or power control which impacts sexual feelings normally. Sex is a natural energy closest to spirituality - nothing wrong with it of course - but be careful its very powerful and can distort you.
  13. releasing the diaghragm

I think you should first go to a doctor to see if you have a diaphragm tear or rupture (or any other similar condition). If you haven't it may just be tension in which case some gentle breathing exercises might release it.
  14. What are you listening to?

    Bloody hell its 1968 again.
  15. Any interesting plans for June?

    Surrender? I give up.

  17. Howdy from Yoda!

    Yoda! Welcome back
  18. Non dual Buddhism

I didn't say it was nothingness. I agree it is expressions of the dharmakaya - but we don't see it as that, we see it as separate objects in space. So we see it as what it is not.
  19. Non dual Buddhism

Thank you a thousand times. Steve for this.
  20. Non dual Buddhism

Samsara the cyclic world of suffering is the product of looking at the world through deluded eyes and seeing phenomena which are empty of self as being fundamentally real and developing craving for them.
  21. Non dual Buddhism

A Zhentong refuge prayer: "The self-luminous mind, The blissful buddha-nature, The causal basis of beings, Is free of both limit and limitlessness. Just as the colour of gold And the gold colour in bronze Can be revealed by polishing them, So too the buddha-nature exists within the skandhas, And all sentient beings. The buddha is without self and without skandhas. Is unending wisdom And eternal peace. I take refuge in it." - from the Lankavatara Sutra.
  22. Non dual Buddhism

I would like to suggest that 'process of removal' - is a letting go of what isn't actually there. Now I don't mean to go all fuzzy and say - well we're all buddhas already so there's nothing to do (and all that shit) because that is actually unhelpful. For me its more about readdressing the process we are undertaking as Buddhists (or probably Bon and Daoist for that matter) to see it in a light which actually makes it work a little better(?) , easier (?) - or even kinder ... I'm trying to be more Zhentong and less Prasangika less skeptical. But I realise at the same time I am struggling to make sense.
  23. Non dual Buddhism

Yes but Ilu I didn't say to remove undergarments - some people always go one step too far!
  24. Non dual Buddhism

'we as sentient beings are the path' - very nice Steve.
