I see where you are comming from GIH, but sometimes words fail to truely describe the situation and the boundaries people set through thought and language can be even worse... People generally talk about what they know about a subject. Though for some of the part spirits deal with our unconscious mind is correct, for holes in the mind must exist for interaction. If it is to misunderstand this statement that you do, if that be the case, I am at peace with that. However, there is much top be said for the majority of old texts regarding the subject, and that most of how interaction occurs, the explanations do not exist in detail(even in written texts), only in methods used. Though this does not bridge any gaps in understanding the subject, it only shows that the understanding of the subject is based upon application. Though there may be a lack of intuitiveness in the magic square presented you need to understand the intuitive system it is based upon, which is a challenge in itself. If you can learn this, it will be more difficult than the most difficult chemistry class on your own. Actually now this is turning out to be a good conversation... Thank you for that post Stigweard, and you too Mak. Gwai Yin that is very good. This is why the "Gathering the hun" magic ritual exists in Taoism... To unite the hun after death. What do they call when a human becomes a disturbed spirit (violent traumatic death)? The energies fuse to become an even more cohesive spirit... I should share the locations of the po spirits. I recall they used to use talismans and jade to stop up the po inside the body so they stayed there at death. Po interact with outside spirits and such. I was taught that the po exist on the taijipole, the center core of light used in shengong training, the specific locations are the chakra cores, where the chakras meet the pole of light. I had tried to reconfirm this with ancient texts in the past but kept comming back to the chakra cores. Some give locations like behind the heart on the taiji pole, at the back of the cauldron of the dantien (triangle) where the gate of life acupunture point exists.... I wished I had added the yellow court to the picture which is between chakra 3 and 4. At that the po have flip personalities, and can be self-sustaining or self-destructive... E.g. the po pf life, and the po of death et cetera. even though I know quite a bit about the subject I must admit I do not know absolutely everything, at that I do use a lot of "shortcut" "side-door" methods. EDIT: I have found that even with the ability to see, ghosts can play tricks, and it is always better to sense them with your periphrial energies lest they get stuck on you haha! It was based upon how everything is interelated and associated with everything else.

I was going to post this in "Kunlun Max Beliefs" however this was too strikingly off topic. I was reminded of the time I was in the presence of someone who had a very high energy level, was very spiritual. The effect was, as I had noticed that my energy felt like it had to rise too, giving rise to even more problems. I can recall that was the first and only time I felt like I was being attacked. Was I being attacked? No. However at the time it sure felt like it. My skin was feeling prickly and my awareness expanding. I was angry, and had some choice words for the spiritual master... Who of course laughed and told me that my energy is not as strong or as high as it should be. Then explained that when an individual's energy rises, the energy around them has to rise. At this point in time I had no emotional feelers so I could not sense the emotions of those around me. It was a very humiliating lesson to learn, but i did. So in conclusion, I have found that in some, it will induce most likely feelings of paranoia or hypervigilance which is not a good thing. Without a trained instructor near and left to ones own devices I can only imagine the negative outcome of it. If anyone ever feels like that, the only thing that could get you through I suppose is surrounding yourself with a bubble of white light. I guess I take for granted as it is one of the first things you learn about energy training... In fact, I was on a forum not to long ago where people were haing these same problems, awareness expanding and paranoia along with it. That was the "Enigma League." I guess the best rule of thumb is to make sure you have a teacher to guide you. So in conclusion, my point is that if someone is beginning a practice, they may not have developed their feelers let. Some of us have been this route for a decade or more and ultimately take for granted where we have come from!

I think what they mean to say is stagnant or stuck energy instead of bad.. Sounds like something from shang ching daoism, the monsters or worms bit. Being entirely forthcomming, go and get trained and certified. This is the best way. Otherwise if you havnt been initiated properly into these mysteries you will always worry and have fear over the next thing. It may seem difficult but its really the only way.

It definately looks interesting... i know we had a different thread a while ago that even got into faraday cages, but zerpoint energy and quantum theory also comprises stuff that doesnt fall into the same areas as faraday cages... Stuff like energy being able to instantaeously transfer from one location to another (like remote viewing) without delay. I agree with criticism, yes it can be a bad thing when people get hung up on words, but most like that are well critical people and wont ever get the deeper stuff. Thats correct. We have them already. yes other schools DO teach different methods, just as training opens your awarness to existing energies. The school of Medical ChiKung in Beijing teaches this method, as there are methods. A side door technique used to sense spirits and ghost is the eight direction perception meditaion, or something similar where you use your periphrial energies to sense spirits. After that, there are different ways of sensing or feeling what kind they are based upon the feelings but that is the most basic. Just because you are not completely knowledgable about the subject doesnt mean you can be 'hating'... In fact if your heart is in it, enlighten us. That cool learner, hmmm... all i can say is if you are not used to it. Dont believe in it, then are exposed to it it can be a shock...(as was my case) Especially when you hear a gooman tong bang on walls. Now my views: There are other types of spirits too, Angels (daoist equivalent is celestial soldiers) Gnomes they build the plants and like to play. They usually come with plants.. Once I tried to grow a rare plant from seed.. They were like.. what is it? Can we grow it? We grew it! Other hypothesis for these is perhaps there may be energies of the environment interacting with unconscious issues, which is very promising. However most spirits and entities require permission before entering peoples homes and environments and such. This is why ghost attacks, and most attacks do not work well against someone experienced... If you subscribe to more complex schemes, the 10 gods, all branches and stems in bazi hae their own power and can have hidden jia in the old methods. However you can also sense what type of spirits in the vicinity when you feel one by becoming aware of how you feel.
