I have a post in my journal and to sum it up my wife and I feel incredible after switching to this way of eating. Its not like we ate junk before, all organic ect ,but the gluten was making us less than excellent and gave my wife health problems that immediately cleared up after going caveman. It is ammusing hearing peoples reaction upon informing them you dont eat bread. One of my wifes friends asked in a sincere manner "well what DO you eat"ummm food. I strongly recommend to anyone interested try going without grain, potato, dairy and sugar for a couple of days and your energy will surge. a paleo blog http://www.arthurdevany.com/meals/

"I cant control it" - negative self programming. As far as meditation I recommend trying Hemi-sync with positive affirmations at theta state. I found this to be quite helpful and I have had depression off and on for 20 years, formally depressed most of the time now only sporadically.

Those animals are carnivore's not omnivore's like us human animals....that is an important distinction, also a croc is basically a dinosaur. People eat bad food everyday including vegetarians so if the vegans and veggies want a crusade it should be against un-healthy foods not just meat. And I would also point out that the longest lived people only have one thing in common and its not food...its a positive mental outlook and family/community involvement.

I must have a poor sense of smell. In all of my years training in grappling I have never smelled anyone that had an aroma anything near bread, butter, cheese, onions. I think armpit funk that smells of garlic is a coincidence.Fresh sweat is basically odorless...its not until the bacteria get to work that it might smell of garlic. If anything I think Americans reek of "product"...shampoo,lotion,cologne,anti-bacterial soap, scented laundry soap...ect

It can only be 2 things...wrong shoes and/or improper alignment. Most people pronate both feet but usually the right foot more. Stand up straight then look down at your feet.Do your middle toes line up with your knee???If not then there is your answer.Do your shoes have an elevated heel and lots of padding??if yes then not good either.

What dream work practices are people doing these days
Christoph replied to thelerner's topic in General Discussion
Dream work makes me lose too much sleep...seems to train me to be in a meditative state when I need to be sleeping. -
"If people want to hold me up to 'higher standard' and single me out, there is really nothing I can do about it." Ok I'll pile on...no one is holding you to a higher standard only the generally accepted standard of discourse on this message board. No one is singling you out...you do quite well enough with that one by yourself. "I never dreamed that I would attract the kind of attention I sometimes do and quite frankly, it's not something I really care a whole lot about. " IMO your posts are provocative (its why I am replying) so why be surprised when attention is given.

Milk is repulsive to me and when I stopped drinking it my chronic sinus infections that I had for years stopped. I became lactose intolerant in my mid twenties and when I quit I was like "oh it s not normal to be nauseous in the morning?COOL! no more feeling pukey at the gym and i thought it was from exertion."
