I think the joke is on the people that actually think jedi is being serious haha
  2. Burning palm experiment

Im sure buddy can produce this with out using any chi Id really like to experiment and have someone who has never done any energy cultivation to slap me on the back and see the effects or even slap someeone my self with no focus on energy to see what happens..no one around at the moment though to try it out Any one experimented with it before?
  3. Real taiji for everyone

How did the melbourne seminar go?
  4. Chi Weightlifting

What MJJbecker says about scrotal weight lifting is pretty spot on Its not the type of practice to be playing around with, with no guidance and more importantly with no foundation. The way i understand it, monks are instructed in these methods after they have created a good foundation of balance and health. One of the pre requisites that should be attained is having a open and regulated microcosmic orbit flow, with out that it can only lead to problems, maybe not now but 5 years down the track you could have regrets but if you wish to continue...good luck to you
  5. Favorite Foods

Recently ive become interested in 2 chinese herbs that can be combined to make an awesome porridge that can be eaten through out summer and winter Combine Yi Yi Ren (jobs tears) with Qian Shi (fox nut) and bring it to boil in alot of water.Simmer it for about 1 and a half hours.I like to add enough water so when its done its more like a soup.Add some chinese rock suger or honey for taste as it can be pretty bland with out it Yi Yi Ren is slightly cold. Tonifies yang energy and eliminates dampness. Qian Shi is neutral. Tonofies kidney and spleen energy. Its has been well known for its ability to treat premature ejactulation , impotance and other sexual disorders and has anti aging properties Since summer is coming my other favorite food is surely going to be watermellon
  6. Here is a fantastic qi gong form that i would recommend to anyone Beginner or Advanced Its called Shibashi or Tai Chi 18 qi gong When practicing the emphasis is on integrating the movements with your breath and mind which brings you to a very blissful state of wholeness. Anyway in case anyone is interested there is a free video download of this form here http://www.taichi18.com/ The master of this webpage has also written a few great articles about Shaolin Nei Jing Gong practices (one of the gems to have come out of the shaolin tradition) for those that might want to know more about that .. I know rain would Cheers
  7. why not just practice both? they are very compatible. My teacher emphasises the importance of doing stillness after movement Zhang Zhuang has unique effects completely different from moving forms Tai Chi 18 is great if you want health and balance Zhang Zhuang is more about building internal energy and sensitivity
  8. The key to shaolin nei jing gung are in the standing postures to build internal energy. When this energy is substantial, then you use the finger bending methods to circulate that energy and refine it through certain channels. The finger bending changes the quality of this energy to a very high level and opens up the channels and point in the hands so you can better absorb and transmit energy with nature. Then there are methods to learn how to project this energyfor healing and so on Im not really familiar with the stuff in the video's but it seems to be the more popular Nei Jing Gong branch known in the west and doesnt seem to show any of the standing postures
  9. Real taiji for everyone

  11. The Ming Men Thread

The first 2 years or so of my meditation/qi gong practice i went through many openings in the ming men area which felt like (pain, throbing, magnetic pulsing, a knot moving up,down, sideways. But now since my energy is alot more refined and body alot more open i dont feel anything there anymore except for the occasional sensations of heat that passes through my entire lower back when i do my shaolin qi gong

  14. Five element Zhan Zhuang

SA arent you a supporter of max and kunlun? So would your veiw on this also apply to what max is teaching as Mao Shan 5 element standing? that its BS and was created only to make money?
  15. Five element Zhan Zhuang

There is one book ive been meaning to order my self http://www.amazon.com/Shaolin-Nei-Jin-Qi-Gong/dp/0877288763 Will order it today and let you know wether or not its worth reading if you want to wait I wouldnt recommend learning it from a book though
  16. Five element Zhan Zhuang

You might want to look into "Shaolin Nei Jing Gong" training, this is just a general name for it . They have taken the TCM theories of the 5 elements and energy cultivation to a very deep level which eventually leads to mastery of your 5 element energies apparently. This training involves many stages, first one normally being Louhan/Arhat stance training, then finger bending while in a certain posture which activates and opens all of the meridian channels brings the body to a state of perfect health then (Kong Jing) , creates a state of emptinesss from which true energy arises This is a really great system
  17. Kunlun -- the transmission

heh cool..so thats the reason why it works and here i am thinking it only worked for me because i was special So why is it you decide to come out with this now and not before? it could of increased your book sales
  18. Meetings with extraordinary people

    cool...Extraordinary!! thanks for sharing
  19. Importance of Mudras

thumb's,index and ring fingers softly touching while the other fingers are slightly apart as if holding a ball with both hands together?
  20. Importance of Mudras

Generally when learning mudras you need to be initiated into it, Just learning them from booksor other sources with out the initiation only allows you to experience them on a shallow level And most mudras have corresponding symbols and mantras that need to be practiced as well to really resonate with them on a deep level and to connect you with the energy passed on from generation to generation That's what i have learnt from my limited experience with them anyway
  21. I am back

heh you must of invested great amounts of time and money studying all the other paths to know they cant awaiken you to the Zuanji Matrix..thats dedication for ya how did you manage to do that in so little time? you cant possibly know this with out having mastered all these other schools ..correct?
  22. I am back

  25. Heart strengthening strategies.

My teacher showed me a qi gong form that aims at balancing the fire and water energies of the heart/kidneys Start of standing, correct posture, relax, breath in to abdomen, smile then visualize fire burning in your heart/ Tung Jung for 2 minutes.Once you have established that image strongly in your mind then visualize water in your kidneys and ming men for 2 mins Then place left lao gong palm point on your heart center, right lao gong palm point on your ming men and start rotaing at your waist very slowly, softly, while at the same time focusing on both points , start in a anti clockwise circle motion. Do it for about 5 minutes then reverse and rotate for another 5 mins. Remember to smile during the entire time
