Help with Negative effects of Meditation?
qijack replied to satyagraha's topic in General Discussion
People tend to skip the most important steps of meditation and other practices and go straight to the high impact energy, chakra, kundalini stuff, thinking that they are special they don't need to do the foundation training or simply because they know jack shit about it These steps are regulation of your mind, body and when those 2 are mastered, regulation of your breath No kind of energy work should be attempted until you have mastered regulation, including MCO and Meditation on your Dan-Tien.If you do attempt these practices with out learning how to regulate you may very well experience all kinds of cool energetic phenomenon, but in most cases, this phenomenon are due to deviations. They cant bring you any benefit no matter how great it may feel So basically seek out a teacher who does it properly.A practice that helps you become grounded into a state of utter calmness and relaxation in your mind and body that is with you at all times, not just while meditating. Then maybe you might have positive results with energy work cheers -
and you know nothing about the Master in this video and off what he is doing and what he knows. So how about you keep your mouth shut to:)

heh I did post this video here before when i made it but no one really noticed it since it was pretty well hidden deep in a thread. I didn't really want to attract the attention of close minded ignorant fools such as Buddy.I really cant respect any one's opinion on this subject if they haven't gorn out to experience it for them selves and it is quite obvious buddy's experience with chi is very limited You would think having cancer or something life threatening would make one more open minded to the experiences life has to throw at you.

I would say give up the 6 tibetan rites. These excersis build up alot of jing/energy in your lower centers, that eventually will need to be released if you dont know how to manage that energy correctly./edit ok just discovered your not that young:P I think take up Tai-Chi.That will move the energy away from your lower centers into your arms, legs etc.And teach you a whole lot more than the 6 tibetans could ever teach you.It helps me alot with controlling sexual urges Also i think its helpfull to sleep fully naked. That way you minimize any rubbing/pressure against your dick that might trigger wet dreams Not sure what ham-Sa is..Mind sharing?

Pu urh tea is really great. It is semi fermented and has a really earthy taste.I usually add 2 teaspoons of tea and a small handfull of chrysantheam (spelling) flowers to a tea pot.Pour in water that has reached the point just before boil.Leave for about 2 mins.pour a cup then pour back into tea pot, repeat 1 more time then its good to drink

I dont know if this is what you mean by compression breathing but reverse breathing is one of the main breathing techinques in my system and several other systems This is the method i have been taught to practice For the first week do 5 breaths, second week 10 breaths ,third week 15 and so on until you get to 100 in 1 session. Then after that you can keep it at 60 or 2 session of 60 if your feeling strong per day morning and night I wasnt taught reverse breathing until after about 2 years of doing foundation stuff. There are risks of causing deviations if you dont do it correctly or your not in the right state bodily and mentally The basic techniques involves breathing into your mouth ( not nose) with it wide open.Fill your lungs to about 70 to 80 percent.Lightly squeeze in your abdomen.Exhale out of your mouth to, as this breathing can generate alot of heat in your body and this heat needs to be released. When you exhale relax your abdomen area and let air/chi sink down as you gently expand your diaphram. Also just before exhaling its good to swallow any saliva you have .Dont force it down. You shouldnt feel any extreme amount of pressure down there. On your exhale try to relax your entire body especially your head, shoulders and chest area.If you can keep that area relaxed i found the rest of your body naturally relaxes by it self Best place to practice this is at the beach, amongst tree's,mountains. Its good to face the direction where any breeze is coming from.Any time in the morning from about 3am to 7am

Beleive me there are alot of spiritual wackos out there that think this is good.I often see workshops and even attend a few of them that theach there kundalini methods of how to raise the serpent energy into your brain then visualizing a lotus flower bloom open and releasing the spectacular light of kundalini in all directions and feeling light bliss evelop your soul. They just leave the energy there. Try this every day for a week and see how you feel haha

Coping with major energy changes - How do I?
qijack replied to MASTERforge's topic in General Discussion
People often suffer from Energy deviations with incorrect practice and methods and no guidence from a teacher and even mixing practices, correct me if im wrong but you didnt mention a teacher Anyway it sounds like to me you are suffering from Hyper Sensitivity to Chi, thats just the word i use for it .I would consider this to be a deviation, probably due to focusing to much energy in a certain channel or using a method that requires you to have a strong foundation as a pre requisite before it can work correctly I really cant say what you can do to correct it since I'm not a master but finding a good teacher to guide you is probably your best bet What Qi Gong and Meditation do you practice btw? -
Great stuff:) Just ignore my video and reefer straight to these ones. There allot more informative I particularly like the theory in the second video about the energetic aspects of standing. There is to much obsession with chi phenomenon like raising the chi up the spine and leaving it lingering in the head thinking that its going to help you achieve spiritual states.More emphasis should be on just regulating your body and mind.Let all the chi functions happen naturally. And when finished always bring it back down

I didnt really hold it for an hour, just put it there as a joke har har.On my good days perhaps 20 minutes is my max with that one quote:Your left shoulder gate is blocked. Work on swinging that arm around a lot and focus attention on actively massaging and loosening the muscles there. Ok will massage my left shoulder gate..thanks Actually now that i think about it it could be due to my ribcage which is a bit out of shape..There is one bone that is protruding more than the others on my left side.Could be affecting my shoulder but thats how god made me /shrug If it was really blocked i would of felt it by now though as i have felt other blockages in the past Thanks for the advice

Basically developing this skill is way beyond the reach of most people. As a foundation you need to be able to stand in horse stance for 1 hour and be able to do up to 50 reverse breaths with out loosing your center. The first level consists of 5 excersises for the arms. While you do them you use your mind and breath to guide chi from your dan-Tien to your palms. If you can keep that up for 1080 days you will develop basic thunder palm.Second level teaches you how to emit diffrent types of chi using mantras and colours and how to absorb chi from the sun/moon etc Ng Mui is said to be a master of this art
-
Yeah these postures do come from the Shaolin Temple. If i understood my teacher correctly, this training is part of the Ng Mui Lineage and are practiced along side other internal stuff like her 5 thunder palm hard Qi Gong (first level to be practiced for 1080 days before going to the next level that involves mantras, more postures and Yi Jin Jing type excersises and colours) its hard core stuff.I gave up after 14 days:P Maybe ill try again one day when im more balanced
-
LOL Maybe it was me?? I wouldnt be surprised if it turned out that you were actually the mad one
-
I think since it onlly shows small fragments of the clips it would be pretty hard to judge wether or not he has skill

Well these days i am learning from a teacher and following what he teaches to the finest detail I don't mix my practices like i foolishly did in the past before i had a teacher I am slowly purifying my mind of all the misconstrued concepts, incorrect views of what following a path like this really involves, of what energy is etc. It saddens me to see that so many people aren't even aware that all this nonsense(80% of the stuff you read in this forum lol ) that they fill there minds with, could potentially ruin there chances of ever attaining anything of significance, even a basic foundation level thats what my practice is now
-
Sure did Even had quite a bit of sucsess with dreaming and managed to recap about 90% of my life that i could remember All Castaneda's stuff really did was plunge me into a world of Fantasy of sorcerers and magic and datura,Magic mushrooms:P And then Taoism kind of brought me back to reality
-
Thats what you would call..A scam
-
There is no doubt castaneda was a pure geniues with the way he wrote his books.Thats where the whole spiritual journey for me started .I even went as far as putting together a warrior group and we would meet every weekend for intense tensegrity and recap sessions, good times I would think some stuff from his books can be quite beneficial for people and how they manage there lives, the warriors way for example As far as all the other shit goes, its complete nonsence,Moving the assembledge point, entering other dimensions, inorganic beings, the blue scout lol The effects of tensegrity are really no diffrent to kung fu.Good for your body and mental discpline. But you wont awaken powers by doing these movements like what they say in the video's and books.
