Martial stuff? Did I have my attention somewhere else then or was that in the afternoon that was open to K1ers as an exception? Or was the exception for people who responded very well to K1? That was by the way one of the organisational flaws, because via e-mail I explicitly asked Padma whether it would be OK to sit aside and watch the K2 part, and she said rather not. The other one was the lecture on Friday. I traveled 300 km and booked a second night in an appartement with the information that the lecture would be from 19:30 to 20:30. I had a comfortable meal in a restaurant in the belief that I got plenty of time until the lecture starts. Then, later, I learnt that the www.wegweiser-magazin.de mentioned a different timespan: 19:00 to 21:00. Actually it was 19:00 to 20:00 then, so I could enjoy a mere 30 minutes.

Ah, you must be the guy who sat across from me! Remember? I got the Spirit Travel's on/off switch wrong. I understand even better now how all doubts about Max's character vanish as soon as you get to know him personally. He's very funny, too. Besides many other things, the fact that he did a lot of the stuff of Saturday again showed that he really wanted to get people to open as much as possible. Everything else is just extra, like he said. On the downside, it's always a bit sub-optimal if time is short. I sometimes felt not quite enlightened by his answers, instead more confused ... or left in the dark. He did the treatment on me because I was really longing for more. Although he couldn't do much about my headiness at that time, I was thankful for the attempt, for it gave me an idea of how difficult I am. In short: A lot of drama in the forums might have occured because people think when someone is as advanced as Max, he's perfect. But you have to separate this from personality and other things. Max is not all-knowing or all-seeing. He's a unique character like everybody else, with ups and downs. People might wish for more detailed assistance, and I, too. Some things were explained a bit crudely for my personal taste. But when you put these things away, the positive side is still priceless! If there had been more time for lenghty talking, I maybe would have told Max that in order to get to "B", you have to start at "A", and "A" ist different for everybody. So for an intellectual like me, it is very helpful to get things explained in an intellectual way. Max of course often mentions that the nature of Kunlun is to just let go, but I already noticed that the detailed information I got from The Tao Bums e.g. about what's going on in the body was helpful. I would say attending the seminar is much better than just reading the book, but that's partly because many things in the book could be more precise. The presence of Max, the assistants and so many practitioners definitely boosted the energy flow a lot. On the journey back home, whenever I just briefly did The One Breath, laughter was approaching. But I was too shy to let it out. It was really hard to tame it down before it exploded. Back home it's not there anymore, but I think that's the usual influence of my environment here that I have to deal with every day. Right now it gives me some confidence that the energy is awaiting to be let through in my body and I don't have to collect it bit by bit. The transmission is still a mystery to me and I don't feel much difference, but I know it's there, you know.

Well... I didn't wear the name tag ('cause I was worried its magnetism could mess up my orgonite pendant), but I asked around a bit and didn't find you guys, but only people who said they're 'read-only' here. I was the guy who Max gave a nice but unavailing belly-rubbing on Sunday noon.

Is there an explanation of the process of yawning (what and why) from an energetic view?
-
I wonder about the bandwidth of the camera's data bus. The first part makes you think that a lightning doesn't have to hit the ground, but can end up just charging up the air. It looks like a shielding effect: The air above the ground somehow isolates and repels the lightning bolt, maybe through an opposite charge, and when that line of defence is neutralized, it can easily pass through.

Very interesting multitude of views and information! Another thought just came to my mind: Could it be the same for the breathing apparatus as stretching is for the movement apparatus? Triggered by the body when regions become stiff due to not using them enough? Obviously yawning occurs especially when you're tired. Yet, I haven't watched whether we more often forget to breathe properly when we're tired.

How to help a sig. other with her depression?
Owledge replied to Unconditioned's topic in General Discussion
Regarding antidepressants: Some of them can cause violent and suicidal tendencies. But did you ever hear the media talk about this in regards to people running amok? The pharma mafia successfully suppressed the information about this possible side effect or got it on the market although there were warnings about this from government experts. -
I think ( ) there's not too much thinking as there are not "too many" people on earth. You could say there's not enough feeling or whatever you might call it. It is a matter of balance. Your way of presenting it tends to hinder evolution/advancement, because it demands reduction of something that is not bad by itself. Besides... I for myself don't know about this, because I can't know all people on earth. There are also many people who really could use more thinking.

Well... people who highly value symbolism could complain about the opposites in color missing in those necklaces. But if they have complementary colors (yellow-blue, green-purple, turqoise-red), it might be fine.

What is your FAVORITE TaoBums Feature(s)?
Owledge replied to Stigweard's topic in General Discussion
Agree. What I would love and haven't found yet: An automated subscription to topics where you answered. And it would be nice if the huge welcome text would disappear after a user did some posts. And if the edit message of threads would only occur after someone read that post, because I do little corrections all the time. -
A virus by itself is neither trivial nor not trivial. Triviality - besides being subjective - requires a context. Take exoscist_1699's comment in that way, and the issue dissolves.

Very nice, subtly but obvious message. (Although I found the guys laughter not very contagious. I had the feeling that much of it was acting only.) The funniest parts really were when they all tried to suppress the laughter while the train stopped, for no special reason, and when unsuspecting people entered. A while ago I had this idea of totally contagious laughter. You could even use it like a ping, to see where there's a wall of negativity. Imagine a laughter that spreads around the world!

Actually it's zooming. But its size is 1,2 MB. It made my network cable glow red-hot. I just got a crazy idea: Cram it all in one picture! Take all 100 frames of the animation and put each in a separate layer with 1% opacity each. Then see what the result is. If you don't know how do do that, maybe I'll be in the mood for that later. ... Maybe not.

Well said, Way! That is so much my thinking!

Joe Cell effect without Joe Cell? - examining it spiritually
Owledge posted a topic in The Rabbit Hole
I'll try to keep it short... The Joe Cell ... search for pictures and maybe basic info if you don't know it. After reading some detailed reports, I was wondering about possible similarities between the orgone that the Joe Cell uses and this "magnetic" type of chi. Maybe you who are experienced in inner cultivation can see parallels: The cell's inner ring is connected to the car's mass and the outer ring, the casing, connected to the lid and its hose that runs closely towards the engine block without actually touching it, avoiding electrical leads or water hoses. The rings in-between are isolated from inner and outer ring, with electrolytic water in-between. It can be reset by applying 3-digit-AC for a day and starting it up is made a lot easier by filling it with energetically charged water, e.g. through orgonite or magnets' north poles. In the car first it might need battery energy to get going. After some time of the engine idling, the cell's effect occurs, and the stronger it gets, the worse the engine runs, until in the end, the engine actually kind of rejects the gasoline and now runs implosion-based on air and orgone. When you now advance the ignition timing to minus 70-90 degrees, the engine will run smoothly. It doesn't run on hydrogen-oxygen-gas like Stan Meyers's cell, which works by involving orgone or some similar type of energy in the electrolytic process! Ideally there will be no electrolysis in the cell, and also can't be, because later it is disconnected from electrical energy. Now it becomes even more crazy: The longer the car runs on the Joe Cell, the more fortified it becomes against negative influences like all kinds of radiation ... or negative emotion. After some time, it is said that the engine was so thoroughly charged/converted that you can remove the Joe Cell and the egine still runs. Probably the cooling system (the water by now will have separated from the anti-freeze-additive and no longer mix with it) now serves as the passage-opener for the flow of orgone. Now I - being totally open-minded and thinking 100 steps in advance - wondered: It's a complicated task to build and tune a Joe Cell without any former experience with it. My theory is that you can eventually do everything that a machine can do with your own body, expecially when both is based on life-energy. When understanding how the Joe Cell works, which could be accomplished by energy cultivators, could it be possible ( of course, but how? ) to make an engine run on this form of energy without using a Joe Cell? -

New Star Trek Movie - All the elements of Tao
Owledge replied to Ya Mu's topic in General Discussion
When I first read about the movie a few days ago and saw a picture of Kirk and Spock, it though: "If those young actors played their roles very authentic, that would be very unexpected and amazing. As much as I love high quality in acting roles, I hate low quality." A role I really admire due to its authenticity is the teenage Jack O'Neill from that one Stargate episode! (I could begin about dubbing now, but let's only say that German versions of U.S. films have a very different style. They somehow just don't get the whole style replicated.) You know what's also very taoist? ... Everything! -
You can't say that until you try "left middle center". So if you explode like just one, you're wasting your potential.

He's not quite the right model for showing those glasses. But thanks for the visualization! Walking around with those will surely draw a lot of attention. Even when people think that a third eye is nonsense, they will instinctively consider one being behind the third glass. Hey, I just came up with a marketing slogan: TRI THEM ON! P.S.: The g is intentionally small in my name. It's all not based on any name.
-
Did anybody ever try putting a color filter in front of the third eye? Are there any tri-sunglasses? Would at least be a great joke article.

Jean-Claw! Never heard a better name for a cat! Maybe it's an evil reptilian cat playing nice as a cover.

By the way... Can I call a person who used a FU for healing "FU'ed up"? -
Actually I was hoping for some more information about what's so simple to fix and what it is that can trigger myopia.
