  1. How much influence by the camera owner is needed for this procedure to work? Because I'm thinking that somehow it must be ensured that the effect is really applied to the camera, and all of it. I don't know how to say it different, but how does one correctly aim the 'magic' of the FU? What happens when testing this to the extreme ... say ... putting it in front of two cameras or the camera at some distance to the FU? Is it directed by the intent of the user? How flexible is the effect?
  2. Right then...

Better correctly write "hearsay", because it almost looks like "heresy".
  3. Why Are Western Daoists so Gullible?

A little off topic: The whole snake oil saying carries a lot of irony, because people don't know its background. There might have been many dishonest salesmen using it as a marketing strategy for selling useless products, but snake oil does work! It's nothing too fancy, just a remedy against rheumatism, arthritis and such. This is a good example of how a perfectly legit thing is being denigrated. BTW... "Tilting against windmills" is another example. People seem to always use it in the context of them fighting lonely against a superior enemy, which is funny, because what they - according to Don Quijote where it comes from - actually say is that their enemies are just imagined and they are delusional.

Haaaaah! There's still a lot you'd need to learn about me. ...he's not real? Finally you got it!

Starved monster on a stick? Monster pie? Monsteroids?
  6. Taoist classics (free download)

Hm, strange copyright where extracting text passages is prohibited, but duplicating and freely spreading the PDF files is allowed. Give CO2 some time!
  7. Right then...

While cancer is not at all funny, when you're not constricted by disinformation, it's really a joke. Let the people of the world put all knowledge together to cure it and let them freely do their work and it could be cured worldwide in no-time. It would lose all its horror and be seen like a cold that you cure with chicken-soup. And the same goes for AIDS. Thus, personally I react increasingly puzzled when people make such a drama about claims of being able to cure cancer with unconventional methods. Especially considering that the conventional methods include cutting flesh out and poisoning the body, hoping that the immune system lasts longer than the tumor. But oh well... the medical establishment begins to accept psychological factors as relevant for cancer cure, so I guess it's just a matter of time before they consider this normal and obvious, like it has never been different.
  8. Nope! If you already described it at the Tao Bums, just say so, then I'll use the search function. There's a FU for everything, isn't it? Well, considering that the power of the Tao is behind it, and the Tao is everything, i guess that would make perfect sense.
  9. Max allegedly said that we should do Kunlun with a clear intent or something like this. I don't understand what is meant with that. It sounds like a contradiction to letting go and letting things just happen without trying or wanting something.
  10. Doing Kunlun with intent - contradiction?

Got that covered pretty well. I really only have three desires right now: A big one, a very big one and an amazingly huge one. Everything else is just peanuts. ... Or chocolate. So I'll meditate on the big one.

@Spirit Ape Are you real? P.S.: More IMO than IMHO, don't you think? Saying he's full of bullshit doesn't sound humble.
  12. Why Are Western Daoists so Gullible?

"no nonsense" ... The problem with this word is that it's highly variable. Things of the future might be called nonsense, when they come to the present, they become facts, and in the past they become nonsense again.
  13. Doing Kunlun with intent - contradiction?

Interesting technique... thank you! I already did this 'instinctively' in a more random way. There are very few things/steps that I can use for this technique. I guess it helps viewing the steps directly in front of me more lightly? Maybe what I should do is less imagination about the highest goal and more on the lower ones first? I'll try this before my Kunlun sessions.
  14. I'd love to know the details about this sealing (a kind of optical filter?), because it would totally explain the whole thing.

  17. I love my mice

To your amusement: Why change a proven system? When it comes to mice, you can call me an arch-conservative computer freak. Intro: This is my whole computer mouse history since roughly 15 years: My mice so far The dirty-looking surface on the right is the nice-feel-coating. This and the logo are now completely gone and the mouse actually looks like new. Furthermore it's equipped with easy-gliders, because the original (and one set of Logitech replacements) were used up a long time ago. Now something happened that can only happen to people like me I guess: The left button's switch had a defect! Sometimes didn't work, sometimes signalled twice or randomly. No wonder ... Made in China. The old switches were made in Japan. How do I know this? I took a switch from the old mouse and soldered it to the new one. By the way... my keyboard history: - Cherry G81-3000LPDDE - Cherry G81-3000LPDDE I needed the new one when the AltGr key of the old one didn't work anymore. The new one was not properly manufactured; some keys made a noise. I immediatly replaced them with keys from the old one. Currently the laser engravings of the A and the down arrow key are a bit outworn.

  19. what makes a home?

Healthy basic food supply. I don't know how bad it is with tap water in the U.S., but a place where the tap water is of good quality will be convenient and generally tells something about the local environment. This is just one example of often-overlooked indicators. In the end, I'd say the place should give you good vibes when thinking about what you want for your family. Hope that was helpful.
  20. XXXXXXX school of Daoism

His style, though I've seen it before, is fascinating. The logic of his words don't carry by far as much power as something else. It's like trying to bypass the rational mind by giving it no target.
  21. Does Mjjbecker annoy the piss out of you?

Don't talk to demons or they become your demons.
  22. Does Mjjbecker annoy the piss out of you?

mjjbecker's rant made me chuckle and smile ... no bad vibes there in my view. More_Pie_Guy's poll is a quick, straightforward yes/no question and I could easily answer it, so no problem either. Communication is very important. BTW... ( you have to think hard here to get it ): What's the difference between More_Pie_Guy and a complete joke? One day.

@Machin Shin Could you, in your comments, please try to better separate the signal from the noise? Looks to me like there's a hole in your mind and random things are escaping. Puzzling.
