Mak_Tin_Si, being offensive the least thing I want to be, I think it's obvious that you could use more serenity (and sense of humor by the way, but that goes hand-in-hand). The lack of them makes parts of what you write here somewhat ... inconsistent. You really have a streak of a salesman's personality, and after reading the past controversy about your forum thread count, I really thought you were more thick-skinned now. There's still that mild aggression and I wonder where that comes from. You're an interesting person, that's for sure. I think I'll keep bugging you from time to time to learn more about you.

Don't ghosts draw a significant amount of their influence from fear of them? From getting the creeps, losing serenity? Maybe because you adapt your vibe to theirs?

Do you mean the furry thing in his avatar picture? That's just a little pussy.

That sounds very interesting; the concept of not just drawing energy from a fixed Tao, but that the source for it is kind of 'built', becoming more powerful over time and with people following the Tao. Do I understand this right? Could you clarify this a bit, please? No kidding: If the argument is very heated, suggest her - for cooling it down - to pour a bucketful of water in your face, outside but in full clothes. This suggestion might confuse her, and maybe she agrees, because the water then might be more cooling for her than for you, and after it, ask her if she would like you to pour a bucket of water in her face, too. Could have very interesting results. ... If it doesn't go as intended, you didn't get the advice from me.

Thesis: You can never fully understand someone unless you're on the same level. So when dealing e.g. with Eckhart Tolle's words, you actually don't so much try to understand it in your current state as you try to ascend to his level in the process. As long as you're not in an enlightened state, don't feel bad when you don't understand everything he says. How could you?

Does anybody know about Liu I-ming's background? Could there be fear from him that these 'quick' practices endanger his income basis or something more deep, psychological maybe?
-
Hm... some details about that report smell a bit fishy to me. And considering that critique should always be welcome and that people like us should deal calmly with matters like this, I think Liu I-ming can use the true names, at least the practices or teachers that he is talking about. A reason for not doing this might be because he knows that his report is a selection of the worst, of possible things. So often practices were denunciated just because like everything else in the world they're not 100% free of danger. I think I will read the Kunlun follow-up thread the whole way through. This is an interesting matter that should be discussed openly and extensively. Maybe we can even invite Liu I-ming to a dialogue here at TTB.

Some raw thoughts... I'm still in doubt about an 'automatic' counter-development of bad things when good things flourish... if you meant it that way, exorcist_1699. Currently I view things from the perspective of the infamous unfairness of life which simply means that when forces grow stronger, they enable themselves to become stronger more easily and quickly. Thus when you just refuse to react negatively to negativity, you break this cycle and probably it is possible to enter an era of massive peace and love. The mechanism that too much evil can no longer be endured and will be harshly opposed at some point might apply to positives times, too, but I think that would just be because of deep fears of people addicted to negativity, because their identity is based on it. After all... good and evil in their extremes are not similar, because evil tends to cause death and misery which really can't be endured, but love is just so nice, you can't have enough of it. I think this at least applies to this plane of existence. The fact that you can channel the energy of love from another realm gives confidence that we can flood this realm with it. It maybe just has to happen slow enough, so that it doesn't cause fear in those dependant on negativity.

My guess: His comments are so fresh and nutritious that they quickly decay, so he takes them off before they begin to stink. P.S.: Some forums allow the users to delete their own posts and threads, which is very convenient. This doesn't.

Sounds like the perfect 'extreme condition' for just placing powerful pieces of orgonite there and see what happens. I don't think the effects of it on the ethereal plane have been thoroughly researched yet.

Look at it like this: Quitting WoW means pwning millions of players.
-
Hm, I wonder (about this special case) how much of the effect could be not specifically due to the FU. Because for both to be willing to engage in this ritual and thus having at least a faint belief in its powers, it already creates some kind of sync or emotional bonding, of doing this together, something that stays relatively active in the mind (Don't say pouring a bucket of water over your head won't!!! ), a memory that can pop up when an argument is about to build up to cool things down.

OK, I will do more practice of vis for making it more real.

That's the known problem with the book: No simple, concise explanations where necessary. How do I know whether I do it properly? I guess so, because I just let things go their way. Not much that could be done wrong. Assuming it aids the purpose of closedown, then I could use the saved time on closedown. I just don't feel a significant (noticeable) difference, so I dropped it. If I feel I need purification, well, I guess that happens naturally during Kunlun, when thoughts about the passed day might emerge and then pass away. Could be nothing more than lowering the time-efficiency of the practice. Also the thing is: I sense when to end the stillness, I sense when to end the closedown, but I have no sense at all for the necessary length of visualization. It doesn't really start, mostly remains vague, and from the sensations I get, I feel like "I could assume the Kunlun posture now as well".

Nicely spoken, I'd say. Quite appealing not so much to the intellect, but to the heart; in a good way. I would add that this anger he speaks about should only be the initial spark, not acted out. P.S.: Pretty lame that there's still no information about who that guy is and what the video clip is from.

Although perfectly believable ... do you have more sources for these news? I read about the White House garden story, and provided that the newspaper didn't omit something ( which they very often do ), then I find it a bit odd to let children work in the White House garden to grow organic food that then will be consumed by the White House staff. Has a certain irony considering that Michelle is black ... you know ... the whole slavery thing. Is this really true? Why does the food not go to ... I don't know ... maybe ... the children?!

Really? I only know the mountain range.

Of course Kunlun energy is just one word for a phenomenon. Obviously the whole energy thing is so vague that it seems to have no specific name at all. Hmm ... Are there other names for Kundalini energy? Interesting... This video is not available in Germany. Why could that be? What does it show?

These are exciting times we live in, aren't they? Wouldn't giving him a Tamagotchi have done the job?

Was it only in Bolivia where the water supply was privatized by Bechtel, or also in some U.S. states that it became prohibited to collect water from the roof rail?

If someone is addicted to games like LOTRO, it actually might be not that bad, because there you reach people, too, and it gives you the opportunity to reach nice people and to spread love and such. The means are really not so important. And when you see how LOTRO is maintained, this automatically tells a lot about with what kind of spirit Codemasters is run. If I developed incredible power of spreading positivity, I might even consider resuming WoW and shed light on the 6 million shadowed beings there. But it's a Far Cry from that ... eh I mean such an enterprise belongs to the realm of phantasy ( no pun intended ... really! ), and after all... those people could also be reached in real-life somehow. Guess it's just my sentimentality ... or wanting to end things well, not by Crysis ... oops I mean crisis.

As I have done some research about new energy tech, I can say that the things described are like "business as usual" to me. I could be a novelty for someone to freely share detailed info about how to build a device. After all, barely anything of this tech is new invention. It's all more or less based on the same principles and suppressed over and over. Citizen reporting and the new alternative news sources are great. You simply can not claim them to be less credible when you compare the quality of reporting and references to the established press. I haven't read the tech info about the motor, but what annoys me a bit is that there's still no design that is optimized for simplicity so that everybody can build one. There's the bedini-school-child-thing, but that's so simple that it doesn't really demonstrate over-unity. Would be a funny thing to produce cheap over-unity-generators and then build them in millions and giving away to the people to make their jaws drop. (According to rumors there's one guy selling something like that as a toy.) And John Hutchison can bake a compound like orgonite that constantly gives off electricity ... roughly 3 Watts from a fist-sized lump.

Cool article from Mr Icke... Interested to hear your comments

Well... what should I say? Another good summary of problem and possible solution. But who reads this? Compare it to the Zeitgeist films: Movie format, very popular, but still relatively unknown. I'd like to suggest to do what I do myself: Realize that there's more than enough information our there. The major effort should go into ways to communicate this, to educate, and to break ignorance. This, too, has to happen in a very positive approach. People who feel overwhelmed and powerless I always try to make them understand: It is already a great step to just acknowledge the problem, to accept it and keep it in mind. They will automatically adapt their actions to this. And if they do nothing else than to inform other people, they're already helping and showing that they're not powerless. By the way... I once tried to communicate this stuff to the police, because they are ultimately the ones who can stop it all and render their superiors powerless, but I got no feedback. People working in the police have a basic mentality leading to their career decision that makes breaking the shell especially difficult. It is so tragic to see countless conflicts where the police enforces tyranny, although they could just be of service to the people and the misery would end. -
It's all creepy nevertheless. Sometimes talking about ideas, whether it's true or made up, can be a strategy to get people used to the idea so that they will later accept it more easily.
