Deadpool and Pinkie actually have a lot in common from what I could gather. Maybe Deadpool leans closer to the Discord (basically Star Trek's Q), dunno. But Pinkie shares a lot with Discord, too. Hm, now a question pops up in my mind. I can read up on what Earth is made of, like consists of such and such percent of iron, aluminum, water etc. ... But how much chocolate? How much is in circulation and what percentage of Earth's mass does it represent? (This was just an attempt to stay on-topic, LOL.)

Focused days can serve as a reminder and a teaser of what things could be like. Extremes can inspire us. That is the upside. You can look at things from various perspectives and see truth. I agree that the downside is the potential effect of making people be less virtuous on any other day.

Her. Pinkie is a mare. (Not from the moon though.) And no. ^â—¡^ She'll get you.

The OP's question was too vague, so I couldn't give a proper answer. I skimmed some posts to figure out what he meant and what I saw wasn't appealing enough to me. I'm generally not in a philosophical mood lately.

I feel like I've heard this before.

Apparently there is no limit to the mind's level of detachment from the obvious.

Participation in this scheme will further empower the super-capitalist price warriors. You're actually doing their job for them. Cheaper CHEAPER CHEAPER cheapens yourself. (Not a deeply thought-through comment, just flow of mind.)

After turkeys shot down a Russian plane I decided that Tanksgiving has to end.

Considering that it can be for any kind of expression, I'd not even mind, but what bothers me about Facebook is that it's run by an evil business.

Yeah, it's obvious. They feel lonely in their misery and want you to join them in it. Not surprised that people act like agents, considering what big fear agenda it is run by. Interesting fact: Facebook's wannabe-competitor Google+ ... when they tried to force it on people, I was appalled, as were many others. Now that I finally tried to practice some acceptance and acknowledged it for the few features that I actually found useful, they removed exactly those features while posting a dumb attempt at a justification. (Basically the typical easy-to-see-through 'You wanted it, we did it.' And no choice given, no option.) Businesses like that are FUBAR. They've crossed the point of no return.

The USA has a hand in almost everything touching their agenda. And since their agenda is world domination, everything touches their agenda on some level. This is why all this latest Paris solidarity hype is pissing me off. I've seen it before, several times, and people still ally with those who terrorize them. I can't even empathize with such events anymore, because the endless cycle of foolishness and convenient ignorance is tiring me. French flag spammed all over the internet, but you never see the flag of an African country in that way. Which has all-too-obvious implications of this being nationalist war drums of the self-perceived master race, which elevates itself so much that pretend-caring for African people is considered by themselves as proof of their nobility. (After all, helping a lowly negro, now that's really not something anyone would do, right?) There's still so much shit deeply rooted in the self-identity of nations.

There are several possible angles on this and all of them involve skepticism. The most extreme I cannot exclude as at least a faint possibility is that all this is misdirection theater for affirming the official story that it actually happened. Directing attention away from the core questions and towards petty details is what the corporupt media loves to do.

I think that's where Millenniata gets their raw materials for the M-Discs.

Too much information! -
http://startpage.com is at least some improvement.

Vista was like 8. One could start to think they intentionally release a screwed up OS in order to drive people towards the next one. And new OS versions are being released in quicker succession it seems. Not unlike what Blizzard does with their crappy World of Warcraft and expansions. It's a corporate pattern. Part of the old structures going more nuts in the face of practiced solutions.

Why so many skeptics and non-believers on a Tao forum?

They're adholes. (Sorry for the language.)

One of those many polls way too inaccurate and deceptive/misleading for me to answer in good conscience.

Popular sayings rarely contain deep wisdom. You need to experience your brain falling out in order to realize you are still there. ;-) -
There will be light sabers in it, so there will be lens flares. Hell, doesn't matter what's in it. It has the JuvenileJerk stamp. I boycott that moron Abrams.

Well, we didn't contain the pandemic called "greed". That one has spread over the whole world, is hardly treated (even supported by the authorities) and kills more people than any other plague. Ebola is nothing in comparison. If anything, it is greed's little helper. An afterthought.
