The amount of good luck being dealt by that thing is AAAbsolutely too much to handle for any recipient. One would think the operators would receive more flak for this aggressive approach.

Wasn't it that he (and/or the Thule society) were interested in the potential power that could come from the knowledge from those areas? AFAIK he was very interested in the type of archeology and ancient studies that could give him an advantage. Thus all the talk about nazi UFO projects, likely related to the information in ancient Indian texts about vimanas. That would explain why he chose the swastika as his symbol. Also because it's regarded as a symbol of good luck. (And the SS using ancient rune letters is based on the same mindset.) And the name "Aryans" refers to a god race that came from the sky, with blond hair and blue eyes, so that's where that came from. BTW, there's a funny coincidence about "88" being code speech for "Heil Hitler" in Germany (HH - H being the 8th letter in the alphabet), but in China, the number 88 is regarded as a symbol of good luck, too. Well... ultimately it shows how little symbol worship manifests in the substantial realm, lol. ... Then again, he survived several attempts on his life and made it quite far in his plans.

Life indeed is easy if you don't look too closely at things. I can understand why one would choose not to. Everybody has their point at which it gets too scary.
-
Neither and/or both.

And wasn't there also Mao with his policy of "religion is poison"? IIRC that was a theme in Opening the Dragon Gate, where the masters had to go into hiding because monasteries were basically stormed. In any case, those are the examples of how the mindsets found in problematic theist people is not of theist origin. But it's so easy to find something superficial to blame so that one doesn't have to gain some enlightenment into the human psyche. It could be too worrisome to those people if they took a look at themselves with such an enlightened mind.

They do believe in gods though ... and demons and stuff. At least that's religious canon.

I 'heard' this line back then in one of my post ayahuasca nightmares. Since I only have theories about what it could mean, but it's all vague, I'm curious about any thoughts you might have when reading that.
-
Which is exactly what I mean: It's philosophical. It can raise more questions, more possibilities, more viewpoints. I had too much of that.
-
Done way too much of that, only got confused with ideas. I'm more practical-oriented now after my ayahuasca experiences (which were way too out-there for my liking while others seemed to have taken solid helpful stuff for their everyday life problems from it).
-
Not sure where they come from, but as I understand, they are like the Japanese "dÅ".
-
I find it ominous that it said "Buddha", not "Buddhism". I couldn't identify any mindset or past experiences that could have made me with my limited awareness come up with a statement like that. In a way, it is related to things I experienced on ayahuasca, but at the same time, in its detail, clearly differentiates itself from those. Also, the two sentences weren't conveyed in any pondering tone, like mutually exclusive or anything. They were two very matter-of-fact statements that are supposed to be both true. Like it's actually just one statement in two sentences.

You are getting so far off track now. The point was mere language logic. You can only say you don't believe in magic if you define magic as something you don't believe exists, but you defined it as something that very much exists to you, so in turn you actually would believe in magic.
-
Looks like you still don't get it. ^^
-
Marblehead, you contradicted yourself. You said you don't believe in magic but then your definition of magic is something you believe to be valid, provable.
-
You said you don't believe in magic and then defined "believe" as considering it valid due to having empirically confirmed its existence and defined magic as either illusion trickery or self-manifesting suggestion.
-
If I just point out that you show mental confusion there, do you see what I'm hinting at?
-
And now, what do you mean with the statement that you don't "believe" in those?
-
What is it that you call magic?
-
This is how the military kills the magic. ;-)

From a certain viewpoint, heart and mind are one. But the metaphor "heart" is useful for conveying a certain idea. We need to agree on a certain language to communicate. Anything that the heart is more than just a metaphor or body organ is likely ideas manifest through collective consciousness (like metaphor and body organ kinda is, too, haha).

Those who go down with a fight go up after it. Converting me to Atheism wouldn't work anyway. I was there, and I left without drama. It was a part of my path in life, but I consider myself growing. (Spirituality was actually a mere logical extension of my intellectual inquiries. If you have seen Star Trek, imagine V'ger returning to Earth and asking: Is there nothing else?) Also, my trying times are far from over. Restrictions make growth cause great pain.

Dark matter itself is an idea full of the likes of confusion I was talking about. So you base a very vague theory that includes a specific number on another very vague theory. You would have a hard time making your 7-universes theory appear any more plausible than someone else's 8-universes theory. In fact, the many propositions in this area that caused a chain of claims about more and more possible universes from various people seemed quite like Terry Pratchett's type of humor when he describes the wizard caste, and the analogy of a dick size comparison came to mind, too. And that pony gets all the energy she needs to be herself. Energy is life.

I suspect that this is related to when people in mental institutions claim they are God. They might have had an accidental entheogenic experience and naturally didn't know how to handle it. Imagine someone unlocking their third eye without ever having read about what that is. They'd think they're going crazy; hallucinating. I also have to say, and I can only speak from my own experience, part of the experience was massively humbling. If you go into such an experience with a huge ego, you either don't get that far at all, or it will be a horror trip. Depends on how much effort the universe puts into making you grow. You know what is scarier than having to accomplish a task under threat of death? ... If the task given IS death. ... And even more so if failure is not an option. Now you might understand a little what I went through with ayahuasca.

But this (highlighted) is what creates confusion of definition with reality, which is a widespread problem. It is like the frequent claims along the lines of "There are only n types of people in the world.", No, there are n analytical definitions you came up with. There is no inherent truth in it. It's a viewpoint. "Look how good I can distinguish. My intellect it superior. My word is truth."

It's a definition. Does that count as fact? It's a 'fact' like that 1+1=2. On some level, breathing becomes a very different process than what it is defined as. It becomes an idea that can manipulate pretty much everything. It is made up like everything else.
