Abilify-a warning for anyone trying to establish middle path in life
Edward M replied to Edward M's topic in General Discussion
Hey Liminal, thanks for seal of approval with post i did yesterday... i hear what you are saying and agree one shouldn't base their decisions purely off subjective experiences or from psychiatrists advice. i'll summarise what i wrote again. Being on olanzapine for 5 years or so, i had no trouble at all, and held down a very rewarding daily sitting practice and lived in moderation. Following a few months of medication and having to go back on in 2006 i was put on abilify, and found i became very impulsive and couldn't sit still or find rest, and have failed to establish a decent sitting and qigong/internal arts practice since. Thinking has also been blunted. So, if anyone is being put on medication or thinking of going on, do research into side effects and ask around, and be prepared to ask to switch to a different one. But at the same time, if you feel really seriously bad, dont not go on medication, give it a try, it might not be for that long before you get enough insight to relieve your issues and succesfully come off. Hope this helps! Edward -

Kundalini - only try awakening it in purity and with self-control "Do not trust books that claim to give you the means of acquiring magical powers by working on the chakras. They will explain that you have to begin by doing prolonged concentration and breathing exercises in order to awaken the kundalini force. I won’t say that these exercises do not bring results, but what results! If you try to develop your chakras without lengthy preliminary studies and work, you expose yourself to every danger. It is just like entrusting a child with matches. What will they do with them? They will start a fire. Well, you should know that the kundalini force, which has to be activated if the chakras are to be awakened, is a veritable fire, and anyone who has not practised acquiring purity and self-control runs the risk of seeing the kundalini become a raging fire that destroys them. Whereas, those who begin by working on purity and self-mastery will also be working indirectly on their chakras, enabling them to awaken and begin functioning without any danger to themselves. Wise words from someone who mastered himself
Edward M replied to Edward M's topic in General Discussion
By the way, the purpose of this post wasn't have a go at anyone or fan the flames of a certain forum war.. it was merely to pass on this warning to mainly young people who are looking for fun and excitement but dont know what they are getting themselves into... It's certainly not pointed at Manitou, who strikes me as quite a pure individual, and it's not pointed at Jeff who seems to be quite knowledgable and well intentioned. Please don't use my post to incite more forum battles etc... it's getting old!! Peace- 1 reply

No, i meant content, as in be content with right here right now. Content to be as we are, not needing anything else to make us happy. cheers

I'd say 'content' would be a good word to use in this case, and i'd guess that is what is meant. Cheers

The Holy Spirit is not Kundalini - Daskalos
Edward M replied to Tibetan_Ice's topic in General Discussion
Thanks Apech, I accept the conclusions of probability i came to after reading the article etc are wrong. I can't explain it then, Daskalos certainly had healing power. Thanks for sharing your research on all this, it's made me think twice about approaching the researchers of truth. Cheers -
The Holy Spirit is not Kundalini - Daskalos
Edward M replied to Tibetan_Ice's topic in General Discussion
Just to be clear, what i'm saying is not Aton is not a sun god, i'm saying that it's likely Daskalos made a spelling mistake or somehow got the wrong name of his God, and that the book above seemed to support that in the desription of Aten, not aton, as being without form or image. I don't for a second believe Jesus worshipped the sun, and i strongly doubt daskalos did either. Also, Daskalos got most of his information from the akashic records, and from his invisible brothers, who were his friends at the time of his past incarnation as a contemporary of Jesus. I haven't researched deeply or really sat down and thought it through deeply. So, i'm completely open to being compltetley wrong just wanted to be clear about what i was saying though, i'm the first to admit i don't always write clearly for others to get what i'm trying to put across. All the best, Edward -

Hi Apech, Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it is only a theory, but the point i was trying to make withe link, was of the type of God, and not so much to do with Moses and Ankheaton. It said in the intro on amazon that Aten had no image or form, which strongly points to it not being a solar God. Also the Anke cross was from this God, which is i heard related to the Christian cross. The tradition of worship was apparently carried on by the Essenes, who as you know had Jesus among their members. No worries with the emails, they weren't from members of this forum. Glad you are fond of Egypt, have been the same since i was a child. Best -

In support of Deskalos, i'm posting a link to a book that seems to say the same thing regarding the spirit God. I'm of the thought that Deskalos simply just made a spelling error as his native language was Greek, and thus the confusion we had earlier in the thread. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Moses-Akhenaten-Secret-History-Exodus/dp/1591430046/ref=pd_rhf_gw_s_cp_48?ie=UTF8&dpID=51R5CEY4NGL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_SL500_SR90%2C135_&refRID=0TZ8DMP2ZDPR1Q6K2N7X Apologies if this post isn't wanted on this thread... i just felt as i triggered some negative posts in the good man Deskalos, that i should post this new finding. Regarding my having edited out most of my other posts, it was because i received some very dodgy emails afterwards, which prompted me to edit out most of them. I now regret my decision to do so. Apologies to all for ruining the flow of the thread! Cheers -

This is my last post, just to say i don't think you took on board my point... and i don't believe chasing someone around and demonising/making an example out of them is a prticularly chrstian thing to do either... and i wasn't talking about jeff in the last post, i ws talking about enegy and light, transmission etc and making the point there are no set boundaries, and that anyone can expreine them regardless of practice.. anyway, i'm out of here.... you have your opinion i have mine.. peace be with you -

**not even going to bother** Apech, thanks for that, maybe it's a case of the sources i got the info from being mistaken in as they Greek was their native language. In any case, it seems the second source i got the info from was probably from a member of Daskalos's group conisdering what he said in addition. Daskalos seems legit in his sincerity, healijng ability and most important of all, his genuine love, doesn't mean he can't be mistaken though. cheers -

I'm probably the most ignorant on this thread, but i clicked on the link, and immediately saw the Ajahn Chah quote: don't be an arhant dont be a boddhisattva be nothing or you will suffer. This is a great quote, and has a lot of truth in it. If you are aspiring to be 'something' other than yourself, if you are giving yourself any type of label, whether in the present or in the future, then you are not being your own true authentic self and hence will suffer. It just comes down to honesty in the present. If you 'get somewhere' in someone else's eyes and they chose to label you, fine, but don't become or identify with the label, that takes one away from themselves. Have a feeling that is what Steve in the post above was also getting at.. Hope i haven't strayed off topic? Peace, Edward

Channeling the Illuminati (after S.R.A) - doing well.
Edward M replied to Unseen_Abilities's topic in General Discussion
Hi Taomeow, i was sincerely trying to help unseen-abilities, i'm not suggesting this 100% didn't happen to him. I also believe this kind of thing does happen, almost everyday i read in the paper or see on the net more new stories of abuse by high ranking members of the government and celebrities. I live in the UK which is a hotspot for all this. Peace Edward
