Edward M posted a topic in General Discussion
Been contemplating getting the level one package, but as i'm in uk it will cost quite a bit to buy. Does anyone have experinece with it and if so what progress have you made with it, what qualities has it given you? no offence to you Drew, it's just i know your opinion of the system also, i need some advice about being able to do hard work! i keep trying internal martial arts and not being able to sustain hard effort for more than a few months.....i can meditate everyday no problem. what would you suggest as something i could do to bridge the gap so to speak?? spring forest? thanks for any, if any responses!!!!!!!!!! peace Ed -

Old man, thanks for you advice, it is very interesting about movement and the brain! also makes alot of sense. Drew, thankyou for the links, i will check em out now... Blasto. good luck, look forward to hearing.. Sykell, bindo, thanks for your 2cents,, it is deff swaying me in that direction Buscon, interesting...what would you say, or anyone else, is the difference between qigong for health, and qigong for alchemy? they are obviousley closely linked and i'd say you can't have alchemy without health first. Thanks Ed -

Hi, need some advice on starting a circulation practice. is it needed when i allready do tabata intervals on bike which circulates the blood? if so, which is best to start without a teacher? i have too much material allready from over the years but never had the confidence to try on my own!! got chia's awaken healing light (micro-orbit), most of kumar's material, yogani's book on yoga and ken cohen qigong course. i have been taught the micro-orbit by a wingchun teacher i had for a while but i got scared off when he said if you don't do it consistently for six months minimum you will suffer organ damage plus you gotta build up jing before each sitting by standing 1/2 hour in wing chun stance. any advice apreciated...please bear in mind i have some trouble with managing emotions,i never vent them i just go inwards with them. i can do an hour of i-am mantra meditation no problem when i have no nagging issues like work that needs to be done. thanks..!!.. Quitting weed is not that hard, it just takes willpower. I smoked it for a number of years everyday building up a big tolerance to it. Then one day i got fed up of being paranoid, sad and allways having a hacking cough so i didn't see anybody who smoked it for a while and by the time i did i had allready adjusted to to being without it. Ask your dad to smoke it away from you and not let you see it lying around,, i'm sure being your father he could do that for you. Oh as far as i understand it is working on the endocannabinoid system rather than dopamine. although they are interlinked. what happens it endocannabinoids actually work as inhibitors of dopamine so what is happening is whn you build up a tolerance of cannabis when you stop you have to much dopamine going around in the wroing parts of the brain..this gives a jittery have to do something feeling ifound. i think how the world as we know it works is as everything is desire based we are addicted to our own dopamine that is stimulated by things computer, music, sexy women etc....that's why hermits have great success spiritually , they rae away from it all. peace Ed

Hager, you are a genius, thanks so much for posting that..i've been looking for it ever since it was on television here in the uk.. i missed the last episode which is supposed to be the best one! peace I'll give you my 2cents,, it takes 40% of your body's energy to manufacture semen, think what you can achieve with that 40% free'd up!!??!! peace brother, good luck! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCM6ldfeCag my opinion is it is acceptable to do these things in a small to moderate dose once, at the most twice to give a glimpse of what is to come, which some might say is a distraction but i think it can give motivation and also awaken memorys of original state. i dont believe in abuse of these things, but rather to be used as an initiation if you like. just my 2 cents....peace Ed also i don't advocate breaking the law as these are descended from the law of God which emanates from God's love. although it does say in one of the books of the new testament to challenge tryranical rulers....i guess it comes down to the reasons behind the laws on shrooms in this case. is it because some do become psychotic, or because it makes some people question the system, or simply to help keep order. Order is deffinitely good, it is of heaven, but again tyrants can enforce their own order to suit themselves. anyway, sorry for the rambling...peace Ed

contradiction, yes i think it is resonable to assume that it is encoded in our dna, after all look at the double helix and the kundalini, and now also they have discovered the cross within us, a gene if i remember correctly. Ed

??? sorry mate don't really understand your answer? i can sit in full lotus although i choose to just have feet on shins rather than thighs. thanks, don't have much time for anything new at present! but maybe in the summer -
Hi, not sure why i'm posting this here, i think i know the solution. When i get home from volunteering as a gardener at a park i have this enourmess excess of energy which leaves me feeling a bit wild. If i have to go back the next day i can control myself, but if i have a few days off afterwards i have music playing in my head and i need to go for a long walk or else all the energy wants to go to the lower chakra's, ya dig? lol also the energy is sometimes like a power trip-- ifeel like i could handle myself against bigger people and feel aggressive for no reason... i was thinking it could be because i had hypnotherapy for social problems a few months ago in which i recall he tried to reinforce my ego via some competitive affirmations. right now from past experience i think stillness is what i hould aim for when i get that energy...just sitting quitely reading or doing zhang zhuang.. anybody else experinece this kind of thing before? how do you deal with it usually? cheers Ed

What do you see differently when your 3rd eye is open or opening?
Edward M replied to baloneyx's topic in General Discussion
QUOTE: "I've seen the gold ring at the third eye (in a mirror) but it was more like a 3 dimensional glowing sphere set back in the middle of my skull. I also saw what I can only describe as a refractive sheath around my body; like a heat mirage on the hood of a car on a hot summer day". No i never saw it in the mirror, it was actually with an inner vision and outer vision if that makes sense? it was as if my inner eye and outer eyes had blended into one. peace Ed -
