I spoke to one of my old Highschool teachers about that once, he told me that the set curriclula can't "just" be changed that easily and he had to fight to updated school material and bring better lessons into the classroom. IMO - someone or a few someones are not doing the job they are supposed to do at the top of the education food chain, or they don't care.

I think the chances of me running into two people I know from the same past life, then the events that followed have to be a billion to one, unless something else is at work. just IMO and I wouldn't know if it should be called divine will, or what - but it sure took the "Heaven and Hell" out of the Christians bugging me. lol. Edit: So do people get what they deserve? I don't think so, i'm sure plenty of other people should be lucky enough or deserve the same experience. But maybe more people do have this sort of thing happen and I just don't hear about it.

I've noticed that techniques will normally work if you put enough time in, regardless of your philosphy. Visualizations and 'techniques' are just tools. Even just following the heart will cultivate. I just speak from personal experience. Religion isn't needed, but can help some. Peace.

You should be able to act as crass as fits your mood as long the argueing has points. Sometimes arguments on this forum turn into the sort of playground: "I don't like you or the things you do, so I'm going to talk shmickity smack until you drop down and sob behind your puter screen." If it makes sense, you can piss people off all day, you'll still be contributing. (IMO) Good luck

It makes more sense to meditate in beginner's poses or in a way that is comfortable for you then i becomees easier to sense the reasons for different asanas.

If you pay attention, even while driving down the highway you can notice much more than energy. YOu can find large mushy masses of thoughtforms that are moving energy and recreating events that cause that energy, like car crashes. There really is alot that can be tuned into and used as energy, manipulation, perception, and patience can teach you all sorts of things if you keep your energy open and feel out around you all the time.

Being able to change the mood of the room with energy is an interesting example I think. it happens automaticly with people with strong energy, but I've run into one guy that could just effect the area to make it "vibe" what he wanted. It's the same as the Secret Smile, you just learn to make the close enviroment feel a way you want it too.(Projecting it out)

Welcome to the forum. I hope you find interesting conversation and discussion here. I have! How would you go about conencting to God? And is it a feeling sensation, or like a point of light? Do you feel happy, or filled with peace when it happens? From an energetic standpoint "heaven" energy makes me laugh and feel happy. Sometimes its strong enough to cause me to roll around on the floor laughing and I feel really happy.

This doesn't "always" happen. Only certain people get recognition in the media, and sometimes its not true anyway. The unkowns are amazing.

Pain isn't the only indicator of progress. At least that was the case for me when Vase Breathing (Lama Yeshe) started working for me. It felt great, and the only difficulty involved was finding time to practice, and discussing tidbits of the practice with a person who had been having results before I.

I'll give a few examples. First time I "got out" I accidently thought about my little sister and was pulled to her friends house in the middle of an argument that was making her cry. Yes, I verified this when she came home. The person who found me was just skilled. Honestly I don't know how she does anything that she can do. She's just really damn good. A friend of mine who is also skilled in this is currently writing an article on it to help me get better. There is NO privacy. I've had her project to me in the morning, as she was able to confirm the exact moment I pulled out to take my morning piss and hit me with some sort of energy sex something. Yeah, I know, I don't explain it well. I'll just say that it felt alot better than the morning piss did, and I got me hard so I had to wait to come down so that I could finish my biz, lol. She's also pinched me infront of friends, met up with friends of mine during projection. For someone with an interest in projection i'd say that there is alot to gain from learning it. If your interested in anything else PM me. I don't want to be flamed for posting my experiences.

Thank you. Hopefully I can move my practice to at least once a day. I'm deployed and my schedule is about a 11-13 hour day followed by excersise(or I may start mornings before work) then my room has 3 other roomates. One who has bad gas . Instead of cursing my luck I try to take every quiet moment I can to sit on the floor against the wall and meditate in the time I have left before I sleep. If you have any tips, I'm trying to figure out why I always start to fall backwards in meditation. I had heard that the issue with that can be a weak back or hip flexors may need stretching. I can do a three minute plank (Palms and elbows on the floor in the pushup position, holding the form) but maybe I have to continue with planks and find a chance to add in squats too. For now the wall works fine(Sitting against it), though. I'm also stretching my legs after working out, one leg tends to hurt after 15 minutes and they are tight.

I've been practicing the seated meditation version from "stillness" movement. I haven't moved into the Chi Kung movements yet, should a closing be done after seated medition too?

No, and I like that statement. As I currently see it, meditations and chi kungs don't always have noticable milestones to show "progress" - Sometimes changes are easy to spot though. When practcing Robert Bruce's NEW on my left hand my emotional state fluctuated wildly. Sometimes when practicing Tai Chi I get the giggles. As far as energetic experiences go, suddeness makes it even more difficult to understand and it gets on my nerves. One visualization I attempted produced a blissful feeling in my head. It was very strong. Although as of now I don't know what the point was, is it just the movement that is important to prevent stagnation or was the bliss a wholesome indicator and important as the fact that energy was moving? I do expect suddness, at first - it feels more imprinted into my mind that things need to happen quickly. When in practicing Zazen this melts away, though. I feel much more relaxed as well. These discussion really do help me think things out, one day it would be nice to practice with someone with alot more skill and experience.
