Hello Ct, Well, from what I have gathered, it seems like there is not much to "Living Life as a Taoist." It really resides in the mind. I do not think there is really external specifications. However, it does help one others share how they are "Living Life as a Taoist." I mean this forum specifically, has helped me change my mind and in return, everything I do externally seems to resonate through Tao. Does that make sense? What about you? -

I love this thread! Please, keep it coming. Read both books, they are awesome and highly recommended. I need to read more about AYP! Thank you for the reminder. -
This was great! Thank you for the reminder. I use my cell phone very rarely. I started texting more, it seems to have helped me stay calmer and more alert. I am going to see if I can get a few hundred minutes for emergencies instead of actual contract.

What Exactly Is A Kundalini Experience? I believe I had an experience, but not sure if this was it. I was about to go to sleep, when I had this tingly and uncomfortable feeling in my stomach. It went from my groin area; to the top of my mouth. It lasted for maybe 15-30 seconds? It felt like a snake moving around in my body. Was this a Kundalini experience?

Wow! I'm glad you came forward. As I can relate. I'm 24 and I work 50 hours. I'm working on getting into a Horticultural program, so that I can start my own garden. I would like to make this into a business someday. I also meditate/yoga and must admit, these practices have helped me tremendously. I suggest taking baby steps. I try to do Yoga/Meditation twice a day. In the morning for 30 min and at night for 30 min. It is a difficult road, but continue changing and thinking about change and something should happen for you soon. Read everything you can about Tao it has honestly changed my life. -
Very good find! Thank you;0

I don't think you do. However, it is not bad to try it a few times to see what it's like. You can also say, "It works for some and it doesn't work for others."

No, but I believe with all books on Tao, it takes dozens of reads and then you have to meditate on it! That is at least what has worked for me. -

Yea, it is like that. Well, I don't know, for some reason I like it. I can see the good in it... You can actually read one of the quotes on my website: http://www.leonbasin.net I just posted one of the quotes and then I added my own commentary. -
The whole observation is amazing! It's like you are an observer in another world! Maybe that is why sometimes you continue sleeping, because you do not want to snap out of something amazing that you are experiencing.

I have not done Ayahuasca, but I did do DMT, an experience of a lifetime. I highly recommend it. Do your own research and do it with guidance.

I am starting with reading The Tao Te Ching trans. by Addiss & Lombardo and adding meditation/yoga. I will then move to Tai Chi/Meditation and maybe Qi Gong.
