Immortality: Yin & Yang or Pure Yang ?!
Thunder_Gooch replied to Wells's topic in General Discussion
You said these masters energy wasn't their own, but energy they extracted from the environment. I just reminded you the energy that is animating your consciousness right now is not your own, you took it from beings that were killed so that you could eat and absorb them. That's reality. Survival and evolution are my primary goals as an organism. -

Your body isn't really yours. You stole it. Killed other living beings and ate their dead bodies and assimilated them into you. Plants used solar energy, soil, water, air, etc to store it away in the first place. -

Immortality: Yin & Yang or Pure Yang ?!

Here is a video on the method by which yin and yang can be fused: Because the matter of our physical body itself is yin, the animating force and energy is yang. We are yang beings because of the energy that animates us but we lose that at death unless we've developed our yin spirit to a great enough degree and impregnated it with an equal amount of yang energy. -

Excess solar energy might turn you into a sunflower too, I hadn't considered that one -

The same thing that happens if you put a sunflower in a desert without any water. Imbalance manifests as disease. People with excess yang might not be able to sleep, have elevated heart rate, body temperatures, mania, psychosis, etc. People with excess yin might experience, lethargy, depression, weakened immune systems, etc. Equal amounts of both must be fused as one to progress. -

As I understand it, yang chi is what animates our consciousness. It is an active radiant energy, sunlight is a excellent example. Unless contained by yin it scatters and radiates freely like sunlight as that is it's nature. So assuming you were 100% yang 0% yin, at death there would be nothing to contain your yang energy, and it would scatter into the environment, or at least that is my understanding. This already happens but leaving behind a yin spirit, if there were no yin spirit then nothing would remain. Your yin energy is your spirit itself, the core essence, it is a passive field type energy like gravity, and if dense and concentrated enough it can be impregnated with a great deal of yang energy. 100% yin beings no matter how developed, still have minds like the cold ashes of a burnt out fire, they are more like automatons, no concept of emotion, no volition. -
I am not sure I understand. I can't see how it would really matter if you were a good or a bad person before your death (assuming you achieved hsien status), I doubt you will concern yourself much with the affairs of silly caterpillars after you've transcended that BS.
-
You are missing the point. Whether a caterpillar was a jerk or not has no bearing on its ability to become a butterfly. I am not advocating being a jerk or anything else. Just pointing out you guys are making associations between things that have no connection at all. Being good will earn you good karma, but that still has to be repaid after you die, it doesn't stop rebirth.

Sour grapes, mixed with the desire to troll... makes for a fun party I guess.

Half baked is giving them too much credit, absolute bull**** is a better way of saying it. My method of meditation isn't unique at all, and I didn't invent it. I am also not special in any sense, and anyone else who isn't a newage ADHD ****ing ***hat cant come see for themselves as well.
