We have more troops in Germany or Japan than we do the whole continent of Africa. We have kept our nose out of North Korea's human rights abuses. It's pretty easy to see what this is all about, it's about oil. If you think otherwise you are just being Naive. We like to spin things as humanitarian missions, but really we never go to war unless it is in our own best interest to do so. Don't kid yourself.

General Wesley Clark reveals the US plan to invade and take over 7 countries, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Lybia, Somalia, Sudan, And Iran, before we even invaded Afghanistan. The first part of the plan was revealed 10 days after 9/11 and was expanded to included the other nations. Clark is quoted as saying the invasion wasn't based on links to Al-Queda or any other intelligence reports but just because the US has an army that is great at taking over other nations.

We aren't there to help the people, if that were the case we'd be in Africa, and North Korea. Strange we only get to help "liberate" these countries which have oil. If it wasn't for Syria's oil or pipelines we wouldn't be interested in "liberating" them.

I think if we had unlimited energy, recycled all waste, and had intelligent AI, that at that point we would at or close to what is called the singularity. The concept of money, capitalism, communism, socialism, whateverism, breaks down at that point. If we work at all most likely it will be to keep the machines fixed assuming they can't for some reason fix themselves.

I look forward to the day we have unlimited energy, and AI to automate all easy jobs. No more manual labor, menial labor, pointless tasks. People could instead focus on pursuing education, spiritual and creative goals.

Every path goes somewhere different, contrary to popular belief they don't all lead to Rome. You can't expect to become a hsien from crystal chakra balancing work, reiki, wicca, dancing naked around a campfire, etc. It just isn't going to happen. You can't build a fusion reactor out of popsicle sticks either, no matter how much you believe you can. This sounds arrogant, hateful, and it is very politically incorrect to say, but it's true.

You mean does the reality outside of the one we experience have real existence, or is it perhaps something like a computer simulation as well? I guess if I knew for certain I'd be enlightened. To be honest I don't know the answer, I lean towards it is a simulation of some sort and the entire universe/multiverse has no tangible reality to it either. Seth Llyod of MIT wrote the book "programming the universe" in which he successfully argues that as particles interact and exchange energy and information, they are also computing. In this paradigm the entire universe itself can be accurately thought of as a quantum computer. The output of this quantum computer is experienced as what we call reality.

Every single person I've met that thinks it's easy to get rich... is poor, and is supported by their parents. I've had people tell me how to do my job that couldn't perform the same function themselves even if they wanted to. It's the same sort of frustration. It's possible to become rich, most of the people who have gotten rich had a great deal of money to invest, had a good idea, and could convince others to work hard for less than they were worth, and poured their mind, body, and soul into the business till it consumed their life. My family was rich in the 90's before the real estate market imploded, a few generations ago my great grandfather was the only doctor in the area, and made a great deal of money in doing so. He had insider knowledge that the TVA was going to dam a river and create a lake for power generation. In the late 1930's, he bought all the property he could afford to around the contour of where the lake would be as cheaply as he could, and in turn, 60 years later it was worth a large fortune. My family developed and sold the property with 0.25 acre lots sometimes selling for 1.5+ million to doctors, lawyers etc looking to build lake homes. They made a fortune, and ****ed through it like spoiled teenagers with a bad coke habit. If I had the money to invest I could generate enough passive income to let me live out my days in luxury, but I don't. You have to have money to invest wisely to obtain a large return on investment. If hard work and determination was all that was required to become wealthy, every poor Ethiopian farmer would be a millionaire.

When you start your own business and it earns you more than you could make at a full time minimum wage job with less hours per week, or you get rich off an invention, a piece of music or artwork or other creation, or you win the lottery or figure out how to transmute lead to gold... let us know ok. In 2005 I experienced all possible experiences for all possible observers occurring simultaneously, in essence all possible realities, all possible outcomes to all possible events, all being viewed by an infinite number of minds as real as my own. In essence every thought that could occur existed prior to my observation of it, every book that could be written, every movie that could be made, everything, all at once. They speak of the mindstream and I would say that was a good word for it, at each choice that presented itself all possible outcomes were occupied by minds just as real as my own who shared my same identity making each choice, as well as an infinite number of minds like my own ahead and behind of mine.

As far as I can tell we agree on everything, when I say nothing exists I mean it in the sense of dreams and video game characters which are made of energy and information. It exists in the sense it can be experienced, and in no other sense. The Mahayana Buddhists compare the mind to a mirror which reflects reality, and it is the mirror we observe and believe to be reality itself. The sum of our total experience is purely energy and information inside our neural nets. There is no observer of the experience, rather the observer itself IS the experience that is occurring. A waking dream is a good analogy.
